There are many actors who have given interviews and who felt uncomfortable with some questions. look for Benicio Del Toro. Some questions are pre-arranged, others are not. I don't think he was uncomfortable that much, I think he wanted to be asked about other things.

he's trying to do promo instead of his uncooperative client, ok, give him a break!🤣❤️>> Maybe he gets some costume credit, even though the costume designer is an Emmy-winning Asian woman.
Yeah I don’t think it has to do with this, the reason is seb is his client

they save founds for project they chose to promote and these projects usually (not always) come out between sept and dec / well... don't give me hope 😭😭😭😭😭
Ahahha i mean … finger crossed but there is a reason why despite premiering at the beginning of the year it will be released in sept

Forgot to add one thing. I've said this bc A24 is releasing other projects but (maybe I'm wrong, idk) I don't feel like they're putting effort into promoting them like they did for LLB, that's why I said I expected something more. Even for Civil War, ie. I mean... they're not wasting money on them bc they know NONE of these projects is award material?
Yeah i think so, they save founds for project they chose to promote and these projects usually (not always) come out between sept and dec

isn't it...a norm? For non-awards season projects, as mod said. / yeah but somehow I expected something more? Even from the audience, I saw some viral tweets about it and then nothing. I guess I had higher expectations considering how they promoted it BEFORE the release.
Eh i know but they have to make choices… if the movie wont drive them somewhere, awards speaking, this is the treatment it receives

as soon as the movie had been released in theaters they stopped with the promo / isn't it...a norm? For non-awards season projects, as mod said. Back when it was premiering, it seemed like the promo was super active and diverse, especially for someone with tight budgets.
Yeah exactly, non awards stuff so it is normal

Is it just me or A24 could've promoted better Love Lies Bleeding? I saw it's already on some streaming platform and as soon as the movie had been released in theaters they stopped with the promo. (What I'm implying is: I hope they do better with ADM!!!)
Eh i think it’s because it’s definitely not oscars material
Saw it yesterday btw

Why are they posting this? It's like they're closet Seb antis and are trying to turn off potential new fans. //
Kinda off topic but there are plenty of Seb fans on twitter who have a sort of passive aggressive behaviour and/or sometimes seem more like antis then fans (not to mention those ones who are dramatic af). I swear, there are a few who I can tolerate and that are actually reasonable.
Being dramatic is a personality trait you find often in (this) fandoms

Seriously, why post a screenshot of Ellie's fb post!? These "fans" are the reason why Seb gets judged harshly compared to his peers and why he left IG and will not ever return.
It’s a twitter trend, people in fandom posting pics of moments that got them “fighting in trenches”
I would have avoided posting Facebook screenshots
I also find it hilarious that in those trends most of the pics are him next to women that we don’t even know who they were for him or the first pics taken with his then gf basically showing that even before being considered problematic, the girlfriend was seen as a threat

"he could’ve required that he not answer questions about it." This is not reality. Could maybe RDJ do that? Sure because VF or Variety or whoever will send him a writer he likes and do a nice feature whenever he wants./ Yes. I think it depends on the publication or interviewer as to how much control they have over the questions. In 2015 RDJ walked out on an interview when they began asking him questions about his past drug use. Some interviews are soft and controlled, like late night talk shows, but others less so.

Actors in general do not get any input on what they will or won't talk about to media. // It’s extremely common for actors to get questions about who they’re dating (especially if the SO is another actor or celebrity), yet Seb never gets asked those types of questions. Coincidence… or more likely Seb has made that topic off-limits.
Yeah

"I think they can ask to know the topics and also ask to avoid certain questions" Generally, the core topics are set up in advance--that's how they get the interview, but no, most people don't get to know the questions or get to say, "don't ask about this," unless it is a very specific type of celebrity softball media, like People. If it's media reporters that work for journalism outlets or even someone big in entertainment (like Colbert), very few people get to set the rules for an interview. There are a lot of celebs out there. There's always someone else for them to interview if you try step into their lane and control things.

Male nude scenes are always talking points. Pine did full frontal in that one movie and expressed how shocked he was that was all anyone wanted to talk to him about in interviews. /
For A Different Man, without spoiling anything, the nudity in the scene is overshadowed by what’s actually happening in the scene (at least to me). The content in general is divisive/interesting enough I doubt the nudity will be brought up much. Case in point: we’re had several Q and As and it’s not come up yet.

https://www.tumblr.com/anothersebastianblog/748807644427452416/smiling-at-my-phone-like-a-fool-while-watching?source=share / god this used to be one of my favorite Seb accounts. I unfollowed them alongside many other Seb accounts last year when I realized they were inactive. I miss the fandom pre p&t, I feel like many people left during that time /
But their last retweets are from february this year and it's them being happy about Seb winning in Berlin, I feel like sometimes you're still enjoying someone's work but not in the fandom. I am a fan of several people but I'm not part of their fandoms, I enjoy them on my own, and actually, I used to have a Seb fan account too and I left it around 6 months ago because honestly we barely have content of him these days so it becomes boring (at least to me)

Sometimes you guys talk like he was in direct charge of promo/production choices 🥹// He’s not in charge but he’s also not beholden to the whims of whatever choices promo makes without any input. If he felt strongly about it, he could’ve required that he not answer questions about it. That doesn’t absolve the various outlets that ONLY asked about that and nothing else—but it was an easily predictable outcome that could’ve been avoided if they, for example, really wanted to focus the narrative on the injustice to Pam instead of salaciousness.
