Their music and dance have been highly praised throughout the world and Kindia singing is particularly famous. The country is not big on tourism, but it has real potential. There are some good-value hotels in the capital town of Conakry with basic facilities. Accommodation choices become sparse outside of the city, but hotels can also be found in Labé Kindia, Dalaba and Katikan. Smart planning and advance arrangements are necessary for coordinating lodging and logistics. Flights into Guinea are mostly available from European capitals like Paris, Brussels and Belgium, where connections can be made from elsewhere in the world. The transportation system within the country is underdeveloped, so you cannot rely on the irregularity of services to get from place to place. However, taxis are widely available and Bush taxis are the primary means of getting around. Guinea may be hopelessly unprepared for tourism, but its hidden gems are enough to spark the interest of the most daring and intrepid travelers. The capital may be lacking skyscrapers and memorable architecture, but it is surrounded by lush botanical gardens and stunning landscapes. EXCLUSIF- Électricité : le bateau turc sera dans les eaux de Conakry dans 18 jours !

Les coupures répétées d’électricité sous le CNRD pourraient être un lointain souvenir. Les autorités militaires ont décidé de ramener le bateau, centrale thermique flottante, turc dans les eaux de Conakry.

Selon une source proche du dossier, le bateau turc qui a déjà bougé arrivera à Conakry dans 18 jours -sauf dernière décision- pour combler le déficit de courant dans le Grand Conakry qui a provoqué des émeutes meurtrières ces derniers jours dans plusieurs villes du pays notamment à Kindia où deux enfants ont été tués par balles.

Nos sources indiquent que cette opération serait pilotée par un opérateur économique Kassus Dioubaté, fils d’une ancienne ministre de l’Energie sous Lansana Conté.

Au début du règne du CNRD- la junte qui a renversé le président Alpha Condé en septembre 2021-, des cadres dont l’ancien ministre guinéen de l’Energie Ibrahima Abé Sylla avaient convaincu le colonel d’alors Mamadi Doumbouya de rompre le contrat du bateau turc qui coûtait selon eux cher à la Guinée.

« Pendant mon temps passé à la tête de ce département, ce bateau coûtait 8 millions de dollars par mois. Et ça c’est trop quand vous regardez le budget guinéen. Et tout ça, c’est parce qu’ils avaient arrêté deux autres centrales qui appartenaient à l’État, Kaloum 1 et 3 parce que tout simplement il avait des petites choses à réparer. À notre arrivée, on a pu redémarrer et ça donnait bien. Cela a donc permis de donner la force réelle en stabilisant non seulement le réseau, mais ça pouvait produire pas mal aussi d’énergie jusqu’à 30 à 35 mégawatts. Ceci dit, l’ensemble de ces productions était de telle sorte que l’on pouvait couvrir l’ensemble des besoins du Gouvernement et de l’État guinéen », a révélé lundi M. Sylla dans l’émission Les Grandes Gueules de la radio Espace fm. Une semaine avant, le Premier ministre Amadou Oury Bah déclarait que les barrages manquaient d’eau.
