I just had a thought. What if we the viewer lived with Wally (could literally us being married friends what ever) but we also love yellow guy (bc who doesn't) but we get mad and this scenario happens but Wally is able to calm is down.
Wally: where are you going *cleaning up his coffee mess*
Y/n: to either get ice cream for lil guy, or commit murder I'll decide when I'm portal hopping.
Just a funny ha ha it's apart of the comic you wrote. I also had to get this off my chest before I forget!!!
sorry this took forever! here's part 2 hehe.

Jamie's whole thing in that scene, the heartfelt sincere apologies, the sweater paws, the looking up at Roy with big sincere eyes, he IS baby
his apologetic demeanor and big sad beautiful eyes have enchanted and bewitched me it's true

today i am thinking about the parallels between ozai & azula + asami & hiroshi + shiv & logan and how these fucked up father/daughter dynamics are actually all so similar to one another—the powerful king and his perfect princess. except asami was actually as smart and moral as shiv likes to think she is, which is why she ultimately did take over as ceo and “won” the game, by refusing to accept hiroshi’s empty promises. neither of the avatar dynamics go remotely as in-depth as the incredibly written relationship between shiv & logan, which has always been a pet peeve of mine (perhaps not in regards to ozai & azula, since considering their position in the narrative, there is more than enough subtext regarding their family to infer their motivations, but definitely regarding asami, whose relationship to her father deserved to be more fleshed out on screen), but they do present an interesting case of diverging paths shiv could’ve gone down: there’s the path of becoming completely isolated from everyone remotely close to her and the consequent breakdown, and there’s the fully resisting temptation and corruption despite his lifetime of emotional manipulation and chauvinistic favoritism. with the ending of s3, it seems like shiv has found herself somewhere in the middle; she’s still standing, but then again, so is her father.

Red Hood & Arsenal is about Jason going through shit mentally, about how he wants to help people SO BAD, he wants to be a hero SO BAD, he wants to be Batman, he wants to help kids LIKE HIM, he wants to DO GOOD, but he feels like shit, he doesn't feel good enough like his family is, and he tries, he tries to help this teenager, angry and hurt just like he was, he wants to help her SO BAD, but it doesn't succeed, and he takes it as a sign that there's no hope for him, that he isn't good, he cannot be good, he cannot be a hero, and Roy is using all their money to build weapons, not helping in the slightest.

What will happen first, Ed getting Roy not to kill Ling, or Roy killing Ling?
