i was very happily basking in being included in the Older Person circle at the party on sunday when the husband of one of the ringer cellists turned to me and asked me if i was in a dorm, to which i told him i was in one of the campus apartments and gave the general area, and he nodded and named it, saying, 'i went to [NAME OF UNIVERSITY]. i lived in those apartments' and at first i was like omg cool! and then i realized that this man was probably old enough to be my grandfather

note: another self-indulgent piece, can be read alongside iskul bukol. as for the requests, i’m so sorry for not posting much of it recently! i’ve been preparing for the start of school (which is tomorrow aAAA) so i’m really sorry for the delay! i’ll try my best to get them out asap ehe.
Artem Wing
A gust of cold wind hits you as soon as you entered the library. Both you and Artem had agreed to meet up to study for an upcoming test later that week in here, and even though you’ve just entered the room, after feeling the chill wash over you, all you wanted to do was take a nap.
Artem immediately spots you upon your entrance. Noticing your fatigued expression, he shrugs off the sweater he was wearing, waiting for you to take a seat before draping it over your shoulders.
You look at him with a questioning glance.
“Take a nap for now. You've worked hard.” He says, flashing you a smile. “As much as we need to study, taking a break is an important thing to do as well.”
“I can’t really afford to take a break right now, you know. We’ve got a lot of tests lined up this week, not to mention the events we need to plan for our club. Speaking of, have you decided on a theme for our intramurals yet? I should-” Artem interrupts you again with a stern look. “I’m not taking no for an answer. Please take a nap, you need it. I’ll wake you up when it’s time to go back to class.”
Seeing as he clearly won’t budge, you end up resting your head onto your arms, leaning on the table. You were gonna pretend to “try” and sleep, just to end up telling him that you couldn’t (and didn’t) need to sleep to prove a point to him, but you eventually succumbed to your tiredness, sleeping on the table while snuggling into his sweater. Artem smiles at the sight, snapping a few photos before going back to his book. After all, he had to study. Who was going to help you review tomorrow if he didn’t?

