Your writing is so good! Thank you so much for writing platonic fics, they are so hard to find, especially in Genshin and Demon Slayer. As an Aro/Ace who is addicted to the found family trope, your blog is a haven. So if I may... can I request a Muichiro x Hashira Mentor!Reader to go along with your other fics in this series? I loved the three so far, and especially with the most recent episode, I have strong "PROTECT THE BABY" vibes for Mui. What would happen if instead of Kotetsu saving Mui, it was reader? And they were trying to protect him from Gyokko while Mui is stuck in the water, and maybe that is what gives him the strength/inspiration to break free.
no harm will come to you.
summary. ""N— no," he choked out before rapidly pulling the rest of the needles out of his body. Something in their gut twisted uncomfortably at the sight of their student so battered. "Why do you always have to be the one to save me?"" trigger & content warnings. near-death (not the reader), canon-typical blood and injury, brief mentions of throwing up. tropes, pairings, fic length, & other notes. angst to fluff-ish. muichiro tokito & hashira mentor!reader. 1.5k words. they/them pronouns for reader. author's thoughts. hello dear!! i always smile when someone says this to me. its so important to remember that not everyone enjoys romanctic content. aroace people exist and deserve to be catered to as much as any other people do. i love being a safe space for people who just... dont want romantic content. i dont reblog romantic content (unless its canon x canon ship content, but even thats rare), i dont interact with romantic content. i just bring a spotlight exclusively to platonic content. not everyone has to do that, and thats totally fine, but i do so and will continue to do so. anyways pls keep sending mui requests, i love him so much awajshskgj <3

       "Mui-kun!"
       'That voice...'
"Hey! I'm here, okay?!" Their blood was ice in their veins, heart pounding as hard against their rib cage as their feet did against the ground. "I'm here now! Just ho— just hold out a little longer! I'll get you out of this shit!"
"Yeah! We'll— we'll get you out of this shit!" Kotetsu echoed from his place situated on their back. Their arms were hooked around his legs to keep him in place, while his arms squeezed around their neck to balance himself a little better. They pinched his thigh scoldingly.
       "Don't repeat that! You're ten!"
       'Ah... it's [Surname]-sama... and Kotetsu-kun..?'
Heavy pants left their lips as they skidded to a stop, falling to their knees in front of their poor, incapacitated Tsuguko. Kotetsu was quick to slide off of their back, settling beside them. "Shit... what the fuck?" they cursed under their breath, palm pounding against the cage of water, only to be met with ferocious rebound. Their pupils were blown wide with terror, the gloss of unshed tears making their eyes shimmer in the moonlight. Dragging their sword against the water's surface had no effect. The young boy mimicked their motions, simply with a knife instead. His efforts had no effect either. "The fuck is this? Why isn't it breaking? It's just water... why..?"
'Come to think of it... I've never seen [Surname]-sama cry, have I? They look so stressed.'
"Tokito-san, we won't let you die!" Kotetsu shouted. Beneath his mask, tears formed in the corners of his eyes. "Hang in there! What is this?!" He threw his whole body weight against the water, only to bounce back just as they had. "What the hell is this, [Surname]-san?! It's all rubbery and gross!"
"I don't know! I know as much as you do, okay?! I may be a Hashira but that doesn't mean I automatically know everything!"
The heat bubbling just beneath the surface of their skin was unbearable. In their panicked haze, they didn't notice the unfamiliar markings manifesting on their skin. As soon as they appeared, they were gone, fading from their flesh with no trace left behind. It was like they had never been there in the first place.
It seemed that they had a hard time maintaining their enhanced state when panicked and unfocused.
'You two have bigger priorities than me right now. Protect the chief, [Surname]-sama. Not me. That would be beyond Kotetsu-kun, but not you.'
Muichiro's eyes widened. His palm pounded furiously on the water, hoping to get at least one of the two's attention. Thankfully, he knew his mentor well enough to know how attentive they were. They reacted immediately, head whipping around to face whatever it was that he saw approaching from behind them.
It was only a small demon in comparison to the size of their body, hardly reaching up to their knee, but they knew better than to make assumptions about its power based solely on its size.
It came from an Upper Moon.
Surely, then, it was imbued with at least a fraction of said Upper Moon's strength.
"Kotetsu-kun, get behind me!" they commanded, snatching up their blade from the ground. "Now!"
A sharp gasp was torn from their throat when an equally sharp pain pierced their side. In their frantic state, it seemed that they were at a disadvantage, slowed down by their overwhelming worry. If Muichiro had screamed, the water had swallowed the sound up entirely; even so... the absolute horror on his face was surely enough to clue one in on his thought process. They winced, swinging their blade with enough force to behead the demon. It dissipated within an instant.
"[Surname]-san!" Kotetsu shouted, stepping back in shock of the sheer amount of blood that spilled from their lips.
"Fuck this whole mission," they muttered, bitter and tired, drawing in the deepest breath they could manage to in spite of the pain that struck their whole body like lightning when they did.
They exhaled into the vase of water.
       'Even when you're bleeding out...'
Muichiro inhaled the oxygen they provided him with.
'You still come to my rescue. I should be embarrassed. Let me help you for once.'
"Kotetsu-kun! Get down!" they shouted out, leaping forward to shield his much smaller body with their own. His little hands immediately went to their side to put pressure on the wound they sustained.
Upon feeling their back drench with freezing water, they dove away from Kotetsu, catching their injured Tsuguko in their arms.
"I've got you, I've got you..." they whispered over and over like a mantra of sorts, perhaps in an attempt to console themselves rather than the coughing Hashira in their embrace. No mind was paid to the spines poking their skin, nor the way Muichiro spat up a concerning amount of water over their shoulder. They did, however, take note of the way he made desperate attempts to apologize for practically throwing up on them. "It's okay, it's fine, just get all the water out of your lungs. It's not a big deal."
All they truly paid attention to was the fact that he was breathing.
       Alive.
However, he was weak. Terribly weak.
