"It's a pleasure to finally meet you, your grace" the princess curtsied as she offered him a warm smile. The idea of an arranged marriage was one she thought would take place for her sisters, but it turned out she was closer in age to the other and her sisters were both already betrothed. So it fell to her to marry for peace, it was odd to think that one day their child would sit on both thrones, but she was getting ahead of herself.

The yellow clad redhead rose back to her full height of 5,0 and looked at the man she was to marry, he was handsome, and she liked his eyes. Perhaps this union would not be so scary "would you like to sit? I should like to get to know you before you return home" this would likely be the last time they met before the wedding took place and she wished to know all about him.

somber eyes starred at nothing in particular, fingers idly playing with the hem of her sleeve. damned corsets, she thought to herself as she sucked in a breath before slowly letting it go. her other hand coming to brace her belly. the familiar plop of horse hooves pulled her from her thoughts, viridian orbs now lining with tears as her family's fleeting carriage came into view. she supposed she understood the meaning of all of this. to make their species stronger, some voo-doo witch bitch would preform some sort of matrimonial, magical ritual ── just like a normal wedding, the witch had said ── that would unite their bloodlines. ultimately, making their respective packs ( and the werewolf species as a whole ) stronger. but no matter how much she understood her father's reasoning for pawning her off, it didn't hurt any less. and it didn't stop the tears that now slowly streamed down her cheeks as she continued to watch her family's entourage get smaller and smaller, leaving her behind.

hayley had left the door to her room open, originally in too much of a hurry to make sure she was were she stood now. so, it didn't startle her when she felt his presence in her doorway, smelt him in the room even though he'd barely stepped foot in it. as discreetly as she could, the wolf wiped the fallen tears from her face before turning to the prince. a smile, fake but sweet, plastered on her lips, as she bowed her head to him. ❝ your highness... ── i wanted to make sure i saw them leave. ❞ as if she didn't really believe they would until this moment. @luposcainus / liked this for a starter !!

Transforming into Man-Bat is a very painful experience for Kirk as not only does it involve rapid cellular mutation, his bones also undergo a drastic change, shifting and warping somewhere between human and bat. The pain he undergoes is one of the last things he experiences before the serum takes over his consciousness as the change goes from physical to mental. Teeth shatter and are replaced by new fangs, deadly and razor sharp. Legs splinter and elongate as do forearms and fingers, new skin emerging between digits as wings fill in. It's a very rapid transformation that takes less than a minute, which makes for a very unhappy Man-Bat when he finally emerges on the other end, body aching all over after turning from an average-height male human to a nearly nine foot tall vampire bat-monster.