You took a swig of water, trying to keep yourself awake while walking to your classroom. You’d spent the entire night before working on your research, and had only gotten a couple hours of sleep in. As you entered the classroom, you immediately slumped in your chair, feeling the fatigue starting to seep in even more than it already had. You were trying your best not to fall asleep, but to no avail. Your head was about to drop to your table when a hand caught it seconds away from a loud (and painful) meeting with the surface.
“Are you alright?” Vyn asked as he took his seat beside you, letting go of you as he settled into his seat. “I told you to go to sleep before I ended the call last night, didn’t I?” He sighs, taking a moment to look at you.
“I had to stay up, ok? No one else was working on the project, so I had to do the heavy lifting.” At the mention of your unhelpful groupmates, his eyes darkened. “They didn’t help again? You should tell the teacher to assign you to a different group, or at least tell her to scold your groupmates. You’re too lenient on them, MC.”
“But I don’t want them to get in trouble because they had other responsibilities at home! It’s alright Vyn, I can handle it. I’m sure they’ll help next time.” He shakes his head, cursing your naivety before reaching into his bag’s pocket, pulling out an insulated water bottle.
“Here. I knew you’d be tired, so I bought you something. It’s not coffee though, seeing as you definitely drank a lot of it last night.” You opened it to the unmistakable smell of green tea, made just the way he knew you liked it. You give him an appreciative look before taking a sip, instantly feeling refreshed at the distinct taste.
The tea was a nice touch, but even just Vyn’s presence beside you would have been enough to keep you energized for the rest of the day.
Luke Pearce
“Ok class, today I’ll be giving back your test scores. I am happy to announce that most of you managed to score high on this one, but there are still a few who somehow bombed the test.”
You and Luke exchanged competitive glances, ready to check out the others’ score as soon as the teacher left the room. You both had always been like this, even before you’d both started dating. Initially, it was just a few passing comments exchanged between the both of you, but eventually it turned into a whole tradition between you two. Whoever had the higher score earns a treat from the other person.
“You ready to lose for the 12th time in a row?” Luke says as he walks to your desk with his paper in hand, sitting on your table, ignoring the way you swatted his thigh.
“Please, the last one was a draw. Didn’t we both get a 90%?”
“But mine got a “good job” with a smiley face at the bottom, so I definitely won.” He stuck his tongue out, laughing at your eye roll. “Ok, whatever. Let’s just reveal our scores, ok? In three, two, one!”
Putting your papers side by side, you try your best not to sigh out loud at the big, encircled ‘50/50′ in bright red pen on the upper right corner of his paper. Luke lets out a happy shout, jumping off your desk in happiness.
“Ha! That’s the thirteenth time! How’s it feel, loser?” He stands up and gets all in your face, savoring the annoyance on your face. “Now you owe me a treat!”
Suddenly, an idea pops in your head. You smile deviously.
“A treat, huh?”
“Yeah! This time, I want some fishball from the vendor outside-” He stops in his tracks when he feels your soft lips meet his cheek. You flash him an innocent smile, doing your best to hold in your laughter at his tomato-red face. “How’s that for a treat, Sherlock?”
“Wow, sana all treat! MC, I scored a fifty too! Do I get a kiss on the cheek as well?” Marius’ voice hollers from the back of the classroom, earning him a flying chalkboard eraser to the head.
Marius Von Hagen
All you wanted was to spend the Valentine’s Day program peacefully, but no. Life had other plans for you. You were on the bleachers, chatting with your friends when two girls approached you.
“Excuse me, are you MC?” After getting confirmation from you, they grabbed your wrist and gently tugged you over to their booth, ignoring your protests and your friends’ jeers. “You’ll have to come with us po. Someone signed you up for the love chain event.” Love chain event? Dear God, who in their right mind would rope me into this?
You spent the rest of the walk to the booth wondering who the person was. But as soon as you arrived and saw Marius standing there with his wrist with one hand in a pair of handcuffs looking at you, trying (and miserably failing) to look innocent.
“Oh, MC! What a surprise? Didn’t expect to see you here.” That little shit. He gave you a wide smile, oblivious to the amused looks he was getting from the other students. “Oh man. how exciting is it that we’re going to be stuck together for the next few hours?”
You tried to make a break for it, but failed due to the students blocking your path. With no choice, you begrudgingly stand beside him, letting the event runner cuff you to him. You avoided Marius’ gaze, looking down to hide your growing blush at the close proximity to him.
Suddenly, you felt a warmth encompass your hand. Marius somehow managed to maneuver his hand so that it was holding yours, all while still being in the handcuffs. He raises your entwined hands, your gaze following it, and your eyes meet his in the process. He flashes you a smile, a genuine one.
“Looks like you’re stuck with me for the rest of the day, MC. What do you say, should we go get some barbeque from over there? My treat.” Sighing fondly, you nod your head before suddenly being pulled to the direction of the stand by the strong force that is Marius Von Hagen, causing him to laugh at your empty threats aimed towards him.
One of the club members turned to their president, asking in a confused tone. “Haven’t they been together for six months now? Why did he have to go to our booth to cuff his s/o to himself?”
“Beats me. But hey, at least we got two hundred out of him. I swear, he’s the only person I’ve seen spend this much money on this booth in my three years of running it.”

