Legacies Opinions 3x15: In a Galaxy Far, Far Away: Catharsis

Hello, my lovely readers! Who wants to dive into to what happened in Thursday's epi. of Legacies?

So, there was more than a bit of a cliffhanger for the last epi. of Legacies. And a lot of you might be wondering how we went from pandas to Darth freakin' Vader? Well, getting dosed by a pissed off witch might be a clue for our heroes.

What's with the Star Wars knock-off, you might ask: turns out eleven-year-old Lizzie wrote some fanfic. Now, her secret is out. She's a big old geek! Ha! Welcome to the club.

(Side note: I do not know much about sci-fi, and am not the biggest fan of the last Star Wars films. Sorry. Don't mean to offend any die-hard fans out there. It just wasn't my thing. So, I might not get a lot of things that happened in the epi.)

Jo turns out to be an android in this epi. Oh, Lizzie, you did not do that! While Lizzie was a princess and Hope a scavenger. We are reminded of the difficult times that these three girls had as children, and how far they have come as individuals, and as friends. It's a really sweet moment for these three as they work through their problems, together. Truly a cathartic moment and worth watching if you like Hizzie, or Hosie, as friends, or more.

But Lizzie, Jo, and Hope are not the only friends who had work to do in this epi. MG returned to the Salvatore School to a welcoming committee, all except for Kaleb.

It takes Ric sending MG and Kaleb on a mission to end the wendigo of the last epi, of the last epi., to force the two friends to bond once more. This is not easy when Kaleb invites Jed to join them. But, in the end they kill the monster, and all is well, even for Jed.

Again, some of us might feel Landon's absence and he's not going to be happy if someone alerts him to the Star Wars trip Hope, Jo, and Lizzie went on, without him.

As for ships: We have a new one. Sort of. Lizthan? Ethan made a guest starring appearance in Lizzie's story, and they shared a kiss. Does that mean anything? Don't know. Does Jo's displeasure at that interaction mean anything? Don't know. Does Hope's eye-rolling and annoyance mean anything? Well, it is Hope and she pretty much reacts to a lot of things that way, so...

For all you Emma Tig fans out there, the witchy teacher popped up for a guest spot. Personally, I am always happy to see Emma return.

Finally, some of you might have been wondering why Ryan Clarke kept showing up... Love him, or hate him: He's back. Fresh from the shower and still smirking until someone kicks his ass. Probably Hope. Maybe. We'll have to wait for the season finale, next week, June, 24 2021.
