I’m honestly enjoying The Starry Love so far. I didn’t think I would see xianxia and comedy together, but here we are. I always get to laugh every episode.

 Although the drama has two main couples, I don’t really feel one overshadows the other. I think they’re doing a good job of integrating their respective stories into the main plot.

Rewatching The Starry Love is really interesting, because I am seeing all of the hints of the three shards in Youqin. First he refuses to buy her the bone flute, claiming immortals can't own things from other realms (which is bull), and when Yetan says "you mean you're PENNILESS?" he looks like he just swallowed a bug

Tens of thousands of years ago, the gods sealed off Hell itself. The seal was not permanent, and over the millennia it has been the fate of the god known as the Empyrian to sacrifice himself and use his life to renew the seal.

When the Queen of the human world gave birth to twin girls, the realms of Heaven and the Void both celebrated. The twins were said to be the reincarnation of an ancient force- with one twin blessed in peace and love, and the other cursed with darkness and cruelty.