On December 17, 1969, at Clinica dela Rosa in Malate, Manila, Cesar Felix Bunagan along with his significant other, Melba Balonzo del Valle had a child named Beethoven Michael del Valle Bunagan. Prominently referred to now as Michael V. or on the other hand Bitoy, he was named after the German composer Ludwig Van Beethoven. He was named by his father after seeing a duplicate of Beethoven's LP in his supervisor's office, not knowing that "Beethoven" is the last name.
Bitoy was a sacristan in his younger age school, Tenement Elementary School. He was part of KOA or Knights of the Altar where he belonged to the group of St. Matthew. Bitoy used to play soccer but was obliged to join basketball even though he doesn't have the foggiest idea how to play this because there was a deficiency among players previously. In any case, all things considered, he’s a fan of Billy Beam Bates, a famous ballplayer during that time, he agreed. Since it was his first-time playing ball, he had worn a headband made braided shoelaces, chop trainers, and ripped off his sleeves to match his outfit. Bitoy promised he will recollect that fellow and in the end, they became friends and co-stars in Bubble Gang and Tropang Trumpo. Bitoy's profession started to bloom. He made the response to Andrew E.'s rap Humanap ka ng Panget which is Maganda ang Piliin. Around that point, he was welcomed along with his friend by OctoArts to introduce a demo tape. EARLY LIFE:
Born from Manila, Phillipines, On April 28 1954, Marvic Valentin Castelo Sotto, also known as Vic Sotto. Is the youngest of 4 siblings to Marcelino Ojeda Sotto, Sr. and Dr. Herminia Castelo. In his early career he started as a singer and a guitarist, Sotto was also the lead vocalist for the disco funk band VST & Company. At this time he wrote songs like "Awitin Mo at Isasayaw Ko," "Rock Baby Rock," and "Kung Sakali."
During his time at the band, he was given a chance to join a 1970s gagshow called “Ok lang” with his brothers Vicente Sotto also known as Tito and Val Sotto where they met a comedian named Joey De Leon who encouraged the brothers to join him. Tito, Vic, and Joey (TVJ) were thus established, and they were cast in Iskul Bukol. This marked as the beginning of the trio called TVJ.
EMERGENCE OF TVJ:
Tito, Vic, and Val Sotto were invited to co-host an episode of GMA Network's late afternoon variety show Discorama hosted by Bobby Ledesma in 1976 by former OK Lang co-star Joey de Leon. Tito and Vic were the only ones who accepted de Leon's invitation. The newly formed trio began doing comedy newscast segments interspersed with parodies of Top 40 hit songs. The trio's presence was meant to be a one-time invitation because Discorama was about to be canceled, but after positive comments from fans and excellent ratings, GMA management gave the show a fresh lease of life. The trio was eventually invited to appear on the noontime show Student Canteen after releasing 12 CDs based on their Discorama Tough discography.
The series Iskul Bukol catapulted them to national prominence as comedians. Soon after, numerous TV and film opportunities knocked on the trio's door.In 1979, Tito, Vic and Joey began hosting the noontime show Eat Bulaga!, which took on the more established Student Canteen. Not long after that Student Canteen was knocked down in the ratings. The trio is still active on both Holy Week Dramas and Eat Bulaga comedy's variety show during the Lenten season.
Throughout their careers, they had made various songs and movies together namely doctor doctor we are sick, send in the clowns, Tartan and arguably their most prominent movie Iskul bukol. With them toping the charts and almost all of them being a blockbuster film. It is without a doubt that TVJ`s success had an impact on filipino television especially with their noon time show Eat Bulaga, Maintaining a high rating for over 40 years.
“Bossing” of masses:
Eat Bulaga! On July 30, 1979, the series premiered. Tito, Vic, and Joey were the initial hosts of the television show, together with Chiqui Hollman and Richie D'Horsie. Vic was 25 years old when the program premiered.Vic, being a musician, he also contributed to the creation of the show's famed theme tune in 1982 as the writer of its melody. The song's words were written by Vincent Dy Buncio, while the music was composed by Homer Flores.
Vic, like Tito and Joey, is devoted to Eat Bulaga! despite the fact that he has not signed a contract with the program since 1979. Vic said that he accepted the invitation to host the show in order to earn enough money to purchase his own automobile, with the intention of departing immediately after. TVJ, on the other hand, chose to remain with the Eat Bulaga!

Personal Life:
Vic Sotto married actress Dina Bonnevie in 1982, and they had two children, Danica and Oyo Boy. Vic left the couple in 1986, and their marriage was dissolved in 1992. Coney Reyes has joined the cast of Eat Bulaga! Chiqui Hollman's successor in 1982. Coney and Vic became an item during her hosting tenure and had a son named Vico. Angela Luz was Vic's one-time starring woman in the television series Okay Ka, Fairy Ko when they met after he split up with Coney Reyes. Vic Sotto's fourth child, Paulina, was born to Angela Luz.
Vic had relationships with his fellow Eat Bulaga! hosts as well. Christine Jacob and Pia Guanio were co-hosts in the early 1990s and late 2000s, respectively, but both relationships ended in breakup After Vic`s breakups with fellow co- hosts. Christine Jacob is no longer hosting Eat Bulaga! Pia Guanio decided to stay in the show after her relationship ended.Vic eventually married teenage actress Pauleen Luna, who is also an Eat Bulaga! co-host. They tied the knot on January 30, 2016. With Vic's fifth kid, Tallitha Maria, was born to Pauleen.

Okay Ka, Fairy Ko! is one of his most renowned television series. Ful Haus (2007–2009), Daddy Di Do Du (1987–1996), Ful Haus (2001–2007). He has also presented various game programs, including Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? in the Philippines. The Million Peso Money Drop (2012–2013) and The Million Peso Money Drop (2009–2015).
He has appeared in a number of films and television shows with Tito and Joey, most notably TVJ: Television's Jesters (1989), D'Gradwets (1981), and Doctor, Doctor, We Are Sick (1991). (1985) Vic owns M-Zet Productions, a film and television production firm that has collaborated on films such as the Enteng Kabisote trilogy, AlDub's Imagine You & Me (2016), and Trip Ubusan: The Lolas vs. Zombies (2017).
Up to this day he is considered as one of the most prominent TV personality. He had made an impact on various industry that helped shaped our culture. “Bossing” Vic Sotto is not only an actor, a singer and a host. He is an inspiration to people and a hope to people.
