Oooh how about some yandere headcanons of Tang , Redson and Azure lion with a reader who’s very reckless? They’re always throwing themselves into danger whenever the team is fighting, and reader just insists they’re trying to help. Please if not no worries XD

Sure thing! Also, I think I’m going to grind out a few more requests before I wipe my inbox. I let it grow shamefully out of care during my hiatuses. Then I’ll open up Character x Character (still platonic) requests for a while.

“Y/N, I find that I have warned you many times about this kind of behavior…”

You look up to the leonine demon with a frown, gripping one of your upper arms as a form of self-support. How many times have you heard this lecture? How many times would you hear it in the future? Every time that you so much as try to help him in a fight, you’re sat down for this same spiel.

But you don’t remember him ever being this stern. In fact, he seems-

“Cub,” the lion says, carefully taking your chin between two massive fingers. He says it pointedly, as though preemptively arguing his stance- you’re young and small, still a child to him. One he sees as worthy of his love and protection, even if you might try to reject it.

“Y-yes, Azure?”

“I would like you to pay close attention when I’m talking to you, please.”

Even upset, the demon remains polite and gentle, if rather firm. His fingers are soft to the touch, claws carefully sheathed. He’s never used them against you, not even once. Nor has he even threatened you with them.

His massive hand shifts to your hair, stroking the unruly strands back into place. His metacarpal pad squishes into your cheek, and you can’t help but lean into it, savoring the brief moment of warmth he offers during this long scolding.

“It seems I must switch my methods- clearly, my words will continue to fall on deaf ears if I continue down this path.”

Azure outright scruffs you- snags you by the cape attached to your pauldrons and lifts until your feet leave the ground.

“Come along, cub,” the lion says, as though you have a choice at the moment. All you can do is dangle from his blue-furred hand and try not to squirm, hoping that your cape won’t rip and sending you tumbling.

The training grounds are a familiar sight, hours and hours spent here together, learning all of Azure’s skills.

He presses a wooden training blade into your hands, then takes up one of his own.

“If I cannot teach you, perhaps a full day of training will. We will be sparring from this moment to your bedtime,” he sternly informs, a blush creeping up your face at his final word. That your mentor saw you as so young that he enforced a strict bedtime was…

Well, you tried to tell yourself it was reasonable. After all, if you were growing stronger and exhausting your body, you’d need lots of rest, wouldn’t you?

Didn’t justify the constant checking on you through the night, tucking you in every time the blankets come loose, and ensuring that all the windows were shut and locked.

And you had no doubt that was where you’d end up, exhausted and face-down on your bed, letting Azure gingerly knead out your aching muscles with his massive paws.

But all of that was for later. For now?

You had a full eight hours of training ahead.

“No.”

“Wuh- what the hell do you mean, no?! I haven’t said anything yet!”

“And the answer is still no, brat.”

This is the most frequent conversation you and Red Son seem to have, constant preemptive denial of whatever scheme you’re dreaming up.

He’s viciously protective of you, serving as an ever-vigilant guard. Not only is your every move tracked and monitored, but your actions are under constant and fierce scrutiny.

“I see you went to that cheese tea stall, Y/N. After I told you that you weren’t allowed to go.”

“Red, they moved it to the inner city! It’s way safer there, so all your arguments before don’t even matter anymore!”

“…hmph. I suppose I’ll let this slide, then. But I’m not going to be so merciful next time.”

Constant restrictions on where you go and what you do, which could theoretically be lessened to some degree, if only you’d just stop being such a damn fool.

To him, your actions are proof of immaturity, preventing Red Son from genuinely trusting you or letting loose the stranglehold grip he’s taken on your life.

To you? You are genuinely just trying to help the people you love, if a bit recklessly.

But Red doesn’t see it that way, and even when you try to make a convincing argument as to why he should, it’s promptly shot down.

So with debate and brute force both proving pointless in changing his mind, you switch to stealth and subterfuge instead. Expect to get caught about fifty percent of the time, then forced back inside and placed under lock and key.

He loves you, dammit! Why do you have to be so stupid?! Why do you have to try and sneak out?! Why can’t he love any other idiotic mortal around?!

Why does it have to be you?

Red Son can’t imagine that he’ll ever find out why he came to cherish someone as small and weak and stupid as you… but he does.

And since he can’t force himself to stop caring, he’ll just have to impose harsher and harsher restrictions until you finally submit to his care.

Maybe then he’ll finally be able to berate thoroughly talk you out of your heroic ‘delusions’. Maybe you’ll crack and break down, finally discouraged from your kindness.

Just this once, he’ll let you cry into his shoulder.

It’s the least he can do for the person he loves most.

Oh, this poor man. Weak ankles, frail body, fragile heart. You are not doing him any favors by acting recklessly.

“Y/N, NO! Put that down! You- you can’t just go around swinging random swords- stop spinning it!”

