LES MIS LETTERS IN ADAPTATION - M. Myriel Becomes M. Bienvenu, LM 1.1.2 (Les Miserables 1925)
The episcopal palace of Digne adjoins the hospital. The episcopal palace was a huge and beautiful house, built of stone at the beginning of the last century by M. Henri Puget, Doctor of Theology of the Faculty of Paris, Abbé of Simore, who had been Bishop of Digne in 1712. This palace was a genuine seignorial residence. Everything about it had a grand air,—the apartments of the Bishop, the drawing-rooms, the chambers, the principal courtyard, which was very large, with walks encircling it under arcades in the old Florentine fashion, and gardens planted with magnificent trees. In the dining-room, a long and superb gallery which was situated on the ground floor and opened on the gardens, M. Henri Puget had entertained in state, on July 29, 1714, My Lords Charles Brûlart de Genlis, archbishop; Prince d’Embrun; Antoine de Mesgrigny, the capuchin, Bishop of Grasse; Philippe de Vendôme, Grand Prior of France, Abbé of Saint Honoré de Lérins; François de Berton de Crillon, bishop, Baron de Vence; César de Sabran de Forcalquier, bishop, Seignor of Glandève; and Jean Soanen, Priest of the Oratory, preacher in ordinary to the king, bishop, Seignor of Senez. The portraits of these seven reverend personages decorated this apartment; and this memorable date, the 29th of July, 1714, was there engraved in letters of gold on a table of white marble. The hospital was a low and narrow building of a single story, with a small garden.

What an incredible Paris Fashion Week I have had as a guest @rosewoodhoteldecrillon — it’s so nice to be back. These photos are taken in Le Grand Appartements a set of three suites designed by Karl Lagerfeld. It truly is one of the most spectacular series of rooms in Paris. If you look closely in Photo 5–you’ll see an advance copy of “Paradise Now The Extraordinary Life of Karl Lagerfeld” by my friend William Middleton @wfmiddletonauthor — The book launches in February during Paris Fashion Week. Stay tuned. (at Hôtel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel) https://www.instagram.com/p/CnrB_SKsjko/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

It started as a social event and was first held in the Orangery of the Château de Versailles on 10 July 1958, Its purpose is to raise money for Charities to help young women
The criteria for invitation as a débutante are an attractive appearance, intelligence, and famous parents. The débutantes often come from families known in entertainment, business, or politics etc

So like that the World Cup in Qatar 2022 suddenly was great, well organized, diplomatic victory for the country, suspenseful final and presto! packed it's weighed, the climate, workers and human rights finally we don't care, pfff, the magic of sport has taken over. It had been predicted, ok don't act, we're not going to play the game again. But besides that, the magic of sport… uh… did you see the after parties for the final? We talked about "embarrassment" about Macron who stuck to MBappé to make his com, at the same time what would we have said if he left without going to console the players? There are other things that were more embarrassing frankly. The despicable gesture of Martinez, the Argentine goalkeeper with her trophy. The behavior of the Argentinians in the locker room which humiliated MBappé, the racist Argentinian remarks since the start of the competition on the France team, the racist surge which fell on the networks on the French players who missed the penalties, Messi who was covered with the traditional Qatari clothing the bisht, for the delivery of his trophy, an unnecessary gesture and which marks this image when an athlete must remain in his sportswear, a gesture denounced on the BBC by the former player Gary Linecker, the mouth of MBappé on the balcony of the Crillon in front of the supporters. It is thanks to this crowd that football produces multi-millionaire stars, and a smile can be given alms even in defeat. In all sports clubs, juniors are taught to win and lose with class, respect and fair play ("always shake hands" my coach used to say). Too bad that during the biggest world competition this is not the case
