- David O. Russell will direct as-yet untitled film

Selena Gomez is set to play Linda Ronstadt in an as-yet-untitled biopic of the “You’re No Good” singer, Variety reports.

The magazine did not say whether Gomez will sing or lip-synch to Ronstadt’s singular voice.

No other casting decisions have been disclosed for the movie, which is in the pre-production stage and set to be directed by David O. Russell.

Co-producers include Ronstadt’s manager, John Boylan, and James Keach, who produced the 2019 documentary “Linda Ronstadt: The Sound of My Voice.”