"You've gone numb," they observed as he ripped a spine from his cheek, arms trembling. "I've got you. I've got the rest from here. You need to rest."
"N— no," he choked out before rapidly pulling the rest of the needles out of his body. Something in their gut twisted uncomfortably at the sight of their student so battered. "Why do you always have to be the one to save me?"
"I'm your mentor. It's my job. I teach you. I protect you. That's how this relationship works," they replied, standing up on shaky legs and taking their blade with them. They watched as more of the demons gathered around. "No harm will come to you for as long as I live."
       Aching.
That's all they could feel on one side of their body. The pain was enough to make them double over. They squeezed their eyes shut, expression contorting into a pained grimace. One hand pressed deeply into their wound in a desperate attempt to make it stop. "Fuck..."
They were already injured enough as it was from battles earlier on in the night.
Muichiro could read his mentor like an open book.
The book in question read nothing but agony. They were in no condition to keep fighting, and yet, neither was he.
       Even so...
The rage he once felt three years ago boiled over again. It flooded the entirety of his veins, searing his skin and clouding his thoughts, stealing away the momentary clarity and reprieve from the haze in his mind. Muichiro clutched his sword with newfound rage.
       'Stay away from [Surname]-sama.'
In an instant, the demons were all beheaded, dissipating into nothing but ash and dust.
"Mui— Mui-kun, listen to me," they choked out in a gasp with sudden urgency, as if they had remembered something extremely important. "The swordsmiths. Haganezuka-sama and Kanamori-san. They're— we need to go back for them. Upper Moon Five is still..."
"...You didn't get rid of him?"
Their eyes softened impossibly. "I... I didn't. I am selfish sometimes, Mui-kun, and you... you were my priority. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I had left you. Please understand where I'm coming from."
"I should be mad at you."
"...Yes. You should be, and I wouldn't hold it against you if you were."
A heavy silence settled for a moment. Not even Kotetsu dared disturb it.
Then, with tender delicacy, the Mist Hashira wrapped his arms around their torso, laying his head on their chest. He was especially adamant on avoiding causing any further irritation to their injury. The firm beating of their heart was deeply comforting to him (he did, however, note the worrying wheeze that came every time they exhaled). "...I'm not, though."
It was as if a weight was lifted off of their shoulders. They softly wrapped their arms around his shoulders. "I'm glad, then. Thank you."
"No..." the boy trailed off, withdrawing from their embrace. Much to their surprise, he bowed in front of them. "Thank you, [Surname]-sama. I might not have made it out if not for you. I'm sorry for being so troublesome. I overestimated my skill, simply because I am a Hashira. I should have known better. You taught me better than that."
An embarrassed laugh left their lips as they scratched the back of their neck. "Hey... you, um, you don't have to do that. You can stand up. It's okay. That's why we build bonds the way we do; we all mess up sometimes, so we need people we can reliably fall back on." As he rose, they hummed. "I can't quite put my finger on it, but... something about you has changed."
He smiled. Such a gentle, sincere smile... it suited his face, but it was an expression they were not accustomed to seeing on him. He said nothing in response to them, however.
'I'll tell you everything once we're out of here.'
"...Shit! The swordsmiths! Mui-kun, come on! Grab Kotetsu-kun! Let's go!"
please consider reblogging, it helps me out quite a lot!

Things that flew through my mind while watching this episode:
--For being called "Thank-you, Tokito-kun," Tokito-kun sure isn't in this episode much. Kotetsu-kun does not address Seaweed-Head with '-kun,' he addresses him with '-san.' Oyakata-sama addresses him simply as "Muichiro" in the flashback. Actually, I checked, and only Tanjiro ever calls him that. Is this going to be something Tanjiro hears and thanks him for later? Or has this whole series just been brief chapters in "The Legend of Zenitsu" and that is what Zenitsu titled it?
--Kotetsu-kun is having a bit of a weird night anyway. Brave boy--who, we mustn't forget, is a child who has every reason to feel overwhelmed--went off to get help so that Haganezuka's sword polishing would not be interrupted, and then he fought and nearly got eaten by a demon fish but stayed as strong as he could the whole time. But then when Muichiro starts carrying him and blasting forward at the speed of Pillar, I love that he's screaming his head off. I want a modern day AU of these two hanging out at an amusement park and Muichiro drags him on the big rollercoasters.
--And hey, look, another mention of how important it is not to interrupt that sword polishing process. You want that sword to get ruined, Tokito-kun? Remember that after all the effort you soon go through to protect Haganezuka-san. TO PROTECT THAT SWORD.
--Gonna right ahead to the end of the episode here and mention how Mitsuri is not at all like, "oh no, that's really, really bad" (which it is, that's why Gyokko targeted it), but "okay, watch out, I'm gonna do my best!" This is a girl who has found her true calling. She should give career advice. Does your career make your heart squeeze with excitement even in the tightest pinch?
--As a point of interesting comparison I'm going to come back to, Mitsuri's confidence is well-placed. She runs into situations that overwhelm her and she lacked confidence when trying to learn a Breath she wasn't suited for, but we never see her experience Pillar Imposter Syndrome. Besides just being extremely physically capable, she has picked up battle experience and it has become a part of her. This battle sense serves her very well. On the other hand, we have Muichiro who is not endowed with the same strength, but his analytical abilities are what make him a Pillar quality genius even before he gains much experience.
--Which brings me to Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Genya, the true stars of this episode.
--Look at these three, legit holding their own against Upper Moon Four. It is a wonder none of them died already. Ok, we have good reasons for why Nezuko and Genya haven't, but in Tanjiro's case, this is exactly what Mitsuri was talking about in episode 1 about how valuable Tanjiro's experience against Upper Moon Six was. Tanjiro has had a excellent gut for battle ever since throwing his axe in the air at Giyuu, and he's always been one to analyze a battle as he's swept up in it. But this is not the same Tanjiro who fought Kyogai! He is able to look for openings and weaknesses in totally different ways so that he can stay calm and relatively in control when fighting one-on-one with Urogi (using Urogi to fly back, now that deserves some flamboyant applause), and his battle senses have gotten strong enough to tell him that he might be able to protect himself against a demon's attack if he had the demon's own cells as a shield.
