The vibe really deteriorated as the day went on, and now I'm sitting in bed, awake, feeling like garbage

#it was an okay weekend but i was jittery and numb for most of it #tried to write christmas cards for the first time in 2 years. cried while doing so and then had to lie down after i did 5 #i got frustrated with the story i'm writing and considered dropping it or deleting the whole thing #spent friday alone pretty much all day which normally i'm fine with but for whatever reason made the loneliness really hit hard this time #spent all thanksgiving day waiting for a familial confrontation #got asked by my 6 year old nephew how old i was and then he followed up with 'well why arent you married what are you doing' #which i'm pretty sure is something he heard in a conversation someone else was having and he repeated it bc he's 6 fucking years old #which btw i don't hold against him or am mad at him about bc he's an innocent kid #but that made me feel really shitty #spent an hour today panicking about this dog virus #and in between all of that i was self diagnosing myself with mental illnesses #which made me feel awful bc it made gaslight myself in thinking maybe i wanted one? #which is so fucked up to the max and i'm so sorry for even putting that here #but i put this all here bc i could never have this conversation with people irl #they'd get too worried or they'd think i'm overreacting or i need to date or need to do something with myself besides read #i'm so sorry everyone #i'll try to be better #i just had to put this out somewhere #and i didn't put this in a journal bc my last entry sounds so teenagerish out of context i don't even want to look at it #anyway i have to try to sleep i have to go into the office early tomorrow #i'm sorry guys #i really am😔

it's literally not a good idea in any way shape or form but I want to get a second job in fast food

#it's not a good idea bc the wages are GARBAGE compared to retail #Macca's base rate for my age is less than half my sunday rate #and they don't get much beyond the base rate #whereas retail we have an incredible base rate AND more weekdays past 6pm and weekends (sat is the same as mon-fri 6pm #and sunday is significantly more) #and like yeah im not getting many shifts but if i were to ask for more I still wouldn't be able to work more than 4 hour shifts til july #bc my retail corporation is surprisingly ethical and extends the age limits by a lot #whereas my friend has a 7.5 half hour shift tomorrow AFTER school. on a week night 😁 #which is actually horrifying and should nawwt be legal. thats school 9-3 (+20 min) then work 4-11:30 btw #like i should just wait til my birthday in july n ask for more shifts in retail but i want to try fast food #even though the pay is incredibly ridiculously bad (<10 AUD) (yes our adult minimum wage is a good ~23 but under 21 is a percentage of that #like the pay is so bad so i would earn the same or more doing wayy less hours than retail #but i kinda want to get the fast food experience bc it'll be more difficult to get hired as i age #bc i want to save up 20k for top surgery but at the rate im going it'll be difficult to have even thay #let alone savings after top surgery or money to get a car before #and as school gets more difficult it'll be harder to work more #so maybe i should just grind for a few months or til the end of the year then go back to retail exclusively? #and enjoy higher pay and some longer shifts? #but idkkk it's just such a dilemma bc i want more shifts than I'll get at retail but fast food pays so little #but i also really want the experience and to just try it out #im gonna. idk im gonna sit on it for a bit bc i want to get my legal name change sorted before i apply to any second jobs and that will #take a while #so i shall consider. draw up a timetable. write a pros and cons list #yes that sounds like a solid plan #whoop typo but im on mobile i meant 'wayy less hours IN retail'

Had to empty the giant box into three bags to get it upstairs because it was too heavy for me to lift. The funniest part is that I was the one who packed it and moved it twice originally. I'm put about seventy percent of it away and just need to finish sorting out the beads and buttons that were in it as well as the patterns.

Sorted through the trims and tapes my grandma had in her sewing table and found some interesting vintage ones. I don't know what I'll do with some of them but it'll be a fun challenge to figure it out eventually.

#okay so - I've been trying to get help from the 'help for people in need' dept in my state government #they once told me to call back once I'm sleeping in my car - they can't do anything for me until then #I've left messages for my case worker; got no reply #someone who used to work with that dept just told me the need for help is now so great it's terribly hard to get through #and then you just go on a waiting list #feeling very hopeless #after this weekend I have nowhere to go for at least two weeks #I honestly don't know if my body can take it #but hey maybe I'll end up in the hospital for the excessive swelling of my ankles and feet #might be the light at the end of the tunnel - right?
