awww, that’s really sweet 🥺 i feel like edgar does like having someone who can keep up with him personally since he’s got more stamina then the average person normally would now, besides that also enjoying link’s company in general! he definitely sees link as a friend. i could see them having the kind of friendship where they can just sit in silence and enjoy the peace and quiet. kind of like? not feeling pressured to converse? when he’s around link, because so much of interacting with people normally involves being expected to talk all the time

but fr, thank you for liking it D: i really don't have a 'way' because i just write when i feel like it. i usually have to sike myself up to write and like get into the mood. (for example, to write scaramouche, i sat listening to 'awake from a nightmare' for 10 minutes on repeat, in silence, and then kept the song repeating for the rest of the time) now i realise i usually pick a song (usually an ost) that fits the scene or character and just,,,,replay it until it's ingrained into my brain.