--Also, all those jokes about attacking Sailor Moon while she is transforming, or Goku while he's screaming and powering up? That is exactly what Urogi is going through.
--Genya, man, you might be coping with Repetitive Action, but you are living on spite.
--Now if only Rengoku could have learned a thing or two about not dying from gaping chest wounds
--Genya, since he fights with desperation, does not get many moments to look cool (badass, sure, but not cool-like-a-cucumber cool). That makes it's so nice that he got to strike that sword and glock pose while delivering the "I'm Shinazugawa Genya--that's the name of the guy who is gonna kill you!" line.
--Which means Genya just had the most Sailor Moon moment of this whole series.
--Sekido has good reason to be ticked off with his body-mates lolly-gagging instead of finishing the demon slayers off. After all, Muzan wants the whole village wiped out (and Gyokko is the only one getting any work done, with all four parts of Hantengu being wrapped up with these three slayers!). Aizetsu is like someone watching an animal die for the pure sadness of it. Aizetsu isn't exactly kind, though he is the odd one out among his body-mates, and I would indeed find it very, very funny if he could be convinced to befriend the sad humans (maybe out of getting some protection from Sekido). Sekido would be so pissed off about missing a critical piece of a more reasonable form like Zouhakuten, and Muzan would be pissed off as he gets this report from Sekido while Urogi and Karaku are running/flying amok.
--While I, being someone who has loved tengu for many years, appreciate the various tengu inspired elements in each of the four Ki-Do-Ai-Raku demons, I have always had trouble seeing it in Aizetsu. This is also why he seems like the odd one out to me. It's like, ah, yes, Sekido with the shakujo staff, Karaku with the bonten-kesa stole and hauchiwa fan, Urogi having the bird-like qualities of a karasu-tengu, and Aizetsu in a tracksuit.
--Instead of "half-tengu" wouldn't Hantengu's name make more sense as "quarter-tengu"?
--It's very funny that Hantengu's alter-egos all portray themselves on the side of spiritual mastery (by way of the tengu/Shugenja symbolism, followed by Buddhism-informed deity iconography, all of which is a whole different tangent of its own). Hantengu's own irony is too big to contain in one tiny body. But also, two crossovers I want to see, so if anybody draws them, please tag me: Hantengu & Co. as Father & Co. from Full Metal Alchemist, and Hantengu & Co. as the stars of Inside Out.
--I'll bet Sekido, as part of his anger-management in spiritual mastery, has agreed to stand by and give his body-mates a chance.
--Karaku acts like an overly pushy boyfriend. Learn from Nezuko, everyone. If a guy is ever giving you a hard time like that, kick his head off.
--Karaku wasn't himself in a position to be able to do much more, but his biggest mistake was giving Nezuko her opening. That whole series of moves she did there--well-placed and powerful kick, sacrificing an arm that'll quickly grow back anyway, throwing blood in Karaku's newly recovered face, and then using her fire as a distraction to reorient and physically overpower Karaku by twisting his arm off to perfectly use his hauchiwa against him, and then turn around ready to use it against Sekido--brilliant.
--Nezuko is not the same demon kicking around and getting her leg blown off by a Taisho soccer ball. She's also not the same demon desperately thrashing around a flesh-filled train. This isn't even the same demon curb-stomping Daki; she has mastery of this state now. Nezuko has peaked here with her battle techniques.
--...especially because this is last night she ever uses her demon abilities
--But!! Thinking ahead to Tamayo's analysis, Nezuko has been prioritizing other developments over reattaining her self-awareness, leaving her mind in a childlike state while she gains abilities closer and closer to those of Upper Moons, and finally masters the sun. However, Nezuko has also shown leaps and bounds in her awareness as well. Just think! What if we had a Nezuko as analytical as her brother this whole time? In all that time Tanjiro was asleep, perhaps Nezuko was also asleep, trying to attain mastery over herself so as to prevent another near mishap? And this gave her more ability to think in battle, as opposed to just attacking with her gut instinct? Nezuko is perhaps just acting on instinct when landing that series of moves on Karaku, but her instincts have gotten really sharp for how to save Tanjiro multiple times in this battle, and for using her blood to heat the sword, even if her idea was just "I'm stuck, take my fire and go." Whatever the case, baby does more than just slash and kick now and I'm so proud of her!

hey!!!!! how are you?
if fic are open..... can I ask you for some lee: Muichiro and ler: Tanjiro or Genya?
Thank you for reading, you don't have to write if you don't want to ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Well, the three certainly have a nice friendship, so I don't see why not!
Tumblr media
Lee: Muichiro Tokito
Lers: Genya Shinazugawa and Tanjiro Kamado
Class had ended, the trio were preparing to leave when... 'KAMADO TANJIRO!!'
'Oh... What's up Genya?' 'Let's talk about this somewhere else...'
They went to the nearest cafeteria, once Aoi left the meals and left, Genya told him about his problem.
Sanemi, his older brother and a mathematics teacher, had threatened to confiscate his free festival tickets if Genya's rank was not the best. 'Oh... I understand... Mmmmm, maybe we could find someone to help you study! Something like a private teacher!'
'Hey, why don't we ask Aoi for help?! AOI!!!', Inosuke hadn't even received a response and was already taking action.
But Genya refused, covering his red face as he repeated 'Not girls! Girls noooo!!', fortunately when Aoi arrived, Inosuke asked her for the second dish. 'Hmmm, I was planning to ask Kanao or Shinobu-San for help... But I respect your decision of no women!'
Tanjiro snapped his fingers, he had the perfect candidate!
'TOKITO-KUN!!', Tanjiro knocked on the door of the residence. From it came one of the Tokito brothers, precisely Muichiro, who welcomed them.
