as long as you're printing this in portrait orientation without margins on a 8.5x11 inch sheet of paper, this should print out in the correct sizes for 25mm buttons and 37mm buttons respectively

apologies if tumblr shrinking the image size makes the image quality not so great if you print this out as it is, i'd suggest putting it through a threshold filter so it just uses black ink

I can’t get over the fact that post cannon Izutsumi keeps bringing Laios dead monsters as gifts in exchange for money. Peak stray cat behaviour. I am *struggling* to figure out WTF is going on with Izutsumi's bracers. it's starting to feel like the mangaka draws them completely differently every single time they appear.

is it made of two layers of differently-colored leather? is it just one layer of leather worn over her previously-worn black gauntlets? does the line going down them represent that it's two layers and that's where it's folded over on itself? but wait, in that one drawing and no others there are multiple lines going down it, is it a situation where it's multiple "plates" of leather stitched together? what are the bits that go around the wrists and forearms? is the leather folded in on itself at the edges? of is that some strap or cord wrapped around to hold it together?

I am going to go insane. every time I try to make a single decision on how I'm gonna make these things I find a panel in the manga that seems to contradict the look I'm going for. indecision paralysis overload

I think that Izutsumi and Mithrun would be friends but they're the kind of friends who sit in dead silence for three hours and aren't even entirely sure of each other's names. Izutsumi gives Mithrun the foods she doesn't like and he eats them without question, but then he says something completely out-of-pocket about the legal ramifications of free beastkin (which is out of date by thirty years anyway) and Izutsumi scratches the shit out of his arm and the next day they're back to being best buds. Izutsumi is the one who does "he asked for no pickles!" even though he did NOT ask for no pickles she just wants to steal his burger.

#personal #mty #dunmeshi #the difference is izutsumi is a beast but not like one of the strongest monsters or anything #so she always had agency taken away bc she couldnt defend it #also shes more catlike than just not human in general. izu being temperamental is a gag often while w guideau its a power struggle #i'd mention my theory how guideau was originally made as a tool/mightve even been a demon but izutsumi from an early age was changed #so its not like a memorable difference i think #guideau's also focused on revenge and power (while ashaf trying to discourage the power part i think) while izutsumi learns gratitude and #becomes comfortable and feels free to choose #gratitude could definitely become involved w guideau if she develops that way tho
