so something I find very interesting is that Laura Shigihara is somehow involved in two franchises featuring a talking yellow flower, and in both cases she sings an ending song

in Plants vs. Zombies, she voices a talking Sunflower in "Zombies On Your Lawn" (and also did like, the entire soundtrack)

in Deltarune, she sings the song "Don't Forget" at the end of Chapter 1 (and technically Chapter 2). ofc, Deltarune is inherently tied to Undertale... which prominently features a talking flower, Flowey

is this intentional on Toby's part, or just a curious coincidence? I'd love to ask him tbh

also interesting is how both cases deal with death, undeath, and the idea of "kill or be killed", but that's a bit more general than talking flowers and so, slightly less interesting