After hearing the story, he agreed on the condition that Genya call him 'Tokito-San', and he reluctantly agreed.
'Wow...Tanjiro was right, you're terrible at this. I think I should have agreed to let Kotetsu use his robot on you instead of letting him go out with that boy in yellow and that girl face...', Tanjiro gasped and Genya resisted the urge to yell and curse him.
'T-Tokito-Kun! That was very rude and impolite!'
'Telling the truth is not being rude and ill-mannered... I gave him easy exercises and he still took too long to answer the questions...'
Genya growled, it was the only thing missing, first Sanemi and, now, a child were complaining to him about his grades. But Tanjiro wasn't going to sit idly by, it wasn't the right way to help his friend.
'Tokito-Kun... I feel obliged to do it... Excuse me' 'What-? T-TANJIRO NO!!', Muichiro grabbed Tanjiro by the wrists and tried to push him away, but he wasn't so successful.
Genya was also an older brother and knew what Tanjiro was trying to do, so he approached him and held him by the arms, pinning him in a hug.
'Well, this can be resolved in two ways... If you say a few words of support to Genya, I'll let you go free. Otherwise, you'll know what will happen...'
'WHAT?! BUT HE'S TERRIBLE AT MATH, I HAVE TO BE HONEST!!', Tanjiro sighed and knelt down.
Muichiro thought it was ridiculous, it wasn't the first time he was tickled, Yui always did it, but now?! Although... He wasn't Yui...
'T-Tanjiro... Thihihis is... RiHIdiculohohous...!! Mhmhmhmhm!! G-Gehehenyahaha!! L-lehehet me gohohoho!!'
'No. Tanjiro is right, be a better teacher and tell me some words of support or I won't let you go~'
'Buhuhut yohohou suhuhuck in mahahath!!' 'Then deal with this'
Genya simply laughed and started running one of his fingers down his neck, trying not to laugh when Muichiro shrugged from laughing. As if it were worse for Muichiro, Tanjiro dared to tell Genya to give him a raspberry on his neck while he continued to squeeze his sides.
'W-wahahaihit!! I wihihill dohoho ihihihit!! EAHAHAHAHA!! NOHOHOT THAHAHAT!! O-okahahahay!! No no no no no!! COHOHOMEHEHE OHOHON!!'
'Come on, you think you could fool us with that "I'll do it" bullshit?! Please! We have siblings and they ALWAYS do the same thing when they realize the tickling won't stop, right Tanjiro?!', Tanjiro nodded.
'LEHEHET ME GOHOHO!! THEHEHE LEHESSOHOHON-!!' 'The lesson will continue after you say something nice to me, say it and we'll stop~'
Muichiro was stubborn and flatly refused, he was being honest, right?
'WAHAHAIHIT!! AHAHAHAHAHA!! YOHOHOU TWOHOHO AHAREHEHE TO MUHUHUCH!!'
'Come on Tokito-Kun, are you seriously using that tone with Genya knowing the consequences? Last chance, will you colaborate~?', he received no response. 'Well, poke poke poke', Tanjiro said, as he poke his belly button
Muichiro put his head back, he thought of something that is short but convincing enough for both of them. 'GEHENYAHAHA!! YOHOHOU AHAHARE AHAHAHAHAHA GREHEHEHAHAT MHMHMHMHM STUDEHEHEHENT!!'
'Sorry, what did you say? I can't understand you if you laugh so much~!', Tanjiro laughed and stopped Genya.
And he did it just in time, Yuichiro came in looking for his brother and found him in a ball. When he asked them, their response was 'he was surprised by Genya's math skills', Yuichiro didn't believe it until his brother gave a thumbs up in approval.
'You are better?'
'Y-yehehes...'
'Well, we have to continue with the lesson and I hope that this time you treat me with more respect unless I want that "break" again~'
Muichiro got up and sat down, he didn't deny that he felt okay, but that wasn't relevant to the lesson, although it was relevant to the future

Hiroaki Hirata, Masakazu Morita, Masayuki Ozaki UStream Special Digest Interview Part 1 (Tiger & Bunny TV)
Part 2 can be found here
The below is transcribed from the DVD release.
Ozaki: This is the first time we've had a discussion with the three of us, isn't it?
Morita: Yes.
Hirata: Yeah, it is.
Ozaki: What is your first encounter, or rather, impression of Tiger & Bunny?
Hirata: The screen showed more screens within, and then a lot of captions flashed by, and scenes changed… It was very busy. Ohta-san was reading his lines, and I couldn't follow it. I thought that I wouldn't be able to keep up. It moves very fast. I was very overwhelmed, but when Wild Tiger came out, I felt I could do it. I was a bit relieved.
Morita: You usually get reference material sent to your office for an audition, right? When I got it, I was told that it was for a foreign film.
Hirata: That's the kind of impression you get from it.
Ozaki: It must have been difficult for you to capture Barnaby's personality.
Morita: Yeah. Even after the rehearsal for the first episode, the director kept telling me "act colder, act colder." I wasn't quite sure how cold I should make him.
Ozaki: Hirata-san, did you struggle gauging your distance to Morita-san?
Hirata: Very much so. But compared to how much Bunnykazu-kun was struggling, mine wasn't as bad.
Ozaki: How was Kotetsu or Wild Tiger described to you?
Hirata: He seems irresponsible, but he still needs to show the difference, as an adult. I spent a lot of time thinking about how to differentiate him as the mature one, because he does stuf like take a silly photo of himself on Bunny's cellphone, and it's not something an adult would do at all. Right?
Ozaki: Yeah.
Hirata: He's thinking, "What? Who is this guy?" "What a weirdo. I have to team up with him?" But he doesn't totally shun him. He doesn't want to do it, but he does it anyway. It's the things he doesn't say… The fact that he can mentally switch gear, to do things that he doesn't want to… This must be what it means to be mature. That's how I felt way later.
Ozaki: I see.
Hirata: It's difficult.
