analyzing the most popular ships for katsuya jonouchi/joey weela and coming to the conclusion that this man prefers either a) polite short goths (e.g. ryou, yugi, atem) or b) tall mean leggy people (e.g. Mai, seto, honda, feared crimelord marik ishtar his friend namu :}). his bisexual swag is off the charts fr

Joey weela 👀
Um. Every moment. Next question.
-> Okay speaking about Joseph's love from the Fandom, I find that only a handful of people actually resist giving him what I call Sokka Syndrome, where they take some of his outstanding personality traits (i.e his attitude with Kaiba, bickering with Tristan, love of food; anything that is used for comic relief) and just water them down until he's just . Completely devoid of intelligence in some cases. I don't think Joey is the smartest guy ever, but I find that a lot of his more serious, ENDEARING and powerful moments are kind of overshadowed by not only the generalization of Joey from us but even the anime writers as well.
-> I find that Jounouchi is one of the only characters that truly makes a 180 from start to finish and I think THAT in itself is severely underappreciated. I think this one is highly appreciated but I will never forget how Jou could have just picked Yugi up when they were caught in the fire, but instead he made sure to rescue the puzzle too because of how important it was to Yugi. We see this transformation happen in the early manga, from Joey being upset at how obsessed Yugi is with his puzzle and even tossing a piece into the fountain so Yugi, to going out of his way several times (like with that gang member that beat up Yugi and stole the puzzle at the arcade) to retrieve the puzzle for Yugi. I think his transformation as a character is underappreciated enough that even in his more memorable moments it still could use MORE recognition. Because I love him.