“It’s fine, Mister Tang! Mei’s been teaching me!”

“Teaching you to what?! Get yourself killed as quickly as possible?!”

Yeah, he’s constantly on the verge of falling apart. Given that the scholar genuinely just wants to keep you safe and sound, it’s absolutely nerve-wracking for him to deal with you.

Expect him to turn to the Noodlefam for help eventually. Given that they cherish Tang as much as he cherishes them, it’s not hard to rally them into lending him a hand.

He’ll speak to MK about the whole matter, talking him into keeping an eye out for you. He might even convince the young hero to whip up a clone to keep surveillance on you, trying it’s hardest to keep you out of trouble.

As for Pigsy, well… if Tang sees you as a child, let’s be honest- so does the chef. Man has a ladle locked and loaded for the backside of your head, and a sharp remand to go with the sting. “Enough messing around, Y/N! Put the damn sword down and help me with these dumplings already!” And at his words you reluctantly clamber down from the windowsill you were crawling over, settling back at the counter to help the porcine demon prep a meal.

All three of them together have zero issue with keeping you under control, but Tang is clearly the most dedicated here, and sometimes on his own in tending to the matter.

You have to sit through hours of scoldings and lectures. When he’s finally done trying to impart upon you why what you’ve done is dangerous, Tang sends you off to bed with his worried words ringing in your ears.

He’ll stop by to tuck you in, of course. Even when caught in the maddening throes of obsession is Tang kind, always looking to dote on you in some way.

There’s definitely worse people to be dealing with, at least.

Azure Lion

He in denial that he is a Yandere.

He meets you while he is in his years of mourning for his friends, befriends you, and falls in love with you.

Manipulates you into thinking all he wants is your safety.

Is weirdly obsessed with you sitting on his lap.

He ends up making himself believe he doesn't want you to contact anyone else is because he has trust issues because of Wukong and Macaque.

Yeah, sure.

Regardless, he is gentle with you.

He does try to pressure you into having children with him though.

If Wukong every touches you, he will try to kill Wukong.

Peng

The most insane out of the entire group.

They are like Wukong, falls in love with you on sight and kidnaps you.

Unlike Wukong though, they isn't going to lock you in a cave and hide you as their secret little toy no no no

They put you on a fucking collar and leash and has you crawl on your hands and knees and follow him.

Brags to the other members about you and encourage them to touch you.

In their mind, it doesn't matter because they know you are only theirs and him giving him friends permission to touch you proves it.

Will spit in your mouth and says they are watering you.

Like putting their hands around your neck and saying they'll kill you just to see your scared face

If you die, they'll put you in this room where all their's previous darlings are and dress you up like a doll.

Yellowtusk

He's a recovering Yandere. Knows he's a yandere and is trying to correct himself.

He warns you when you enter a relationship with him. He is the only yandere that if you ever call him out on his behaviour, he will actually listen and correct himself.

If you break up with him, he makes his friends hold him accountable and he's serious about it.

He is very protective of you, and that includes of himself. He doesn't want his tusk to hurt you.

Unlike Peng, he doesn't want others touching you but he tries to hold in his possessiveness. He does communicate to you he doesn't like it and appreciates it when you go out of your way to not touch other people.

When you wear something scandals, he tries to keep himself in his chair and not touch you.

He views you as a price of artwork.

The thing that will make him go full yandere again is if he sees someone hurt you.

You will end up being covered in the blood of whoever hurt you.

Well… Azure had no intention of chatting with Wukong until he was the emperor yet… good… And then, he knows how strong Wukong is, so a crazy Wukong? NaN. luckily, you haven’t been running without lost, you wanted to reach your old village, the place you called home and the only way you could be happy. you knew that you couldn’t stay there for long but you could find some pointers and maybe say goodbye or take some of your close family with you.

when you reached the towns gate, you cried. wet salty tears falling down your face in your freedom, when you were let in and shown to your parents. you didn’t even care about the messy state you were in, hugging your family members though your body was was ached and your sores and feet bloody.

“sweetheart”, they asked. “where did you go where were you”.

you told them your story, how you were taken because this higher being was infatuated with you, how you were stripped of your humanity and dignity, and how you were told to that you guys belonged together. but you escaped, he was hurt and was planning something and you took the moment to run.

your family seemed, scared. they knew that you weren’t safe, so they asked you to go to bed and they will figure everything out, you were too tired to fight back, to tell them what to do, you couldn’t save them.

and when you woke, your family was gone and the only thing remained was fire. you sat up urgently in your bed, your former room enveloped by flames, you quickly ran through the house, coughing but still searching for your parents throughout the remains, before you knew you were yanked out the house, someone pulled you and when you looked you saw it was one of your old friends. he had knew you were in the house and come to save you.