Ozaki: There's a wide range of emotional spectrum within the 25 episodes.
Morita: It's like a roller coaster.
Hirata: Yeah, it is.
Morita: It's crazy.
Ozaki: It must be uneasy when that happens.
Morita: The way he acts in front of Kotetsu…The way he acts towards other Heroes and people…The way he acts towards his audience…And the way he acts when he's alone… There are four different Barnabys.
Ozaki: I see…
Hirata: Four different ones?
Morita: Yeah.
Hirata: That's amazing. I can't do that. I have a Kotetsu involving Kaede and a Kotetsu not involving Kaede. Just those two.
Ozaki: The way he acts with his family and the way he acts when he's not.
Hirata: He's either a doting father or he isn't.
Morita: There were some terrible gossips.
Ozaki: Yeah, at the beginning.
Morita: Before we started… More than I thought, people's focus was on the series being influenced by American comics. There was a rather negative impression in people…
Ozaki: It's not based on anything famous, either.
Morita: Yeah.
Hirata: It was a pretty bad start, wasn't it?
Morita: It was a terrible start. And then, its popularity skyrocketed. I was like, "See? It's great, right?"
Hirata: But you anticipated all of that, didn't you?
Ozaki: -Uhh…
Morita: -Aha!
Hirata: Like Bunnykazu-kun mentioned earlier, I knew it was great. But when it actually became crazy popular, none of us saw it coming. And we were all excited and grateful. None of us, except you. You said, "This was expected."
Ozaki: Yeah. I was certain that Tiger & Bunny would be a hit. I really believed it.
Morita: This series is aimed at middle-aged men who are fighting at the top right now. But when you look deeper, there are a lot of female fans. Naturally, there are a lot of male fans, but also female fans. Those young female fans are attracted to the Old Man. Just like this. Did you expect this?
Ozaki: Well, not really.
Morita: Did you expect it to be this popular with female fans?
Ozaki: That was unexpected.
Morita: Right?
Hirata: It took many years for me to get the title of Pirate Voice Actor.
Morita: Because you've done it for so long.
Hirata: Yeah. It took over ten years for me to be called that. And in three months, I became the Old Man Voice Actor. Three months! They kept calling me Old Man.
Morita: But when they call you that, it's meant as a term of endearment, with a little heart at the end.
Hirata: I would like that to be so.
Morita: This is new. Old men are back in fashion.
Ozaki: Yeah.
Hirata: That's part of Kotetsu's character. He's kind to women. For example, he doesn't understand Blue Rose's feelings. He's rather dense, but humble. And with his daughter, he's a doting parent. I think women find this endearing.
Ozaki: Were there any memorable events or happenings in the past year?
Morita: For me, that would be the Tiger & Bunny Hero Awards 2011 after the series ended.
Ozaki: We did that in November, right?
Morita: That was shocking, wasn't it? At the end, everyone in the audience got together and sang…
Ozaki: Yeah, when we did "Orion wo Nazoru."
Morita: And that happened at theaters across the country. I heard everyone cried. Some people tweeted that it was their first time crying at an event. To be honest, when it was over, I teared up as well.
Hirata: A live event was a first for me. But prior to that, we had another event to watch the final episode together.
Ozaki: Oh yeah, on the 17th of September.
Hirata: I thought that was nice, to be able to watch all the action on the big screen. Naturally, everyone in our theater was excited, but the fact that people were laughing and cheering in other places too made me feel like we were connected.
Ozaki: Connected and together with everyone. I think that's something symbolic of Tiger & Bunny.

I don't know if you requests are open but may I ask for lee muichiro, ler tanjiro and ler tiny kid with mask that muichiro abused (ah yes very creative nickname when I forgot it lol) (idek what happened to the color of the text)
You must be referring to Kotetsu! But yeah, these 3 had a little interaction, but they still look so cute together!
Warning: This fanfic contains tickles. Also remind them that I don't speak English, so if they find any errors, let me know to correct it. I hope you like it!
Lee: Muichiro Tokito
Ler: Tanjiro Kamado and Kotetsu
'I wouldn't tell this to just anyone, but that brat didn't know what the difficulty level could be. My ancestors designed this to suit swordsman training... ' 'And why didn't you tell me before?', Kotetsu and Tanjiro looking at each other, Muichiro then came out of the trees, arms crossed and somewhat annoyed.
'Hey?! weren't you gone?' 'I have to train, I haven't done it' '...You just did it a few minutes ago, you even threw your broken sword at Tanjiro-san! You broke the doll!', Kotetsu was angry, Tanjiro picked him up and tried to calm him down, while he tried to know what he would do with the hashira, he had already knocked him out before for trying to help him, how sure was he that the same thing wouldn't happen?
'Give me the boy, I need him to explain to me how I can configure that doll and give me the key' 'I won't give you Kotetsu! Why is it not a thing in the first place! That belongs to Kotetsu and his family, you already destroyed it before and made him very sad, I will not allow that again', Tanjiro dodged another punch from Tokito by sheer luck, but he followed, trying to get him away from Kotetsu
Tanjiro pushed Kotetsu aside and tried to push the hashira away, facing him. Tokito was ready to throw another punch, but…
'Ha!', Tanjiro and Kotetsu's gaze went to the hashira, who was looking confused at his body and lips, what was that sound? And... what had caused it? Tanjiro only had a hard time lowering his gaze to find Kotetsu pressing Tokito's knee.
'What... what did you just do?' 'Kotetsu do it again!', again another squeeze on his knee and the same sound came out of his mouth. He had memories of it, with a boy with black hair and a matching haori, but even from long before him, of a boy in a black yukata and some patterns... Who was he...?
'Ohhh! Tokito-kun is ticklish! Kotetsu, don't stop doing that!' 'Aye, Tanjiro-San!', the little boy kept squeezing the sensitive joint of the hashira, who tried to launch a blow to knock him out, but was avoided by Tanjiro, who started digging his fingers into his sides.
