We're excited to announce that JancyWeek2023 is officially in the works 💖 Like previous years, we are aiming for Jancy week to happen around the time of late October/early November but no official dates have been set.

Right now, we are looking to add people to our mod team who can help with the planning process. Come share your ideas, give feed back and support to others, and talk Jancy with a bunch of other fans. @jancyweeks Day 1: Apocalypse OR New Love

For day ones prompt I decided to draw post S2 Jancy to the last bit of Just Like Heaven. I put Nancy in the striped sweater that was left behind in her room and Jonathan has the scrunchie Nancy wore for the rest of S1 around his wrist. In my head they did a little trade when they started dating.

Also for the rest of this event, I’ll be linking the songs that either inspired me, fit the mood, or I listened to on loop for the majority of it as I do associate music with these two a lot. For this first drawing, it’s obviously Just Like Heaven as I mentioned already I used some of the lyrics.

He was moving her blanket and comforter out of the danger zone when he paused to frown at her. “What do you mean?” She rolled carefully out of bed, landing nimbly on her feet and gesturing at the shockingly bright splotches of blue ink spread over her bed. “I mean that they’re kind of a lost cause.” “We can just wash them,” he said, giving her a weird look for some reason—just a flash of something unreadable while he hopped up beside her. “How do you even get ink out of cotton?” she asked. “It’s everywhere. Worse than surprise period stains.”
