Twenty Questions for Fic Writers
Thank you @yoellglia, @shambolicchaos and @rafasbiscuits for tagging me (I'm very late, but you're used to it), I love reading your answers and more, I love reading your works, please go on with writing sweeties ♥
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
I have eight works but two of them are just translations of two so my works.
Ce que la vie nous prend/What life takes from us (Titanic 1997 & Titanic 2012)
Not just a game (FR)/Not just a game (ENG) (Formula 1 RPF)
I will always believe in you (Tennis RPF)
Caught in the storm (Tennis RPF)
And baby makes three (Tennis RPF)
It's just a bad day, not a bad life (Tennis RPF)
2. What’s your total AO3 word count?
Wait, I need to do maths? 😫
114859 words if I'm correct and if my phone works 🧐
3. What fandoms do you write for?
I wrote a Titanic fic and a Formula 1 RPF fic an eternity ago (I really need to post the next chapters btw), some Tennis RPF too and I just started writing a MotoGP RPF oneshot.
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
Not just a game (ENG) - 80 kudos
Caught in the storm - 37 kudos
Not just a game (FR) - 29 kudos
I will always believe in you - 25 kudos
And baby makes three - 18 kudos
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
Yes, I always do! I write fics in small fandoms, we are a family so of course i'm answering to everyone! ❤
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Didn't finish it yet but probably: Ce que la vie nous prend/What life takes from us.
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
I don't know... maybe Caught in the storm. 🤔
8. Do you get hate on fics?
The only hate I get is from me Never, my readers are the best! ❤
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
I tried, but I just can't, even if I'm the first one to read smut. 😂
10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?
Well, Ce que la vie nous prend/What life takes from us is a crossover with the Titanic 1997 movie and the Titanic 2012 minseries. But it was not crazy I guess.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Nope, who would want to steal my garbage? 😂
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Yes. By myselft. That's it.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
No, but I would love to if someone wants! 👀
14. What’s your all time favourite ship?
Well, I wrote a lot about Casper and Matteo (Ruudettini) power and at the moment everything is about Fabio and Marc (Mabio supremacy) BUT my all time favorite ship will always be Drarry (yeah, nothing to do with what I'm writing 😭).
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
I WILL FINISH MY WORKS IN PROGRESS, IT'S A PROMISE!
16. What are your writing strengths?
Knowing that people enjoy what I'm writing is my biggest strenght 🥰
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
I am unpredictable and irregular: a day, I can write 6-7 pages in a row in a few hours and the day after, I'm just staring at a blank page. 🥴
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
I love it, I do it in English when I translate my works haha.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
First since I start writing for myself in middle school was a Bleach think. 🤣
20. Favourite fic you’ve written?
I don't really know, I love my writing for Ce que la vie nous prend/What life takes from us but Not just a game holds a special place in my heart too and I need to finish those works fr. 🤩
Tagging: Nobody, i'm so late doing it so I don't even remember who already did it 😂 but if you want to do it, feel free to tag me!

Ogni vita conta. E salviamo i poveri".
È in pericolo.

