People act like Wukong killing Macaque in shadowpeach makes their relationship irredeemable or toxic or whatever, and that goes against the message of the source material.

If you want to stay in Lego monkie land and pretend that show isn't based on anything, fine. But every decision the writers make is based on a chapter of JTTW either their own interpretation or playing around with ideas or whatever. If you wanna act like that connection doesn't exist? It's disrespectful to me to act like Wukong is a villain for killing Macaque - that goes against his entire story. Wukong isn't a perfect angel, even now. He's not the best mentor to MK, he's made mistakes, he's lied, he's manipulated people.

Do not come into my house and be on the Wukong defense squad. He doesn't need your defense. You want to defend him so that your ship isn't seen as "toxic." But Macaque isn't an angel either. Oh my god that post about great pyrs going around is giving me hives. Do not just get a great Pyrenees and expect it to be a perfect fam9ly dog. They DO have a job and that job is ripping the shit out of anything or anyone they perceive as a threat! That includes other random people if you don't fucking socialize them a lot as puppies! This includes vet staff, groomers, and 4he guy you invited into your home to fix your dishwasher. They're also super prone to orthopedic disease and like any large breed will die much earlier than smaller dogs on average. And the amount of bone cancer is A Lot. I have had multiple great pyr patients waste away before age 4 from bone cancer. It's horrific and an extremely painful cancer. They also need constant brushing. If you do not want to brush your dog you should not get this dog.

They can be great dogs of course! But like a lot of bigger breeds you have to be prepared for and research the exact ins and outs of this breed. And a livestock guardian dog is a WORKING BREED. just because it is not a german shepherd or border collie does not mean it does not need an outlet for the job we have literally been making them for for 100s of years. If you also do not have the time or energy or resources to give this dog exercise you should also not get one. Don't just listen to random anecdotal posts about specialized giant working breeds dogd and why everyone should get one oh my god.

Research breed temperament, health issues, and their actual purpose please I've seen so many massive pyrs try to take my coworkers faces off or had owners shocked when their pyr has arthritis at 7 or tries to kill the neighbors dog.
