Torts getting suspended for two games is an absolute joke and shows how much of a disgrace this officiating and league is as a hole.

Torts getting thrown out of the game was an absolute joke and should never happen and then also given a two minute bench minor on top of it. Then Hathaway getting a 10 minute misconduct because of a “shove” last night is beyond pathetic. Last nights game was a shit show and disgrace of officiating that I have ever seen!

I’m so happy that the whole team rallied behind Torts and that guys you wouldn’t expect started in players faces and drop the gloves like Coots and Cam. Also love that the entire front office is behind Torts as well. If this was Fletchers era homie wouldn’t have done or said shit.

I've noticed how, among the students, Akk's grudge against Dika, the "traitor", seems to run deeper than everyone else's. Hell, he's even the only one who talks about him negatively, in contrast to Kan, who outright misses him:

Dika, as Teacher Chadok's assistant, and Akk, as the president of the prefect club were in similar positions, they both had to keep an eye on the students and make sure they didn't act out of line. (How much of that job Dika actually did, I can't tell. After all, he sympathized with the world remembers gang and could have used his position to support them somehow.)

These two must have worked together a lot in the past. They must have shared their responsibilities and helped each other. In episode 3 Akk defended Teacher Sani, who is Dika's replacement, in front of Chadok without much of a second thought. Maybe he and Dika did the the same thing for each other.

Akk knows he is not alone, he has his friends who support him. But even they are powerless to help him when Teacher Chadok is involved. In this one thing, he is alone, save for Dika, the only other person who has to deal with Chadok and has the power to defend Akk from him.

So imagine the betrayal Akk must have felt when the one person who helped him carry the burden of his responsibilities as prefect just leaves. He doesn't know Dika is dead. He believes he went to their rival school.

Akk's resentment isn't because of his loyalty to Suppalo; it's personal.

To everyone who has the nerve to say that hockey doesn’t belong in the desert is a fucking piece of shit and has no sport knowledge at all. Arizona is a sports state…Phoenix, Glendale…etc are sport cities. What these owners did to this organization, the players, the staff, the ushers, the fans and all the above is absolutely disgusting and heartless.

How are we supposed to grow the game and give the youth the chance to live their dreams of playing the sport that they or working in a sports department that they love if we keep going backwards and hiring owners who will never give a shit about anything as long as their pockets are filled.

My heart breaks for these players, staff members, venue workers, interns, and most importantly the fanbase. Every single person involved in the Yotes world deserve better!