'He-hey! I'm a hahahashira! Youhuhu cahahan't dohoho thahahat! Shohohow me rehehehespehehect!' 'We're not hurting you! Much less humiliating! Come on Tanjiro-San, let's show him how important it is to be nice!'
'Gehehet ohohoff! I'm seheheherious!' 'Hello serious! My name is Tanjiro and this little one is Kotetsu!', repeated joke, but for the hashira it was the worst of the day.
'Stohohohop! You cahahahan't-!' 'What can't we? Tickle you? There's no rule that tells us we can't do that!' Muichiro fell to the ground, unable to stand and was again caught between grips and claws.
'EEEEEE!! HAHAHHAHAHA!! NOHOHO! QUIHIHIT IT!!' 'Huh? Ohhh! Is your belly very sensitive?' 'Got it Tanjiro-San!', Kotetsu climbed up and sat on Muichiro's hips, helping Tanjiro, gently running his fingers around his belly, going up and down his sides or sometimes approaching his belly button and making him squirm again giving the idea that would make him scream with laughter
'COHOHOME OHOHON! THAHAHAT'S SO CHIHIHILDIHIHISH! *snorts* HUH?! WHAT?!' *snort* WHAHAHAT HAHAHAPENNED?!', Muichiro covered his face and some of his mouth with his hands, biting his uniform trying to stop the sounds from coming out, giving him only a few seconds like that, because Tanjiro moved his hands away.
'Don't hide your laugh Tokito-kun!!' 'NOHOHO! GAHAHAHA!! HEHEHEY!! NOHOHOT TWOHOHO IN ONE!!! IT'S NOT FAHAHAIR!!' 'Of course it's fair! Say sorry to Kotetsu for hitting him and destroying his robot and we'll let you go!'
Muichiro refused, kicking the floor and shaking his head. For him, it was humiliating to have to apologize, he wasn't going to do it. But his mind was changed, Kotetsu's little fingers dug into his navel and moved with a touch so soft it made him feel like hell.
'WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! NOHOHO!! IT'S HUMILIATING!*snort* *squeals *I WOHOHON'T DOHOHO IT!! PLEHEHEHAHAHAHAHHAHSE!! *scream* LEHEHEAVE MY BELLY BUHUHUTTON!! *snorts* MEHEHEHERCY!! *snorts* NOHOHO!! SOHOHOHOHORRYY!! SORRY!!', Muichiro begged, unable to resist any longer, he wanted to be free, he felt weird in a part, he felt that this reminded him of someone and he felt confused
'Okay Kotetsu, that's enough!' 'Of course not! I want him to cry and suffer!', Kotetsu refused to get off or stop the tickling despite the hashira's pleas. Tanjiro simply got up and pulled Kotetsu away from Muichiro, who was still squirming less intensely, the sensations and giggles still not completely leaving him.
'Sohohorry agahahain...' 'Never mind Tokito-kun! I rather hope that you didn't feel uncomfortable', Muichiro looked at Tanjiro, again the boy in the black yukata seemed to reflect on him, he didn't understand who he was, but what made him happy

Thinking about how Kotetsus powers came in and he couldn't help destroying things. Cups, tables, walls - just like how we saw with Kaede.
How there's this sweet little kid who can't even do his homework because he breaks the pencil before it can touch down and pens splatter blue all over the rug and that's still for the best cause he'd probably rip the paper and snap the desk in two.
How this little boy who loves hugs and wants to throw his Whole body into showing how much love is stored in his too small frame learns to let his arms dangle at his side because last time he bruised Mom and what if this time he breaks her.
How walking to school is a prelude to awful when he can suddenly hear every cicada in the forest all at once and every shift of fabric is overwhelming and he can see every acne filled pore on his brother's worried face from a hundred paces.
How it doesn't matter if his power is on or not he can see what they think of him when he's made to stand in the back again because 'we don't have funding for Another desk for you Kaburagi-kun.' when he overhears whispers he shouldn't it doesn't even Matter because it's not like he could sort out who said it anyway.
Walking home with his chest full of anger he can't risk letting go because what if he hurt someone. Just like everyone said he would. It's Just a matter of time. Smiling when he gets home and saying he had a great day and not mentioning how he tore the straps of his backpack and had to carry it home because they're worried enough already. Burying cracked thermoses in mom's garden and saying he lost them because they look less worried, less horrified, at that than the shattered and spiderwebbed metal twisted into the shape of his hand.
How until Mr. Legend saves him (he saves Mr legend) those powers are nothing but a curse. You are destined to hurt and destroy. No my boy, you can Save.
That shift in expectation. No one expects anything good from him. Clings to it like a life preserver out on the sea.
And when Tomoe scolds him for hugging like a limp fish, "Come on Kotetsu! I know you want to hug me back- your not going to hurt me!" But i might still lives at the corners of his mind right until he's fully embraced her. Joy bubbling so intensely in his chest he can't help but pick her up and spin her. Kiss her and tightens his arms just that much more as she giggles. I saved you with these powers and now i get to hold you in my arms.
And for the first time he sure these powers weren't a curse.

Things that went through my mind while watching this episode: --Gotouge must had been in A Mood when writing these chapters, and the animators were probably like, "sweeeet! I love weeks like this!" with those silly and simple scenes of Tanjiro Being a Dork feat. Kotetsu, feat. Kotetsu/Haganezuka/Kanamori, feat. Genya, feat. Nezuko, feat. Nezuko/Muichiro.
--but then partway through they probably dragged themselves back to more detailed serious work like Hantengu dragging himself to work. Sniffle, sniffle, fine, they expect so much out of us, fine, here's all the bone and muscle fibers of Karaku taking shape from a head still falling through the air.
--Speaking of animation details--the glow on Muichiro's eyes as he runs through the dark forest? Nice. So nice to see him using a sword modeled after the one which his "ancestor" used, even if he did steal it off a doll modeled off his "ancestor." (Side note--wouldn't it be fun to see the Tokitou twins with inherited memories?)
