Heres my own redesign of s1 Nya I did for funsies!

I always wished she had a less formal outfit (because lets face it, a qipao isn’t exactly casual) but it was too iconic to just completely remove, so I gave her a jacket! I also added some subtle hints to her being a mechanic/Samurai X; her toolbelt, goggles and the oil smudge on her cheek!

Not much else I would really change about her character in s1 (except her … questionable writing but that’s a talk for another day..,,!)

HERES A SMALLER AND A LITTLE MORE SPECIFIC RUN DOWN OF THE CYBERPUNK’S POLYNINJA SHIPS!!

Answers under cut !!

1. Ambiguous (as I realize now) may have been a bit too…. well, ambiguous, of a word to use, but I still don’t know what I should put instead of it, so it stays in the relationship chart, but I made this additional chart which is a bit more specific as well! Basically ambiguous means that it’s a relationship still being developed where the au currently is at timeline wise (if that makes sense?)

2. The reason I said spoilers in the bruise ask was because I’m writing a cyberpunk au fic on this! (More specifically oppo, but the others will be heavily included as well !!!)

3. Yes it eventually turns into a poly relationship!

Dark matter from s2 ninjago is literally so pretty… i would eat this shit right up… the forbidden yoghurt? Probably tastes like blackberry… Literally one of the things i remembered most from my first watch of ninjago before rewatching it again, even kid me agrees that this shit would taste heavenly… just look at it… sigh… turning into an evil brainless zombie would be a small price to pay to get a lick of that.

Hi guys!

I’m discontinuing any content for the Ninjago Cyberpunk AU (and also any other ninjago projects that I’ve made any promises about working on.) But will be posting any unfinished content I have from it.

I’ve done a lot of thinking about what I actually like doing and creating, and I’ve realized that the reason I loved Ninjago was never really projecting onto the characters and making new stories about them, but rather the original stories of the show! It took me a while to realize that I don’t even really enjoy new Ninjago, which makes sense, I’m not a kid anymore and without the nostalgia its just really not something catered to me! Ninjago has never been a show that grows up with it’s audience and I don’t judge it for it.

This does not mean that I hate Ninjago now, not at ALL. I’ve just realized that the way that the fandom interacts with Ninjago isn’t the way I like interacting with it personally. It took me a while to realize that having to make my own stories about these characters to keep Ninjago as my interest isn’t something I want to have to keep doing, and that I’d much rather find new interests and media that I can enjoy without that struggle! I still want to make stories, but I want to do it with my own characters and settings.

This also doesn’t mean that I’m never making ninjago fanart again, it just means that I’m distancing myself from the fandom aspect of things and if I ever do make more fanart, it’s probably gonna be from earlier seasons because thats what I enjoy most about Ninjago and thats where I have the most nostalgia from!

I recently hit 3k followers which I’m super thankful for, and I find it incredible that so many people want to see my art :,) I hope some of you guys will stay and watch me grow as an artist beyond just Ninjago <3

My last official Ninjago “project” will be a DTIYS of my s1 Nya redesign that I’ll host sometime this month, so make sure to look out for that :)
