cynigowain assembling IKEA furniture: argument about which two of them should do it because the diagrams only have two people. whenever anyone tries to get out of doing it they immediately find a reason to be included e.g. inigo doesn't trust owain and cynthia to follow directions without him supervising, cynthia doesn't believe owain and inigo will be able to finish it without making a suicide pact (again, she says, making a suicide pact again) and although owain originally likes the idea of narrating the construction to cynthia and inigo to motivate them he starts to feel really left out and wants to join in. so they start doing it all three and manage to build nothing and give up. having talked through all the different ways this could go wrong were they separated their relationship is stronger than ever. how i think the nohr siblings relationships eventually break down:

Xander and Charlotte: shivorce when she finds out that every time they had an argument leading to a trial separation (multiple times) he has used that time to "explore" with men and then come back to her and she's frustrated that he doesn't see this as a pattern of behaviour, it's just coincidental that after their first really bad fight he had a one night stand with a recently divorced Laslow and has been trying to recreate it ever since. she probably does take him back eventually once she's decided he's got his shit together but i don't think the hurt from him keeping that secret until he couldn't ever really goes away.

Camilla and Silas: entire relationship haunted by the spectre of Corrin. third wheeled by someone who wasn't even there until it runs off the road. or if we're talking modern au then it doesn't survive Silas' last tour in Iraq and Camilla becomes a proud military ex-wife.

Leo and Felicia: inexplicably mated for life like swans and they die of old age within a week of each other. everyone hates this

Elise and Odin: after meeting on club penguin they date over AIM for two months before she adds him to her Minecraft server and he fucks up her intricate redstone creations because he didn't notice they were there and built his house right in the middle of it so they break up then and there. one angle of leolicia that i think about far too much is Leo admitting that his own plans for marriage were to wait until there was a girl Xander couldn't keep refusing to whom he would offer Leo as a consolation prize with some diplomatic end and when Felicia hears this she's like "oh no... I'm so sorry... I've ruined your chance for a loveless political match that primarily benefits your older brother at the expense of your happiness..." and she means it. she is 100% sincere. but Leo tells her it's fine because "[she's] the princess of the ice tribe so this wasn't a complete waste" and that reassures her! so they continue to live in perfect bliss and harmony and are mated for life like swans until they die of old age within a week of each other and everyone else gets divorced within a decade

ooough leolicia. i think she hand feeds him when he's "busy" (reading) and/or doesn't want to do it himself and they both think it's a normal affectionate thing to do but if Leo was about ten percent more approachable with feedback Flora would be staging an intervention. they're not even handsy in public (that's Camilla's relationship crime) but there's just something people find weird about how physically comfortable they are with each other. but if you try to give feedback to Leo he's going to listen carefully and then give you an itemised list of every single one of your flaws and if you give it to Felicia she'll listen carefully and nod and within 48 hours you will find out if Leo has ordered a hit on you or not for the heinous crime of bothering his wife

woke up dreaming abt a Leolicia sci-fi au where Corrin is a secret AI being built to get past Hoshido's planetary defences (so the Nohrians can access their natural resources e.g cobalt, lithium, gold, etc) and Corrin's development is so secret that if you look up the rank and division of the people working directly with them they'll come up as housekeeping. Leo is a prince strategist for Nohr who arranges regular meetups with Felicia to see how the project is going and accidentally gets really fond of her. he's a born spacer (most of are people on the Nohr fleet are) but she's from a small icy moon and she struggles with coordination in the artificial gravity

Leo + Felicia have been hooking up in a room with fuzzy biometric scanners so no one can know what they're doing and it's after one of those that Leo double checks the data won't incriminate him in any way and realises the scanner is now showing three people in that room. it's fuzzy but it's not that fuzzy and he immediately sends up the alarm

their spaceship has been infiltrated by a person - Azura - presumed dead after the ship she was on was lost. she's been raised in Hoshido as an anti-Nohr weapon and is making her way towards their flagship to kill? Garon???