--Also, I am pretty forgiving of the CG fish (of anything, I was impressed). They didn't totally meld with the 2D environment, but for what Gotouge gave them to work with, they moved them around in a pretty satisfyingly believable way.
--So anyway, back to this first round of Tanjiro being a dork, I love the range of emotion we get him in this episode, when he gets to relax and just be a teenage boy. SWORD, COOL!! I can has it? I no can has it. Panic-and-protect-the-child mode. Haganezuka-san was working hard for meeee? Panic-and-protect-the-child mode. Haganezuka-san said not to peek. You think I can go peek? Friendship senbei! Tooth. I'll bet I can figure out how to braid Nezuko's hair like Kanroji-san's! Zzzzz. Oh, hahaha, Tokitou-kun, surely you'd never attack me in my sleep! Now I can go peek on Haganezuka-san like I was totally going to anyway even though he told me not to. Hmmmm. Oh, wait, what, that's a demon, nevermind--
--It's just so nice seeing him be some annoying random guy sometimes instead of just The Eldest Son.
--So, Haganezuka-san. It's not just that he was physically training himself to smith a better sword for Tanjiro, but he in fact had already made a new one, but he didn't feel it was good enough. Perhaps he spent some of those nasty letters in his initial outrage at seeing the chipped sword, but then after being scolded for making something that would chip so bad in the first place, he felt dissatisfied with the sword he tried to make better, and maybe some of those "I have no sword for you" letters were just a way of expressing "I suck at this (because I am a perfectionist)"?
--More Haganezuka-san: He was essentially raised by Tecchin because his parents couldn't handle his fits when he was a child (which is very, very sad), but he practices a sword polishing technique that has been handed down through the Haganezuka family (and in real life, sword polishing is recognized as a skill totally separate from smithing (though smithing does involve some preliminary polishing stages), so I love that a later Taisho Secret shows him doing finger push-ups because yeah, he's gonna need those fingers ready for a lot of the detail work in the polishing process). While I would also love to see "inherited memories" explored more in Haganezuka, this more likely means that he learned from the father who essentially abandoned him. Oh, to be a fly on the wall in that workshop.
--But also... this three day polishing process which has killed people for how extreme it is. Tanjiro, if he says not to bother him, please, don't both him. Have you learned nothing about the risks of upsetting Haganezuka-san? And this is of course not endearing you to Genya, who at this point still has every reason to find you annoying. You keep giving him reasons to dislike you, too.
--Classic Muichiro-Nezuko Head Tilt
--I wonder if Kotetsu lured Nezuko away with toys so that she wouldn't interfere with Kotetsu nearly killing her brother
--But also, mad respect to Kotetsu, he really was doing his best against that fish
--Might I just say, that little gasp Muichiro has when he remembers Tanjiro's words? So elegantly subtle in the sound design. --Interesting that Gyokko does not appreciate the flesh of the swordsmiths, even though eating strong people would presumably be nutritious. Hard to digest? Maybe not as nutritious as a Breath-using Pillar? But also, what with "Kakushaku-no-Ko" culture among those who use fire, perhaps all their work with fire (which demons show a distinct dislike of), or more directly with the metal of Nichirin blades is part of what makes them distasteful?
--My favorite Hantengu form is his basic sniveling "woe is me, I'm so weak" old dude form, because it's so ironic. He is the Zenitsu of demons.
--And bam, we already have his full set of four! That didn't take long at all. Also, Tanjiro is now back in The Eldest Son mode and Nezuko is in oh-yeah-she-is-A-DEMON mode, that didn't take long either. Oh, and Genya has already sustained what should be a fatal injury. That also did not take long.

(Not for tickletober)
Idk how many characters your comfortable writing for so if I'm requesting too many here please let me know. Ofc feel free to decline this! :3
Could you do Ler Mitsuri/Tanjiro, Lee Kotetsu/Genya and Switches Nezuko/Muichiro? So basically like a tickle fight between all these characters?
Ahhh! The entire cast of Season 3! Sounds good!
Tumblr media
Lers: Nezuko Kamado, Muichiro Tokito, Mitsuri Kanroji and Tanjiro Kamado
Lees: Kotetsu, Genya Shinazugawa, Nezuko Kamado and Muichiro Tokito
'Tokito-Kun! You're back!', the little blacksmith started to hug the hashira when he saw him arrive. 'I missed you too Kotetsu, I hope it doesn't matter but...I came with the others'
'Ohhh! No problem! Let's go!', Kotetsu pulled Muichiro's uniform, who started to follow him.
'Nezuko, Genya! Come with me', Genya followed him carrying a small Nezuko, who had fallen asleep during the trip. 'So, they managed to recover. I'm so glad!'
'Me too, and you? You're not hurt anymore, are you?'
'Oh yeah! Don't worry! I'm fine! Hmm? What's wrong with that girl?', Kotetsu looked at Nezuko strangely, she didn't stop looking at him. 'Little!'
'I know I'm little, thank you- Mmmm!'
'Nezuko? What's-?'
'Little!', Nezuko gently squeezed Kotetsu's sides, she liked it, she felt like she was squeezing an anti-stress toy 'Wahahit! Hehehey!'
'Poor child, Nezuko I don't think she'll let him go so easily'
'Hmmmm...'
'What are you looking at Mui-? Oh no! Do not even think about it! Wah!', Genya fell to the ground while fighting Muichiro, he wasn't going to let him win this time. 'Muichiro! Wait! We can do this another time! Not now-!'
'Ok...', Muichiro gave Genya a small kiss on the forehead, took advantage of the distraction and dug his fingers into Genya's hips. 'I cheated you!'
'Muhuhui! Ghahahaha! Stohohop! Yohohou trahahaitohor!', Genya placed both hands on him stomach, he didn't even defend herself against Muichiro's attacks, well, it's not like Genya minded either-
'GIHIHIRL!!'
