The nightclub I go to has stopped taking down their 15 foot skeleton after Halloween and are instead dressing him up for different events. Last time he was covered in glow sticks for a rave. This time he’s wearing bunny ears for Easter. I feel like Itori would do this at her bar. She refuses to pack up the giant skeleton decoration because it’s funny, they just put hats on it if the occasion calls for it

Eid Mubarak everyone! Some Tokyo Ghoul Halalverse headcanons for the day and some for this month! A lot of these are courtesy of @backgroundcharacterno7 <3

Haise spends his Eid morning stress cooking he forgets to read his verses at least bc he couldn’t go to Eid prayer. If henna is involved Saiko is smudging that shit to play Project Diva on her PSP. Mutsuki is helping Haise in the kitchen to manage the stress and has a hard dysphoria day going to the masjid. Urie would try to work out extra hard after sehri/suhoor and passes out.

Furuta is banned from the masjid because he keeps shouting “I HAVE A BOMB”, sister Rize is nowhere to be found because he cannot lower his gaze.

Hysy Artmask Studio makes bank on chaandrat because he’s doing everyone’s mehendi. Itori reveals a little more skin the more the next Muslim dudebro asks her to wear the hijab.

Eto probably didn’t even bother to celebrate because she’s like “I didn’t even fast all month” but gets push from Hinami and maybe Naki. Naki is still trying to recite Surahs as we speak. It’s going just as well as you think.

Kimi is fighting the WhatsApp aunties all Ramadan, Nishiki keeps trying to lecture Touka about the hijab only to get strangled with one. Hinami and Touka are the ones that have to take care of all the kids on Eid, and at least gets them candy or coffee in smaller doses.

Ayato tried to sit around food throughout his fasts to prove how much of a tough guy he is.

Juuzou goes to Eid prayer and parties for food, Hanbee has to watch him before someone tries to tell Juuzou to move to the ladies section and about how permissible his stitches are. Hanbee is also left to single parent on Eid.

itori! what an underexplored character

Sexuality Headcanon: i don't really have any, but that woman fucks (as a means of wringing information out of her clients).

Gender Headcanon: also none.

A ship I have with said character:

Uta for one very specific purpose: the alternate plotline that places Uta as a full-blooded human, and the two of them tried and failed to have a child (resulting in a miscarriage). it speaks to how much she knows about the conception of one-eyed ghouls, and also gives her a much more personal connection to her speech in :re where she tells renji about how much she hates the world for favoring humans as the "moral" species. it has the side effect of giving uta an interesting jealousy arc, where he is a human who has wanted nothing more than to be a ghoul. it would also further explain why they are in the clowns and renji, whose motivation stems from specific anger toward arima, isn't.

A BROTP I have with said character: renji! his door's always open for her. wish they interacted more!

A NOTP I have with said character: nothing comes to mind; she's... flexible ;]

A random headcanon: she has a rinkaku kagune, and has the unique gimmick of inducing ROS (or something) with it like an injection. call her scorpion :] (shamelessly stolen from an old discussion with @captain-astors)

General Opinion over said character: very interesting, but wasted potential, as seems to be the norm with female ishida characters. without fandom, i probably would have forgotten who she was (not out of malice; she just has such little screentime to make an impression on most people).

So, in chapter 85 of Tokyo Ghoul, while meeting with the 6th ward ghouls, Kaneki denies his involvement in the ghoul restaurant incident, WITHOUT TOUCHING HIS CHIN.

What is up with that? It confuses me so much, because literally 1 chapter after that he tells Itori that "he didn't have a choice" AKA admitting that it was him.
