If you guys ordered the A Fire in the Flesh merch box from the JLA shop and you don't want spoilers for either the box or the book, please scroll on. Because I'm about to fangirl the fuck out.

First off, a huge thank you to the JLA shop and Jennifer L Armentrout for making and offering this merch box. It is incredible and we are not worthy of such greatness. I was not expecting a box this awesome, in quality or care.

But I'm going to enjoy it, regardless of my worth, nonetheless.

First, look upon the greatness that is the freaking box it came in. And how the quote finishes itself when opened. It's just too cute!

Everything in this box is amazing. The blanket is so soft and a perfect counterpart to the one I ordered for the release of A Light in the Flame a year ago. The T-shirt is too cute, the artwork phenomenal and all of the other trinkets are such fun!

But I'd like to pay special attention to one trinket in particular.

One that contains major spoilers for AFITF!

One that made me so excited I danced around the kitchen and cried.

One I doubt that anyone who hasn't read the book will understand.

I swear, the attention to detail and the love for the readers will never cease to amaze me.

"Which trinket?" you're probably asking.

The box that has stood on Ash's nightstand for three books now.

The box that answered one of the silliest but most pressing questions of ALITF.

One that they freaking answered in the merch itself!

Short Story Project Day 16

Read: “Oomph” by Emery Lord in Meet Cute edited by Jennnifer L. Armentrout (2018)

Genre: YA, romance

Loved this short story about a meet cute in the airport. Lord stuck the landing in this one with an excellent ending. I recently took a long train trip via Amtrak and ended up making conversation with a cute guy who was taken (he mentioned his partner) but we never exchanged names. I still wish I would have asked him. It was nice to see those fleeting, in-transit meetings in this short story. And yay Cassidy for taking a chance and putting yourself out there. I’m glad to see it was rewarded.