'Squishy!', Nezuko was still squeezing Kotetsu's sides, who was kicking the air, he tried to push the girl away, but he only managed to make her change places and now his belly was being tickled
'MUHUHUI!! NOHOHO!!'
'Genya, are you more ticklish than Kotetsu-Kun? I'm just tickling your neck and you're already screaming', Muichiro was very confident that it was only the 4 of them, but...
'Ehehehehe! Mihihiss Kahahanroji!'
'What's up Nezuko-chan? Why were you teasing this little one?'
Mitsuri? What was he doing here? Muichiro was trying to think until...
'Boo~!', something or someone whispered in his ear and he felt them dig into his belly button, making him scream. 'WHAHAHAT?! WHO?! TAHAAHANJIRO?! NAHAHAHA!!'
'What's up Tokito-Kun? Were you also bothering Genya? What a bad deed!', well, at least Kotetsu and Genya were not left without being avenged

Brat Tamer Confirmed?
Rating: Teen? Yeah, I'd say teen.
Summary: The local BDsM community tries to categorize a certain Hyuuga.
"Everyone thinks Sasuke is so dangerous. He's an overgrown brat who needs to be taught a lesson."
Neji's conversation with his teammate reached the curious ears of a certain pair of chuunin, the more carefree of which jabbed his companion in the ribs with his elbow. "Brat tamer confirmed?"
Izumo gave Kotetsu a light shove for the jab. "How? He doesn't have the patience. Pure Dominant."
Behind them, a usually light-hearted voice was low and scolding. "He's barely eighteen..."
The pair turned in unison to see Maito Gai with his arms folded across his chest and his normally bright expression shadowed with disappointment. The two almost apologized for the inappropriate conversation about his student, but--
"Give him enough time to realize he's a Master," the jounin told them, smirking with pride.
Kotetsu's features brightened, and he chuckled--
--a sound that was eclipsed by the laughter of one Hatake Kakashi. The ever-present mask covered his mouth, but not necessarily the smirk it was curved into. "You're all on the wrong side of the spectrum."
Confused about where he had come from, Gai scouted for more possible spies. "Are we talking about the same person?" He had never known Neji to be submissive. Even Gai was intimidated by him.
Kakashi contained his amusement as he casually strode between the Hyuuga and his teammate, Lee. As he cut through the pair, his book coincidentally slipped out of his hand and landed at Neji's feet. There it sat, while the three of them stared at it. "Hand that to me," Kakashi eventually requested of Neji.
Neji was immediately defiant, face scrunched up in confusion. "Why? Did you hurt your back, old man?"
Despite the insult, the copy nin's tone became softer, warmer. "It's the respectful thing to do, isn't it, Neji-kun?"
The cogs turned in Neji's head for a moment, softening his features with each rotation, and, eventually, he bent down and retrieved the book for Kakashi.
Book in hand, Kakashi smiled with enough force to squint his one exposed eye and tapped Neji beneath the chin with it. "Good boy."
The older group observed as Neji held a sour expression until Kakashi rounded a corner. Then, pink flooded his cheeks and he lost the battle against the proud smile pulling at his lips.
Izumo groaned. "Oh no..."
Beside him, Kotetsu pumped his fist in the air. Sure, he had been wrong, but there was something worth celebrating. "Yes! My brother in backtalk! He's a brat!"
Brow furrowed, Gai considered what he had just witnessed. "I hate how much sense that makes..." He then jumped a clean foot into the air when Kakashi's voice broke into the conversation behind him.
"It was obvious."
The whole group was surprised to hear Genma's input. "You're all idiots." The tokubetsu jounin was judging them all over Kotestsu's shoulder, with both his words and his eyes. "He is not a brat."
As much as he hated the addition to the community, Izumo shook his head. "The proof was in the smile, Genma."
"Brats aren't for everyone, yeah, but you can't deny them. As a representative of the SAM community in Konoha, I, for one, welcome another bratty little brother. I hope he makes some poor Dom's life a living Hell, and Heaven," Kotetsu declared.
Genma just shook his head, making the group feel like they weren't worth his time, and left their nonsense conversation to join Neji, who had just been abandoned by his teammate. "I saw what you did for Kakashi."
The Hyuuga prodigy restrained himself from rolling his eyes. "He didn't even ask. He just told me to do it. He's lucky I did it at all."
"Still, you did it, and that was mature of you." After brushing the thick veil of hair away from Neji's ear, Genma leaned in to whisper, though his mouth formed every syllable clearly enough for the snooping group to read. "Daddy's proud of you."
The color on Neji's face was immediately vibrant, and he didn't resist the smile that tugged at his lips. He was positively preening.
Kotetsu made a face. "I withdraw my support."
His best friend snorted. "He's still kind of a brat?"
"What am I missing?" Gai was clueless, probably because he hadn't even tried to read Genma's lips.
Kakashi was defeated. "He's a Daddy's boy...A sub with daddy issues. All Daddies' boys are brats if you're not up to the standard their Daddies set, which is an impossible standard..." Honestly, how was anyone supposed to live up to the standard of a Dom and a paternal figure?
"It could be worse. He could be a little," Izumo reasoned, though it was obvious he found the situation funny. It turned out Neji was his little brother in behaving.
Kotetsu groaned in disgust. "The worst part is Daddies' boys are good boys!"
"Why are you even part of this community if you won't obey?" It was a years long disagreement between the best friends that had yet to come to a conclusion. Izumo, as a true submissive, just could not understand.
"...Hold on..."
All five eyes fell on Gai, who seemed to finally be understanding what he had just witnessed. The chuunin were curious if he would, and Kakashi was hopeful.
"...GENMAAA!!!"
"Oh," was Kakashi's sudden realization that Genma was Gai's teammate and a 33-year-old man that Gai's 18-year-old student was definitely sleeping with...and calling Daddy. Kakashi wrapped him in a restraining embrace and shouted to the other two. "Tell Daddy and his boy that Gai's about to make sure Genma goes out to get some milk and never comes home."
