i love how seeing how much faith she has in gojo. not even breaking a sweat. coupled with her cursed energy/medical knowledge, her commentary felt so reassuring compared to the stress of the other characters

a lil megumi drabble while i get back on my grinddd :) ik ive been ia for too long dont jump me now 😒

it was cold, and you made the smart decision to listen to your weather app, against megumi’s discretion because he argued that they weren’t always that accurate. but you let your stubbornness get the better of you and chose not to heed his warning. so you’re now walking the bustling city streets with your hands wrapped around yourself for warmth, the crisp winter air slicing at your skin. megumi looks over at you with a sympathetic smile. “just take my jacket y/n.” he said, handing his jacket over to you. you refused unable to let your boyfriend have the satisfaction knowing that he was right. he shrugged in response not wanting to push you any further.

you were grateful that your love for window shopping got you away from the cold for a brief moment of time. as you browsed through several stores appearing interested in what they had on offer even though you knew that most of the clothes they had weren’t your style. it was around the sixth store that megumi couldn’t withold his concern any longer. he gently grabbed your hand, trying to get your attention. “wait here, love.” he said kissing the top of your head before walking away, confusion was apparent on your face but megumi turned back and gave you a reassuring smile. it seemed like hours had passed before megumi returned with a cup of hot chocolate and a shopping bag in his hands. he handed you a cup of the steaming hot cocoa. “you’re literally shivering babe, this’ll warm you up.” you held the drink before taking a light sip, feeling the instant warmth of the hot cocoa hitting your body.

you let out a content sigh whilst megumi looked at you with a small smile. “you are the most stubborn person i have ever met.” he said, you playfully rolled your eyes at him but your attention was quickly averted to the bag he was carrying. “what’s in that bag?” you asked curiously. “why don’t you find out?” he answered with a coy smile. you opened the bag to find a cute puffer jacket similar to the one he was wearing. “i wanted to find a jacket that didn’t mess up the rest of your outfit, which took me like forever by the way.” he added with a shy smile. you were in disbelief that he went to this much effort for your stubborn ass, you didn’t know that you could love your boyfriend more than you did right now. “megumi you didnt—” your words being cut off by megumi placing his finger on your lips. “baby i had to seeing you shivering made my heart crack, plus i cant have my girl freezin’ on me can i?” he replied with a smirk.

“i hate you.” you replied in mock annoyance, “you know you don’t mean that babe.” he said, wrapping his arm around you as you both headed out of the mall.
