Coming back to Tumblr has made me realize how much this website influenced me growing up. I was very isolated as a teenager. Due to health issues, I was too frail to go to school, so the family house in a small town was my understanding of the world (and my childhood dog who passed away two years ago).

With no one to talk to and too much time on my hands, I learned languages, gamed like crazy, and consumed all sorts of media. Then, I learned that some manga scanlators posted on Tumblr and I hopped to this site. It didn't take long to get sucked into the culture of it all, with a community for every hyper fixation imaginable. Within the vacuum of an empty home, Tumblr became a frustrating teacher in identity politics, privilege, and oppression. I hated community leaders and their inability to recognize the struggles of Latinas (e.g. being unable to take any emotional space, much less admit hardship, in any relationship), the physically disabled (e.g. how difficult certain diagnoses are), and LGBTQ+ women (e.g. the disparity between the popularity of WLW media and MLM media). I think it's largely because of my frustration that the lesbinuns and la familia came about.

With my content and community, I prioritize the comfort of these groups as they are underserved online. Many digital spaces have improved since I was in my early teens, but nothing makes me happier than when Latinx or WLW viewers pop in and can feel as though they're comfortable and safe.

I speak English, Spanish, Korean, and Japanese! I love to study languages. Even though I'm a native Spanish speaker, I took many Spanish language courses to better understand the history and structure of Latin American Spanish.

I've been nocturnal since I was a child. I hate being awake while it's daytime and I'm not sure why!

I have a brother (@cleinlowell) who is also a VTuber and streamer! He's much cuter than me hehehe 💙

I'd love to see other VTubers participate in something like this so I can get to know others on the platform!
