how was your experience learning audio spatial design? im currently an engineering student and plan on working on a thesis surrounding audio systems/ spatial design and love that you are partaking in that field?

It’s honestly been so fire. Its opened me to a diff side of music especially being able to work with two sound artists. All of the music I’ve made i don’t think I’ve worked w anyone who makes their own patches or builds synths from scratch…so yea that blew my mind.. I wish we had more time to jus spend together I’d love to have more aspects to the residency, like mandatory building.. I’m sure as an engineer student u gonna touch all of that n more.. but aside from jus learning from the whole audium team n residents..personally helped me think of music differently fasho..with mixing, structuring, producing, layering, how a sound hits when all ur senses can only focus on the sound.. audium i feel does a great job with not being too tech n also not being too basic hah.. applying for this i was excited bc i knew [C]oncepts would fit perfect but i can’t lie during the first few weeks into it, i was so confused n literally writing down notes like a court reporter.. i liked asking for help always..

910 how is your relationship with money?

My relationship with money is a struggle. Despite me not believing it is real I gross a decent amount yearly. I aim to become a wiser steward of my “money” as I increase my intake of it.

436. What do you have unwavering faith in?

Time is the only thing that I can think of swiftly. I question a lot of things often. When I say time I don’t mean the social construct of a clock. There was time before me and there will be time after me. So during my conscious existence 👁️ continue to respect and appreciate it.

1180 What makes a nation great?

It’s people & their perception is what makes it great. Many perceptions account for reality. From my small perspective I see greatness in many nations.

2551 Do you tend to make the best of a bad situation?

Making good out of bad is one of my healthy unhealthy talents. When I face moments of agitation I dwell on it for a few moments and then dabble on great possibilities of why that scenario has arrived.

823 Is college important?

Lmao this question is 3 words but super layered. My answer is yesidno 🤣😂. I honestly have so many different answers for that question. The real question is what is important to the seeker?

241 can you recite your favorite poem from memory?

My favorite poem is “the negro speaks of rivers” by Langston Hughes. Hell yea I can recite it. If not I’d be damn close. I had a time span of thinking I’ll be a poet after learning and reciting it at events on campus in 8th grade lol.. 21 years later I ain’t a poet 🤣😂

2999 Has anyone ever been angered by your honesty?

Yes this is an often occurrence for me. I get called an asshole at times because of it 😒. I get angry cause other people be angry at what they asked for, the truth lol.

2046 Do you have the support you need?

Professionally I fasho know that is a no we lacking hella resources lol. My class is the size of my bathroom and closet in my loft 🤣😂. Out side of the professional space I’m unsure. My needs constantly change with my intelligence.

2058 what is a trait you wish you had?

I can’t think of any right now. Look forward to answering this question again in a year. I’m sure if I think of one in that time space I’ll try to possess the trait by then.

542 What is your least favorite music genre?

My least favorite genre is probably this new aged rap/hip hop. Whatever you wanna call it the vibrational frequency is very low. I listen to a lot of music though I respect most of the genres. Heavy metal is hard to listen to unless I’m in the weightroom or on a football field lol

333 Do you judge people easily?

Uncertain what the question means but the way I took it I will have to say yes. I judge people by their actions and principles. I would offer support to anyone even if I think they are sketchy. We all need somebody ya know?

I learned how to do the clipping thing for layers on ps and uhhh wow that took me so long to figure out something so simple. I feel so silly now the ways I tried to work around it before so everything would be the same size... anyways your stuff is so cool and I aspire for mine to be half as good!