2023 Oscars Trivia (Post-Ceremony)
Like last year, the Best Picture winner had a big night: Oppenheimer won 7 awards, as did Everything Everywhere All at Once. This post will use the word "consecutive" a lot.
This is the second consecutive year that a film won 7+ awards. The last time that happened was 1996-1998 (The English Patient; Titanic; Shakespeare in Love).
This is the second consecutive year that a film has won multiple acting awards. The last time that happened was 2003 & 2004 (Mystic River and Million Dollar Baby). The only other time consecutive Best Picture winners won multiple acting awards was 1953 & 1954 (From Here to Eternity and On the Waterfront).
Four consecutive Best Picture winners have won for acting, the longest streak since 1998-2002.
Oppenheimer is the first film since The Artist (2011) to win both Best Picture and Best Actor.
Oppenheimer is the 6th film to win both male acting awards and the first since Dallas Buyers Club (2013). The last Best Picture winner to win both male acting awards was Ben-Hur (1959).
Three of this year's acting winners have starred in superhero films: Emma Stone was Gwen Stacy in The Amazing Spider-Man, Cillian Murphy was Scarecrow in the Nolan Batman movies, and Robert Downey Jr., of course, is Iron Man.
Oppenheimer is the highest-grossing Best Picture winner since The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003).
Three Best Picture nominees went home empty-handed: Killers of the Flower Moon, Maestro, and Past Lives.
Killers of the Flower Moon is the third Scorsese film to receive 10 nominations and 0 awards (Gangs of New York, 2002; The Irishman, 2019).
Diane Warren continues to hold the record for most Original Song nominations without a win (15) and continues to be the woman with the most Oscar nominations without a win. She has lost six in a row.
Bradley Cooper is now tied for 8th place among individuals with the most nominations without a win (12).
Despite several nominations -- Martin Scorsese and Robert De Niro for Killers of the Flower Moon, and Matteo Garrone's Io Capitano for International Feature -- none of the men behind Goncharov took home an Oscar.
This is the 8th consecutive year with at least one black winner, extending the record.
Da'Vine Joy Randolph is the 10th black woman to win Best Supporting Actress -- the first acting category to hit double digits.
This is the fourth consecutive year with at least one non-white acting winner (Michelle Yeoh and Ke Huy Quan in 2022; Will Smith and Ariana DeBose in 2021; Daniel Kaluuya and Youn Yuh-jung in 2020) -- the longest streak ever.
Cord Jefferson is the 8th black screenplay winner, and this is the 6th such win (all but one were for Adapted Screenplay).
This is the fourth year in a row that a woman has won a screenplay award (Justine Triet for Anatomy of a Fall, Sarah Polley for Women Talking, Sian Heder for CODA, Emerald Fennell for Promising Young Woman) -- the longest streak ever.
Both screenplay wins were the only wins for their films, and both wins included the film's director. This is the 9th year in a row that a director has won for Original Screenplay, and the 6th year in a row for Adapted Screenplay; both are records.
Kiyoko Shibuya is the third woman and first woman of color to win for Visual Effects (Suzanne M. Benson for Aliens, 1986; Sara Bennett for Ex Machina, 2015).
Neil Corbould, nominated for The Creator, Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part I, and Napoleon, is the first person to lose for Visual Effects three times in one year (don't worry, he's already won twice).
Billie Eilish (22) and Finneas O'Connell (26) are the youngest people to win multiple Oscars ("No Time to Die" from No Time to Die, 2021).
At 35, Emma Stone is the 8th-youngest person and woman to win two acting Oscars, and the 7th-youngest to win Best Actress twice.
Cillian Murphy is the first Irish Best Actor winner.
Christopher Nolan was the only individual to win multiple awards (Picture and Director).
Christopher Nolan is the first white man to win Best Director solo since Damien Chazelle (La La Land, 2016). Including Daniel Scheinert for Everything Everywhere All at Once, this is the first time since 2010 & 2011 that white men have won Best Director in consecutive years (Tom Hooper for The King's Speech; Michel Hazanavicius for The Artist), and that consecutive Best Picture winners have had a white male director.
The Zone of Interest is the first film from the United Kingdom to win Best International Feature. It is the fifth Best Picture nominee in six years to win in this category, and the third in a row (Drive My Car and All Quiet on the Western Front).
20 Days in Mariupol is the first Ukrainian film to win an Oscar.
Takashi Yamazaki is the second director to win for Visual Effects (Stanley Kubrick for 2001: A Space Odyssey, 1968).
Godzilla Minus One is the first Godzilla film to win an Oscar and the first Japanese film to win for Visual Effects (Tora! Tora! Tora!, 1970, was an American-Japanese co-production). Previously, the only Asian Visual Effects winner was Taiwanese-American Doug Chiang (Death Becomes Her, 1992).
This is the second time that only one non-Best Picture nominee won in a main category (i.e. excluding Animated, Documentary, International, shorts). The other time was 1997 (Best Makeup for Men in Black); notably, that was the year Titanic tied the record for most awards.
This is the second year in a row that the most-nominated film a) won Best Picture and b) won the most awards of the night. The last time consecutive most-nominated films won the most awards was 2016 & 2017 (La La Land and The Shape of Water); the last time consecutive most-nominated films won Best Picture was 2009 & 2010 (The Hurt Locker and The King's Speech).
This is the second consecutive year that multiple films have won 4+ awards (Everything Everywhere All at Once and All Quiet on the Western Front). The last year with multiple 4+ winners was 2014 (Birdman and The Grand Budapest Hotel), and the last time it happened consecutively was 2010 & 2011 (The King's Speech and Inception; The Artist and Hugo).
This is the third consecutive year that three or fewer films have won multiple awards, the longest streak since 1956-1960.
Two couples shared wins: Christopher Nolan & Emma Thomas for Best Picture, and Justine Triet & Arthur Harari for Original Screenplay.
Christopher Nolan & Emma Thomas are the third couple to share a Best Picture win (Richard D. Zanuck & Lili Fini Zanuck, Driving Miss Daisy, 1989; Peter Jackson & Fran Walsh, The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, 2003).
Justine Triet & Arthur Harari are the third couple to win for Original Screenplay (Muriel & Sydney Box, The Seventh Veil, 1946; Earl W. & Pamela Wallace, Witness, 1985).
Toshio Suzuki is the second Asian winner of Animated Feature, and Hayao Miyazaki is the first Asian to win twice (Spirited Away, 2002).
The Boy and the Heron and Spirited Away are the only two hand-drawn animated films and the only two non-English-language films to win Animated Feature.
Pixar has lost Animated Feature three years in a row, its longest drought ever.
Holly Waddington is the first person since Mark Bridges (The Artist, 2011) to win Best Costume Design for her first nomination.

Oh people are latching onto the hamfisted clock stuff because stranger things did that. Saying Goncharov's clock stuff is genius is like saying the boat in Titanic symbolises boats. It's not that deep and Matteo is a hack.

