#mac the houndstone

ok so mac the greavard in paldea ends up evolving into houndstone while he’s in hisui. and houndstone is known as the most loyal dog pokemon right?

well when fae gets plucked to go back home by arceus they only get to take their team with them because they aren’t given the choice. so the pokemon that are in jubilife village get left behind.

and for the most part the pokemon are released back to the wild. a few stay in the village and are taken in by villagers.

but mac keeps waiting for them, keeps his pokeball, only sees fae as his trainer. as a ghost type he can wait as long as need be for fae to show up, and professor laventon’s kids end up taking mac with them and down the family line as he continues to wait for fae to one day be reunited with him.

and ofc this does happen!! it’s right after fae returns, and the descendant that’s been taking care of mac is watching the news and suddenly fae’s on the news and mac is loosing it. very happily loosing it! and that’s when the person realizes the family legend about who mac really belongs to is true, and they help mac reunite with fae

Mac McDonald Pokemon team 🐶

Mabosstiff (it looks like Mac) - Mabosstiff loves playing with children. Though usually gentle, it takes on an intimidating look when protecting its family.

Machamp (traded with Charlie to evolve) - It can knock a train flying with a punch. However, it is terrible at delicate work using its fingers.

Houndstone (Poppins) - A lovingly mourned Pokémon was reborn as Houndstone. It doesn't like anyone touching the protuberance atop its head.

Pangoro - It boasts superb physical strength. Those who wish to become Pangoro's Trainer have no choice but to converse with their fists.

Salandit (shiny male, he thinks it will evolve one day) - The males will do whatever the females tell them. They give the females most of their food. Due to malnutrition, the males can’t evolve.

Pinsir (caught at bug catching contest with Charlie) - It grips prey with its pincers until the prey is torn apart. What it can't tear, it tosses far away.
