Favorite moment: I don't have one in particular, other than she help Star forget about Marco and Jackie in Bon Bon the Birthday clown

Idea for a story: More like one shots of how she is, how she finds her relationship with magical creatures (specially demons) and what not, just her being herself

Unpopular opinion: As much as I like that she took a new role in the remaining of the series, I feel it wasn't necessary, I like her yeah I prefer her to have her moments every now and then

It was a quiet day in Gravesfield. A certain sweethearted celestial boy with otherworldly fluffy lavender hair was spending some time with his beloved big sister Luz and her girlfriend Amity at the Noceda Household.

Colli wanted to watch 'The End Of Evangelion'. "Colli, I don't think it's a good idea to watch it." Amity spoke up. "Amity is right. It could be disturbing for you, Colli." Luz said softly. "Do you think so?" Colli asked innocently.

"Yes. We're sorry!" "It's ok! If you say it's bad for me, than I'm not going to watch it." The kindhearted starboy said with a understanding smile.

Amethyst for the Character meme

Pick a character I’ve written and I will explain the top ~three to five ideas/concepts/etc I keep in mind while writing that character that I believe are essential to accurately depicting them.

Amethyst is very blunt, but not very good at expressing her own opinions or feelings! Watch a scene where she’s talking about anyone else- “ It won't help. She can hand Peridot over on a silver platter, but it won't make up for the stunt she pulled...”- versus how she tries to talk about her feelings- she literally spends the entire day with her gem cracked trying to make Steven laugh bc she doesn’t know how to handle or deal with the stress it’s putting everyone under.

Amethyst is the most outwardly social of the Gems, but that’s not saying much. She hangs out with, like, two humans. She hadn’t seen one of them in like 15 years. 

While Amethyst was the one who put Steven in the most danger at the start, by the end of the show she’s probably the one most in-tune with what to keep him away from. She’s the only Gem for the longest time who recognizes Steven’s own problems, tries to create open communication, and actively looks out for him when Garnet and Pearl are busy. Don’t make her into a glorified nanny, but she’s not gonna yeet him into spikes or shit anymore either.

Never sits still! Amethyst talks in flapping hands and pacing and animated gestures- much like Pearl, but Pearl’s actions tend to be more demonstrative (if she’s talking about swords she’ll jab, if she’s reading something out loud she’ll run a finger under the line she’s on, etc etc) while Amethyst is more just. Naturally restless.

Janna Ordonia

First impression

TBH, I wasn’t impressed with Janna at all at first, considering she only had a minute cameo in her debut episode. But after watching Girl’s Day Out, she kinda grew on me and I was invested to see what more she could do and her friendship with Star.

Impression now

Now...I’m kinda meh on her. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate Janna now, I just don’t have the same feelings for her as I did back when I was in the show. Maybe it’s because I felt how flat she is a character as the show went on. Granted, she never got hit by the character derailment stick, but I just felt there was missed potential for her (and there is some problematic topics like how toxic she is to Marco that @jess-the-vampire brought up, but I don’t have much to say on that).

Favorite moment

Pretty much any moment with her and Star. 

Idea for a story

More stories with her and Star hanging out together, they’re relationship is underrated.

Unpopular opinion

I don’t like jan//tom, though unlike with st@rco where I was neutral on it till the shippers and the show ruined it for me, I never cared for jan//tom at all.

I felt they would have no chemistry, romantically or not, at all considering their personalities, even the episode they appeared together pretty much proved it. They were pretty much the equivalent of two people being forced to work together only to get along when it comes to a certain goal. And I didn’t trust most of the fandom’s reasons for it to work since it’s either flimsy (like Janna being into occult stuff and Tom being a demon) or just stuff made up by the fandom.

But another reason I don’t like the ship is how I felt it only exists because of st@rco, mainly to get Tom out of the way of the ship. And it’s not helped that, like how they are with st@rco, the shippers can get really pushy with the ship and try to say that jan//tom should have been canon. When, like let’s be real, jan//tom is and always was a crackship.

Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against crackships (I have some myself), but when the fandom gets pushy about it that’s where I get annoyed and ending up hating it. It’s like iron//strange all over again.

So yeah, I don’t like ship. Say what you will about tomstar and tomco, as much as I don’t ship them, at least Tom has good chemistry with Star and Marco respectively. Jan//tom is just a run-of-the-mill, pair the spares, crackship.

Star Butterfly becomes a tomboy and listens to stuff like Fall Out Boy, Lil Nas X, Panic! At The Disco, Bring Me The Horizon, My Chemical Romance, Mod Sun, Jxdn, Hayley Kiyoko, Machine Gun Kelly, blink-182, Iann Doir, Yungblud, 3!OH3, 100 gecs, Paramore, and twenty one pilots and is in relationship with Janna

I think tomboy Star is a pretty likely outcome honestly! She has several athletic hobbies, like swordplay and (at first) monster hunting. And with all that energy and nowhere to put it she’d probably eventually pick up a sport, wear a uniform, and come to love how comfy sportswear is! (as opposed to like.. armor and such from Mewni, which is restricting!) We also already know she loves Music from earth, so expanding those horizons is totally in for her once things have settled down a bit~