Person: @cassanderx Location: A balcony, downtown "You alright?" Ducked down against the short balcony wall, he looks sideways at his older brother as he tries to catch his breath. Matteo had a very simple plan when it came to all of this and it was simply to survive. Which was easier said than done considering the Titan shambling around the city amongst oh, everything else. In that moment, with the sky black and the sounds of the city in chaos below them, it doesn't matter that they've done little more than exchange pleasantries the last few years. What matters is that Cass is his blood, probably the only one he really cares for anymore.

Personal recap Skate Canada 2023 Men Free Skate
I'd say this was a typical men free skate. Not a splat overall, but couple falls and mistakes. Not something I'd rewatch but also not too bad besides heartbreak for Jun 😭😭😭
Congrats to Sota, Kao and Matteo! 🥳 🥳 🥳
Kao, Kazuki and Matteo were the highlights for me.
Kao skating to Attack on Titan gives him personal bonus points imo. He really did attack his program and the energy throughout was amazing. Kao is easily one of my new Japanese faves. Liked him last season, like him even better now.
Matteo really had an amazing redemption skate. Some jumps were so much off axis I am surprised he landed them. Fix you is a great choice for Matteo.
Kazuki ❤️ I love this program. You could see he was nervous. Sadly the way the program went is not unusual for him. Even though I am not mad for Matteo taking the Bronze I think judges did Kazuki dirty. 81 PCS??? (when Ilia last week had 86???) don't sit right with me. He had the best skating skills of them all. I am not too hopeful Kazuki can still qualify for the GPF as he is facing Shoma, Adam and Sota at CoC, but hope dies last. 🙏
Sota imo really improved in the performance department. I enjoy his skating much more than last season. Shame about the Axels otherwise that opening 4S was tremendous. After all Sota has been through I am very happy for his win. 🥇
Jun was pure heartbreak 💔💔💔Can't say anything else. Devastated for Jun. I really hope he can come back strongly. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Mikhail Shaidorow was impressive. I think they lowballed him quite a bit. Also in the SP. His transitions were more complex than most of the field, but it wasn't rewarded. His presentation also ain't that bad, still not much higher PCS than Gorodnitsky...not a fan of his skating in particular just saying...
Canadians altogether were forgettable...Canada really has a problem in developing skaters with a bit more consistency...
Mihhail Selevko started out all right just didn't have enough stamina to pull through, but as the first skater out, could have been a worse start to the comp. Mark Gorodnitsky with a clean free skate left a good impression. I like Liam Kapeikis skating, very lovely - new PB for him probably says everything.
Overall the first group was not worse than the 2nd. It did have ups and downs just like the 2nd group.

What can you tell us about Leo and Matteo? I keep thinking about them, especially what with ‘sweet child of mine’ on my mind cannot be stopped. Did all three of Caius’ children know each other? Did he sire all three or did Athenodora sire one or both of the boys? How old are they/when were they sired (age and time period)? Do you have fancasts?
I’m sure you’re gonna reveal more about them in The Turning Of Caius and other future works but if there is anything you can give us now that’d be cool!
• — 𝑀𝑎𝑡𝑡𝑒𝑜 & 𝐿𝑒𝑜
It always brings me joy to know people are invested in my original characters. And I do indeed plan to talk more about them in both “Snowfall”, “Sweet Children of Mine” and “And Titans Walked the Earth”. All upcoming stories of mine. I will however give you some details about Caius’ immortal sons.
As reference; Corin was born in 24 BC and turned by Caius in 2 AD.
• 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐨 •
Born: 57 AD in Pompeii, The Roman Empire
Turned: 79 AD, he was almost a casualty after the eruption of Mount. Vesuvius, an event Caius and Felix witnessed. The two of them would find Matteo and Caius was compelled to save the young man for he looked quite a lot like one of his sons from his human life. Corin and Matteo grew close, though Caius still kept the two of them at somewhat of a distance. Sadly, he would come to regret that immensely... for Matteo would not be a part of his life for too long.
Died: 487 AD
A song that describes Matteo: Leaves From The Vine ( Little Soldier Boy)
• 𝐋𝐞𝐨 •
Born: 1848 AD in Königsberg, The Kingdom of Prussia
Turned: 1866 AD, him and his squad was caught by surprise and vampires attacked them in the carnage that followed. Leo had managed to drag himself to safety near some underbrush. Caius had sworn to never turn another human again after Matteo, but the way Leo looked back at him as he approached from behind and even fired a shot in the king made Caius pause. For this young boy was so familiar and to some extent reminded him of himself, so he turned him. Leo left the palazzo in 1913, and never returned.
Status: Unknown.

titanic was so good omg. I loved both mateo and charlie but charlie's ending pissed me off so bad cuz he either ended up dead or hated you for saving him lmao. and I heard there was supposed to be another season that focused on a different mc so it's sad we never got it 😭
Right?! I was on Matteo’s path, but if you’re on Charlie’s, you don’t really get to be together. And if you don’t save James’s shady ass, both Matteo and Zetta die. I liked that our choices actually mattered. Unlike some other interactive fiction apps. 🙄
