Flame Core
I got through Flame Core in Sonic 06. I played Shadow's version. I don't know if it is because of the glitches but the level seemed long. My time was 21 minutes. I had gotten a C rank. The level did take me a few lives but I did not get a game over. The hardest parts where making sure Shadow did not run over the edge. Second was avoiding getting hit with Rouge. Rouge's part of the level was my least favorite part. I did not understand what to do. The hint was very vague. I do wish the different parts of the level would be new levels. Like if I get a game over with Rouge I will start with her part not all the way back to the beginning.
I did like the level design. I liked the exploding volcano in the background. At the beginning Shadow is launched up in the air and is wondering about it. I do like how the characters were interacting with the level. At one point there were many enemies and Shadow said something like: "If you get in my way, you're toast". Shadow was so happy to see Rouge as well.
I liked the kindness that Shadow showed Omega in the cutscene before the level. His "yeah" had so much emotion to it. As well as his "Don't touch it". I miss this Shadow. This Shadow is so kind and I would feel save if he is the protector of the world.
This is my thoughts on Shadow's Flame Core in Sonic 06. I will give more updates when I finish a boss or a level.

Got called in to work at my original job... this time subbing at a preschool. Had to leave an hour early to make it to my second job on time. 8:30 am to 11:40 pm is rough when it's a chaotic preschool that you start with...

Richarlyson: This is a good ship that never came to fruition.
Mike: This ship is better than Hideduo. Shut your mouths.

toshiro/shuro is honestly an ok guy from an objective point of view, but man does he have SO MANY things working against him from an audience POV its honestly comedic.
he has little spine and even littler communication skills making him every neurodivergents nightmare, he's straight for falin and tries to propose which every other party member but Laios (who doesnt notice) absolutely hates, he's in a pretty large cast where most of the others are just way more memorable and active in the story then he is, and also his family seems to just. own people??? izutsumi and tade are both described as having been "purchased" to train as retainers and its a bit glossed over or not examined super deeply but man your family is fucked. literally dealt every bad card smh.

A devastating and confusing thing about the Fallout setting, when you explore the pre-war aspects, is what the creators think about pre-war America. In the first games we only get hints of the pre-war world, but they seem to be some sort of wild fascist nation invading Canada. In Fallout 1, the first thing we're introduced to of the pre-war society is seeing a soldier shoot civilians and laughing.
Now, for the first 2 games and New Vegas we don't really know much. What we know is that there's a fascist military group known as the enclave who were a sort of US deep state even before the war, and that the government teamed up with corporate interests to preform vaguely MKULTRA-ish experiments with the Vaults. Basically, the government was an extreme version of the 50s American jingoism and McCarthyism.
This is well and dandy, I guess issues come up more when we get to the later games, especially 4, where it seems like none of this extreme plotting and societal civil unrest which would exist is seen. The society as presented in 4 also seems quite progressive, gay people are featured in the opening, and none of the baggage of say, civil rights not existing are included. Now on a baseline, I don't want settings to be more conservative, homophobic and sexist etc., but it becomes a very confusing setting when it's displayed both as this jingoist extreme thing with fascist tendencies aswell as a progressive place where everyone is seemingly equal. If you're focusing on the 50s as your setting, and American nationalism in the 50s, then you can't have McCarthyism spoofs and anti-communism as a societal paranoia norm while also general equality is the norm without misunderstanding why McCarthyism and nationalist jingoism is bad. A massive harm done in anti-communist paranoia is how it degrades and vilifies any progressive movements (women's rights, civil rights, homosexuality) as being morally un-American and therefore connected to communism. To ignore this just makes any critique of MacCarthyism and jingoism weird!
Basically, pre-war America in Fallout 4 becomes this both sides thing where America is both pure and equal and white fences in every instance that we see as the player (the intro), while also supposedly being this dystopic MacCarthyist hellscape that's broadcasting gladly about their war crimes in Canada, and wants to root out communism. I guess the only fix for this issue without getting into the fine print like they had to do is just not to focus too much on the pre-war world.

Application Rejected
When Danny adopted Cujo he saw him as a puppy, which was a little sad considering the implications. He always thought Cujo was the only one who had stayed, the only one whose soul had persisted. He thought Cujo was alone.
He was wrong. Not all adult dogs and puppies stayed, of course. But many had. Cujo was simply the only one who decided to return to the world of the living, probably because of his obsession with his toy.
One day Cujo showed him where they were all hiding; Danny knew that those dogs had not stayed for the same reason as Cujo, they probably had a myriad of different reasons, and that was fine.
The problem was that excluding some of the adult dogs (that obviously were fine on their own and didn't care), there were many puppies similar to Cujo running around in need of affection and he couldn't adopt them all (besides, Cujo would definitely get jealous). And while many ghosts agreed to take a couple, it wasn't all of them, so Danny did something extreme.
He held an adoption fair in Amity, which was a smashing success. He just forgot that a lot of people in Amity...were usually traveling, and the ghost puppies would follow.
Then, a few days later when a scowling guy showed up (he obviously wasn't part of the general Amity Park population) and demanded a "bright green" puppy, Danny said no and refused his application. He couldn't trust someone with no knowledge with a ghost dog. Although he did offer him a course to learn about their care.
Damian Wayne was offended with his overall assessment. He was obviously the right person to care for one of those pups. So he set out to prove that to the boy in front of him, without hesitation.
