Like was billy a terrible person at times? Yes, but ships, fanfics, headcanons they are all technically AUs. If people get upset that you ship them with a basically AU version of billy then honey that’s on them, they asked you for your opinion. You are going out of your way and time, doing this all for free for someone else’s pleasure. Whenever I’ve gotten shipped with a character I might not be fond of or know much about I’m still grateful and happy with whatever I get! I look at the character differently and I understand the outcome of what they saw for them to think I’d go well with that character. Someone is asking your opinion, you give them your opinion and if they don’t like it, oh well. They can imagine it’s someone else or go ask for a ship from someone else. This is all make believe fantasy worlds, if they get upset or butt hurt or anything like that, they can go like stub their toe or something idk. Also If the person is so dead set on not getting a certain character they can just always ask nicely “hey ship me with anyone besides this character, I don’t like their vibes, etc, etc.” hope this all made sense! I haven’t slept lol. Anyways, sending you good vibes!

Listen truthfully if I got shipped with billy I’d be a lil like “aha hey,,” in the fact that you think he would actually ever like me in that sort of way, that this cocky ass beautiful man who can get anyone would actually like me like me. Maybe I’m just lonely tho

no literally this bc if we’re being honest billy will never respect anyone fully until he goes through therapy- like im not trying to be rude but i mean c’mon it’s billy…which is why im hesitant to ship him like honestly what am i supposed to say “and he’ll take u on super cute dates to the mall😍” (so he can fuck you after 😕) …im not wrong😭

Hello love! I just wanted to thank you for the ship (I was the one with eddie and steve rodgers). I absolutely loved it. I was feeling really bad yesterday and I read it right before going to bed and it really cheered me up like I had the biggest smile. So thank you very much it was so so sweet.

So I thought about your billy ask and I personally wouldn't mind if I would get shipped with him as he is part of the show and as you said you would use a hc. And you said you likely wouldn't use him as much so if you really think that he fits as a ship then I think that's fine. And if others don't want to get him they maybe could put that in the request so that you wouldn't ship him with them.

But if you don't feel comfortable using him you totally don't have to! 🤍

yeah but i also don't want someone new to my blog to see their ship and think something bad, because i would be shipping them with basically a hc of billy...so is that even a real stranger things ship? i feel like i am overthinking this way more then it needs to be🧍
