Art history. How well you do is 50% how well you write. The first impression you give is 100% how well you write. Then is there a manual for this? No. They tell us to have proper and nice academic writing, but 90% of the adults out there, whom I respect enormously for their research, just wax poetic about the art they love in their very formal very serious publications.

So I'm constantly trying to determine how much praise is too subjective? For I know that those adults also manage to convey their points in such clarity WHILST composing a prose for them?
