wishing every day that I knew what PCOS was as a young teen and that yes indeed it does fall under the intersex umbrella, cause it would have saved me years of silently wondering if I was intersex because I knew very deeply that I was not “typical,” and also wishing that the moment I was diagnosed with PCOS I wasn’t shamed for being “improperly female” and pushed toward feminizing hormone therapy and medication that my body literally couldn’t tolerate, especially because I was transmasc anyway.