“where are my parents!” you screamed, he looked at you sadly, “the entire village is in flames, if there not in there, I don’t know.” tears started to flow again, your throat swelled up and you couldn’t believe this. but then, it got worse, you heard a voice from behind you. soft, but demanding. a voice you recognized to only be azures.

“darling, I finally found you!” you were pulled in a tight hug, “I’m sorry about your village but I needed to find you, to keep you safe.” you felt like screaming but nothing came out, you looked at your old friend who turned to you in fear, but ran in terror, but you knew it was going to be towards his death. you had done this, you. you in a way to get your own five minutes of freedom, and now he had killed your family, he had burned your village to the ground. and now he is the reason you have no home.

the light you had was finally extinguished. and is replaced by unruly fear and anger.

YANDERE AZURE LION

Ok so it is clear as day that canon Azure is head over heels for Wukong and after getting betrayed *cough cough* AKA rejected *cough cough* he plotted a way t o get Wukong back. EVEN IF THAT MEANT SEALING HIM A STICK AND CARING HIM AROUND LIKE A DAMN ACCESSORY!!!! Yandere Azure confirmed?!?!?

Any way attack heaven was more then likely Azure's idea in the beginning and something he convinced Wukong into. So that make sense why Azure, Peng, and Yellow Tusk were sealed away and Azure more then likely knew no way was he getting redemption. But you know WHO was closest with Wukong? Who openly said attack heaven was a dumb idea? Who was more then likely only when along with everyone because of Wukong? Who still believed and trusted Wukong after he betrayed the brotherhood? MACAQUE! Personally after the flashbacks of season 4 I don't understand why Macaque didn't get a redemption arc with Wukong. I think if if Wukong just explained what happened with the Jade Emperor and his mission with Tripitaka....Tong.....MONK BOI (yes) then Macaque would have understood, gave an "I told you so", and then JOINING THE JOURNEY TO THE WEST!

But why didn't this happen..........AZURE YOU LYING BITCH! No way in hell was he letting MACAQUE get a happily ever after the Wukong and more they likely always had a plan to get Macaque out of the way. He wanted to ruin shadowpeach for good and probably figured out that Wukong was make friends on TJTTW and lied to Macaque say Monk Boi had tricked SWK and enslaved him and was now torturing him with the fillet. All lies but Macaque believed his brother and ran off to save SWK only after he saw Macaque attack his new friend Wukong that Macaque had completed turned against him. Kill Macaque was purely an accident.

Loyalty (Possessive Azure x Wukong)

TW: Toxic Mindset, Toxic Relationship, and Jealousy.

A/N: Just Azure being an loyal boy

Hearing the faint calling of his name, down the caves, the demonic lion quickly fetched the basket filled with fresh peaches, and ran inside the place.

It didn't take him moments, No, Just a few mere seconds to even arrive to the supposive location.

Azure, happily did any bidding for the upcoming ruler of the Jade Palace, or the new ruler if their plan ever succeeded.

If he was bold enough, Maybe he could even call himself the right hand man, of his Monkie king— even more loyal than Macaque, as that monkey would constantly question his liege's actions but not him though! Azure wouldn't dare to talk behind Wukong.

"Azure, bud! What took ya so long?" The voice of his beloved king spoke so lazily and effortlessly but no one could blame his attitude.

Clearly he was just tired of always training and trying to take over the Jade Palace was no joke.

The lion did take a few good moments, to pick up the best peaches, but he tried to find perfect ripe ones, and no dents, not even sour ones.

"Sorry Wukong. I'll be faster next time."

For him, It would be mere treason to even hesitant for just a millisecond, to the orders, given to him by Wukong. If the royal highness, desired him to do a task, It would be done in a few simple strokes, no commotion, no retorts; Just a nod, to get the job finished.

His loyalty to him knows no bounds.

Handing over the peach, the white-furred lion happily watches the Monkie King eating it, the juices from the peach dripping down his chin. Oh, how Azure was intently eyeing it.

"Is there anything else you wish of me?" Rubbing his paws on the demon's shoulder, gave him a message but was just a facade to feel Wukong's ginger-hued fur, so soft and try to satisfy wanting to touch every nook and cranny of his beloved.

"Mhm, Not at the moment. I and Macaque will head somewhere though"

Azure, refrained from almost clawing Wukong, and stopped himself from sinking his claws deep inside the Monkey King— He had no right to hurt him, but the thought of someone else having Wukong's attention, really irked him.

How he longed to pull Wukong away and stare intently into his eyes, his claws deep within him and wanting to demand or beg his king to stay with him instead.

He doesn't even need to take over the Jade Emperor, they could just stay in a place somewhere, only the two of them, with Azure always on his knees, groveling at Wukong's every beck and call.

Instead, all he could have said was

"That's nice. Just enjoy your trip with him."

His voice was a nice per say, but someone with heightened hearing would sense, his words were dripping with disdain as if seeing his highness was a mere hindrance now.

