Ah... The change of seasons has me changing it up a bit in creative practice as well! And, I LOVE variety and learning and growing and celebrating and all that stuff. 😊 The painting in the middle is one I just finished - as recent as it gets for today's #marchmeetthemaker #recentwork prompt - I still have paint on my fingers! It is inspired by and infused with energy/essence of peach blossoms that are making my heart happy today. I brought a branch that had broken inside and let it lead the way. I think I'll call it "Gratitude Blossoms." The fan was laying on art table for future collage and I painted another piece inspired by this color palette that I placed it on like a frame. I kind of like the combination and might actually finish it this way. It feels so peaceful, yet fruitful at the same time. Here here!! This is at the heart of being truly and unapologetically YOU. Being willing to be ridiculously, outrageously, hilariously giddy in your own silliness. 👻 My babe @christut is always in awe of how silly I can be; that I'm always making up songs, humming or whistling (and making him name that tune!), and how often I crack myself up. He calls it "jokes for one" because I'm the only one laughing. 😜 There is laughter and joy to be found in even the most mundane or intense times, and goodness knows we are best off learning to laugh at ourselves amidst some of the more challenging ones! "If we don't laugh, we'll cry." Crying is ok, too. In fact, in 2014 I mastered what I call the 'crazy laugh cry,' as I experienced such rapid abundant expansion that there was no holding on... I simply had to let go & let it flow through me, and flow it did!!
