Episode 4 ~ Redemption
Jameson had not expected much from Mr. Leavitt and so he simply moved on when denied.
This time the scent that filled the room was that of fire, of things burned to a crisp. Things like carpet, walls, floors, anything else that was in the house that day. The presence of Jerry Reed was almost overbearing and this was a spirit that Jameson knew he could never toy with. Sometimes he'll bring a spirit with him, he'll allow it to share his body and this way he's able to do things he could never do.
He would never do such a thing with Jerry. Mr. Reed was a man who had murdered at least eleven women. At least. There was always a chance that there were more victims, more corpses discarded in long abandoned homes. Corpses that were never in one piece because Jerry did unspeakable things to those women.
"Finally," the man said as he paced, eager to be out of his cage. He was one of the few spirits that completely understood his captivity. Others, like Mr. Leavitt, didn't seem to fully comprehend it.  "Who do you want dead, little sorcerer?"
"No one," Jameson said firmly, feeling a pinch of guilt because Jerry's question forced him to admit that despite how he felt about the killer he was good at one thing. Killing. Jameson had used his services before but only, he felt at least, when it was absolutely needed. "I may call on you again for that service, Jerry, but right now I need someone found."
"Is it a woman?" his question dripped with thirst. It made Jameson tremble even because he knew what this spirit could do if he allowed it to possess him even for a day. He knew that feeling, fighting his own body for control.
"Y-yes, Jerry, it is a woman, a powerful woman who-"
"They always think they are powerful, don't they? They are always so brave, running their mouths until you SHUT it!" The man laughed then, a sound that seemed to bounce off the walls, a sound that made Jameson grit his teeth. "I do love sealing their mouths, for good, and I love using their-"
"ENOUGH!" Jameson’s shout filled the room and he used every ounce of his power to dismiss Jerry. He was sure the spirit would be able to find Faba but his very presence sickened him and he always worried that the longer Jerry stuck around the more power the spirit gained. Perhaps it would be time to destroy such a spirit for good...

"Now the folks from down South Louisiana said Amos was a hell of a man.
He could trap the biggest, the meanest alligator, and just use one hand.
That's all he got left 'cause an alligator bit it!
Left arm gone, clean up to the elbow!"