Those were decades ago, there interaction was deeply missed by Azure. He oftened pondered to himself day after day, what would have happened if he actually chose to take Wukong, right there and then.

He wouldn't be happy, that would be obvious from the start but it was better dealing with a non cooperative Wukong than, not having him at all.

How he yearns, to touch his fur and whisper sweet nothings into his ear.

Now, his beloved majesty was chained underneath into mountain, for hundreds of years to even come.

The demonic lion, stared longingly at the mountain, always figuring out ways to destroy or atleast try to release his Majesty.

He knows Wukong is underneath there somewhere, but he just couldn't visit or be able to see him.

'Even if the heavens above cast you, I will always live to serve you.'

Therefore, he waited and waited, even if it took an eternity.

It seems as if the writer has intentionally simplified their writing style to be more casual and easily readable. Several words have been crossed out and replaced with simpler synonyms. The sender must see you as being rather young. There are strange runes on the ground around the note- it must’ve been sent by some form of magic.)

My brave little cub, I hope this letter finds you well. All is well with my sworn brothers and I, of course. We grow stronger by the day, all in the name of forging a better future, for ourselves and everyone else. There is not an hour that goes by when I do not think of you. Are you eating well, my cub? And keeping quenched from thirst? Please, you must take good care of yourself. Your papa would never forgive himself if you fell ill all and he was not around to tend to you. In another week I’ll return to visit you. Only a little while longer, cub. I’ll be bringing your uncles along, too. They haven’t seen you for a while, and have long looked forward to seeing how much you’ve grown.

I’ll make us all something to eat together, then.

Please, forgive me for not writing more often. My greatest fear is that an enemy may find you when I am far away. Every time I send a letter, I significantly greatly shift the runes used to keep them from being tracked. I know you are lonely, my little one. It shames hurts me that I am not around more often. I know it hurts you, too.

But not much longer, now. I swear it to you. We’ll have ourselves a hug and a long chat, and then you can sleep in my bed. It will be like I never left.

He finally gets his friends back and they are new people who you are allowed to talk to.

You bond to them very quickly because you have been deprived from social interactions for so long.

And Peng is just a flirt.

Azure doesn't notice because he's too happy his friends are back.

You get close and cuddly with Peng.

I think he'd only noticed when he is holding all of the Emperor's power, he can't hold his form and he sees you on Peng's lap.

Will pull you by your hair off of Peng and kill Peng right then and there.

Now you get KFC for dinner.

Now, I feel like MK is fine at first, but it really depends on what season we are talking about.

He’s probably very sweet during the first season, showing off what Monkey King taught him to impress you. Probably stumbles and embarrasses himself a few times.

Maying even is far more conflicted on giving up his “invincibility” because he is worried it might make you less interested in him.

He mostly just wants to impress you. He’s excited and wants you to be just as impressed by his powers as he is!

Then the insecurity worsens as time goes on…

At first, he just wanted to show off. But as time goes on and he feels as though the Monkey King chose the wrong mentor…he begins to feel as though he needs to work twice as hard to even be worthy of you.

He puts you on almost the same level of importance as his mentor (if not more) and generally put you on a pedestal as time goes on.

Then the Lady Bone Demon attacks. Officially, that is.

As you all look for the Samadhi fire, MK is practically stitched to your side.

You’re his first priority and when Macaque attacks, it may go much worse than what happened originally in the show.

…Macaque doesn’t make it out with a lack of scars that will permanently paint his body after threatening to harm you.

Now, after defeating the Lady Bone Demon, MK becomes a bit…obsessed with the idea of destiny. More than he should.

He sees it now…maybe…just maybe…it’s destiny for you two to be together.

I’m going to skip to the Ink MK battle because I’m lazy.

Actually, Ink MK approaches you. And you’re confused as the ink creature begins to go on deranged rants about how you’re his and that you’re perfect and how he’s the only one who can protect you.

It’s…horrifying, to say the least. The creature barely even tries to hurt you, instead trying to pull you close, almost breaking your arms with its strength.

When MK defeats it, he seems to truth and distance himself for the first time.

While talking to Macaque, MK mentions his unhealthy obsession with you.

Macaque tries to help and MK leaves, feeling like he’s better. He feels like he can control his feelings now.

MK is wrong.

When he turns into his monkey form, he becomes…more sadistic. More deranged. Like a wild animal out for blood.

No one noticed this until Azure Lion was defeated and MK…was still in his monkey form.

He began to laugh maniacally and look towards you, his sharp canines gleaming in his golden light.

Luckily, you and his friends managed to make him come to his senses, and you all weren’t harmed…too badly.

Finally, MK was normal! He could go back to his happy life with his friends! When you all went to the beach, he finally felt at peace!

…but were the dark desires inside him really destroyed?
