I finished the Green Creek series in a week and a day, if that ain't some mystical moon magic shit idk what is. I started during the longest full moon of the year and am finished during a waning gibbous. somewhere in my soul, an old Galliard garou is howling a grateful wolfsong. I feel... green. Man if i had infinite money i’d figure out how to produce an adaptation of TJ Klune’s Green Creek books for HBO so I could keep in all the (non-sexual) nudity and (very sexual) gay relationships between werewolves. And to make sure all the human to wolfman to giant wolf shifts look fucking amazing. A mixture of practical make-up and CGI. Each book would be a season, and since the series is done we won’t have a GoT situation! Probably about…8-10 episodes per season, and I’d have them film the parts of Ravensong that happen at the same time as Wolfsong while filming Season 1. Yeah there’d be a lot of (mostly male) nudity, but I think a mostly-LGBTQ+ cast and production staff could thread the needle of balancing respectful, tasteful, and juicy manly beefy eye candy.
