So we have two options here:

Marcus will be back before Abby leaves and If so, we get a reunion!!! but another seperation soon after which I’m not sure how to survive.

Or Abby leaves before Marcus comes back but then I think we’re in for a looooong ride of seperation which I’m also not sure how to survive.

An Update

A thing I feel like I should say: I’m going to be taking a bit of a fandom break, or at least stepping back for a little while. Real life is incredibly crazy (in a good way! Finally!) right now, I don’t have as much time to inhabit my favorite fictional worlds as I used to, I have friends coming to visit me in the next few weeks and then I move into my apartment and then school starts and then I have grad school to think about/plan for, etc. 

A few more T100-specific reasons under the cut: 

T100, and the direction they’ve run with Abby's storyline, has been very hard on me this season to the point where I can’t bring myself to watch the most recent episode. I’ve tried. For my mental and emotional health, I need to maintain a little distance between me and everything that’s happened and is happening. I (probably) plan to keep up with the show for professional journalistic reasons, but it’s been hard on my fandom heart and I, like so many others, definitely have some opinions on how Abby’s storyline has been handled thus far.

I want my friends and beloved KabbyFam to know that if I’m not responding or I’m absent for a bit on Slack or Twitter or anywhere else, it doesn’t mean I’m angry, or hurt, or upset with, or ignoring anyone. My real life is just incredibly busy this summer, and I just can’t inhabit the fandom headspace and environment as passionately as I used to. And with how happily chaotic my life has become, I’ve not had the time to (nor is it a pleasant place when I go there, in my brain). But I love you all so, so much, and continue to do so, and hope you can understand. 

TL;DR - I’m super excited about real life, and sad/pissed/heartsick about the show, and for both irl and show-related reasons I’m taking a little bit of a break. I love you guys, as always.
