Really taking a closer look at Phoenix, she seems to have shiny gold legs and a red skirt that splits in the front. Her forehead gem is maybe egg-shaped? To represent the phoenix's rebirth? Her hair is pinkish-red and gold at the ends, and I may be looking too close but the texture of the hair really looks like microbraids to me. The head bobbles are throwing me off, it's hard to tell what they're meant to be. It looks like they might anchor into the head the same way Amber's head scale things did.

Interesting to note as well that she's the one shown in the example potion reveal image on the bottle. In the past it was always Unia, as she was the one in the center of the character art, and for Flitta and Wynter as solo releases it's just their own art. So it's something to note that Phoenix is the example here, despite being to the side on the main art. It does mean we see the color of her bottle twister that distinguishes her, since we have stock photos of the other three that show them.

I haven't seen any other doll blogs post them yet, but here's the stock photos for the upcoming "Shimmerverse" Magic Mixies Pixlings line for 2024!

The first two are redesigns of Marena and Faye for the line, while the bottom girl is a new character named Catlyn! The packaging shows there will be a fourth character in the line (the second new character) with red hair .

There will also be a two-pack for the "Shimmerverse" Magic Mixies Pixlings line featuring the doll Unia, as well as Bearlinda from the Galaxy Hair line, and Firensa and Nebula from the Deluxe Hair line!

All four should be releasing late in May 2024

Inexplicable Space Theming in Magic Mixies Pixlings

Unia's gem is a five-pointed star, which she has repeated on her top, along with molded stars on her wings and shoes, and shiny silver stars and moons printed on her skirt. I'm not personally aware of any star/space association inherent to unicorns that would prompt this.

(it's also no longer the case, but I swear it was once that on Moose Toys website, the product images file names of Unia named her as 'Celeste', as in 'celestial' aka 'heavenly')

(similarly, the link to the Shimmerverse announcement page on youloveit lists Catlyn's name as Starla, and though that's not repeated anywhere else, I do think it's interesting)

Catlyn has similar space theming to Unia, with an eight-pointed star as her gem, which is repeated once again on her top, shoes, and printed on her skirt. She even has the exact same style of skirt as Unia, with the top tulle layer printed with a star pattern, just in gold this time. Coincidence? Probably.

Again, I'm unclear why the cat character has such a strong star theming, which may have extended to even her name at one point.

Nebula is an obvious one. We don't know for sure what kind of creature she is, I'm still guessing dragonfly just to be contrary, but she is HEAVILY space/starry themed. From her name, to her star-printed skirt, molded stars on her wings, her astronomical-themed top, and her diamond gem actually being subtly eight-pointed, on her top and her forehead. It really makes her seem like an alien, despite the random presence of wings and dragonflies on her shoes. Her hair also glows in the dark, for added night-time starry vibes.

And then there's these girls, found for sale on Taobao. I've seen speculation that these are prototypes for larger, perhaps more fashion doll scale Pixlings, although honestly the heads look about the same size as the normal Pixlings to me based on these images. Regardless, if these are examples of real products that will be released at some point, they have identical spots for three crescent moon shapes as their forehead gems.

In summary, I dunno man. Seems kinda random to me.
