i want to share the drawings I've done recently but I think I might be skewered and laughed at if I share them

Hi! I absolutely loooove your work! I was wondering if you had any tips for aspiring artists/animators? (I am one, but I'm too afraid to post my work on tumblr lol)

Hi there! (sorry it took me so long to respond :( ) My best advice for you would be to practice as much as possible! even crappy drawings are good for your development- trust me i have tons scattered amongst my school work lol. I also suggest spending some time outside and drawing whatever you see. ALSO DONT BE AFRAID OF REFERENCES!! I use pinterest a fuck ton for clothes ref and pose refs! (try to use real people photos tho- it’s good anatomy practice) also I know this is lame to say but DONT BE AFRAID TO POST ONLINE! even if only one person likes it or reblogs it, its ok!! I made the mistake of posting my art online later on- I still hesitate to post doodles/sketches because I dont think they’re good enough- YOU NEVER KNOW!! tbh people’s comments can really help you fix your art and even give you confidence moving forward :) but yea pinterest, and oh redrawing movie scenes or dance videos is always great practice! I hope this rambling helps you XD
