Nighttime Cuddle

okay yes i know i have several prompts waiting for me to work on, im gonna get to em i swear ; ;/

BUT have this to maybe tide y'all over for a bit till i can get my shit together. Borrowing @stuffems lad Jasper..cause im gay alright?

The movie marathon that was supposed to be for two hours had winded up being six on accident when you heard one of your movie watching partners Jasper say he hadn't seen one of your favorite movies before. The others had long since called it a night, leaving you and him yawning on the communal couch as the credits finally started rolling.

During the long film you had wound up reclining against the much bigger man, finding out he made a fantastic pillow and movie commentator alongside your own antics. You were comfortably warm resting against him and the siren call of sleep was starting to win against your defiant attempts at staying awake a few more minutes.

A long yawn roused you a bit as Jasper was apparently fighting the same battle you were, and giving in willingly by the looks of things.

"Tha movie was good n all but ah think we oughta call it a day, can't keep m'dang eyes open nother minute.."

"Yeah...Don't think I can even make it to my bed with how tired I feel right now. Guess I can crash on the couch for tonight." "Oh now that ain't gonna do, this rickey piece of junk's gonna mess yer dang back up somethin fierce if y'all try sleepin on it..Tell ya what, if ya don't mind sharin a bed for one night, y'all can spend tha night with me."

"Wait really..? If you're sure you don't mind, well I won't say no."

"Course! Ah wouldn't leave a lil thing like y'all out in tha cold like that. Ah'm man enough ta not mind sharin my bed with a friend now n then. Let's get ta movin before we both wind up passin out on tha couch though."

You gave a tired nod and managed to pull yourself from the cowboys warmth long enough to get off the damn couch and follow behind him towards his lodgings.

You didn't bother changing aside from slipping off your shoes and socks, leaving both by his door as you prepped for sleep as Jasper did much the same in the small bathroom nearby. Soon both of you were cleaned up and ready to pass out in the cosy looking bed nearby. It was alot damn bigger than yours by a good margin, then again Jasper easily had a few feet on you as well in the size category. You'd be able to stretch out with no problem, once you got into the bed of course.

Being the guest you let Jasper get in first and make himself comfortable before climbing in on the opposite side with some effort. Once you got up you wasted no time in ducking under the covers and making yourself comfortable, while giving Jasper a polite amount of space. His back was facing you as you got settled at long last, hugging a pillow to your side and feeling yourself relax as the much bigger man beside you turned the light off.

"G'night, hope y'all sleep alright tonight. If ya need anythin don't worry bout wakin me up okay?"

"Don't worry I think I'll be knocked out well until morning Jasper, g'night and sleep well!"

"Heh, Ah think Ah'll do much tha same at this point. Sleep well~"

It wasn't much longer after that when sleep claimed both of you with ease.

You woke up sometime in the middle of the night feeling a rather heavy weight slowly settling itself over you and gently squeezing you. Bleary eyed you tried to shift to see what was going on, and in the dim light of the room you figured out what was going on and felt your face start to heat up.

Jasper had turned over in his sleep and grabbed the pillow you were using to hug against himself..And in the process he had shifted to partially lay against you. You were flush to most of his chest by your back and now were pinned in place thanks to him hugging the pillow and trapping you inbetween it and his arm. If you angled your head a bit you could make out the mans sleeping face a ways above you, serenely still sleeping despite bearhugging you to himself.

..It wasn't bad if you were being honest with yourself, hugged close like this in such a gentle way. You liked Jasper plenty, he was a sweetheart of a man by anyones standard. He probably even knew how getting hugged by him now and then gave you fucking butterflies, it didn't help that he liked lifting you off your feet in the process thanks to just how much bigger he was than you.

You could wake him up and he'd move..but did you really want that? He was unfairly warm, not unbearably so but that lovely middleground that made him somehow perfect for cuddling like this. He wasn't crushing you either, the pillow gave just enough of a buffer to make it feel like you were under a heavy blanket. In short, somehow Jasper had managed to cuddle you close to him in his sleep, and it was unfairly nice...It was like he was subconsciously teasing you.

With Jaspers warmth slowly seeping into you, sleep was quickly once again overcoming you. And frankly you didn't mind going back to sleep like this, you knew you'd get teased good naturedly come morning, but right now you couldn't help but want to savor being in the large mans embrace like this until sleep forced your eyes to slip shut once more.

Several hours later, Jasper woke up feeling oddly very refreshed. He was about to shift when he remembered last night, and him inviting you to share his bed. He had also became aware of himself hugging something close under the blankets, and at first thought it was his spare pillow..before looking down and seeing you curled up adorably against him.

Fighting back the urge to coo and wake you up ruffling your head, he opted to hug you a big closer, feeling you shift and wiggle just a big against him. You were just too damn cute like that, he couldn't hold back the deep chuckle from rumbling out of his chest.

"Mornin sleepyhead, looks like we both slept pretty good huh?"

You woke up feeling warm and cosy still, before you outright felt a laugh roll over you..looks like Jasper caught you. Feeling your face heat up again you huffed and nodded, only feeling a tiny bit embarassed.

"Well I can't say I did..though I didn't know you really liked to cuddle in your sleep.."

"Eh, who can blame me when someone as adorable as yerself is beside em haha~ Oh c'mon don't hide like that, Ah'm jus teasin!"

"Lemme gooo already Jasper, you big damn teddy bear!"

You whined but Jasper's only retort was to hug you tighter and laugh more. Despite it all you'd say it was a good start to the morning regardless.
