     ...The wind felt nice today. A gentle breeze, one he was sure would play nicely with the wildflowers in the area. Maybe he could get some pictures for his grandfather, he’d appreciate that. A deep inhale through his nose, even the air smelled nice. Such a clean area...

     There was greenery everywhere, the humans really took care of this town well. Honestly, if he didn’t have to be wary about the amount of people around him at all times, he’d take a nap under a tree right about now.

Panic began to rise within to the point she had to consciously stop herself from teleporting away again. Her breathing even became labored as she tried to collect herself. Only when she felt she had reached her break point did she feel the all too familiar feeling of Ethan trying to soothe her. 'Alley Cat?' Even hearing his voice in her head gave her that calming feeling. 

‘Not now, I’ll tell you later.’

Right then she needed to focus on the situation. She could worry about Ethan and even Shida’s reactions later. Though the dragon hadn’t reached out to her, Alex knew that Shida was aware that something was happening. She wouldn’t put it past the dragon either to come and make sure she was alright. No, right then Alex needed to make sure that Kagura wasn’t going to freak out. And if she did then at least she would freak out in a way that wouldn’t tip anyone else off that something strange was going on. She had promised Shida that while she was overseas nothing bad would happen. 

“Not really? It’s more of magic than superpowers...You’re...Not going freak out are you?”

@tofiorire : Eevee, my other half, my twin, one of my loves! When people compliment my Kaoru, I always give credit to Eevee and their Hikaru. It’s because of the writer and muse that Kaoru is who they are right now. I feel a lot of pride in Kaoru ( most times ) and I’m so fucking happy to have become friends with Eevee because they inspire me every single time we talk. Their Hikaru also inspires me. I will read their headcanons on him, will read some threads/asks, and I’m always left in awe. His voice comes through with every response and I feel like Eevee has perfectly captured the Hikaru I fell in love with as a teen! The manga Hikaru who owns my heart and has many rights ( anime Hikaru is on thin ice most times ). Eevee is insanely talented with their writing and the edits that they make. If we have chatted before, you have heard me gush about Eevee and their Hikaru ‘cause I gotta let everyone know how amazing they both are! <3

@ramenthings : I really shouldn’t write nice things about Ashley because then she’ll call me a simp and I’ll cry because she’s always bullying me. Okay, but in all seriousness, Ashley’s Naruto gives me life. When I stumbled upon Ash’s blog, I spent a few good minutes reading threads/asks and laughing my ass off. I immediately followed and didn’t care about getting a follow back... I just want her Naruto on my dash because he makes me smile. Nothing has changed since we became mutuals. I’m still reading her Naruto’s responses and losing my damn marbles because he’s so witty, charming, hilarious, and when he’s more serious... I’m so engaged. Ashley has done a fantastic job of capturing Naruto’s voice and also adding her own spin to him which makes him so captivating. I fucking love her portrayal and her writing so damn much. She’s such a funny and sweet person. A fucking delight and I’m so happy to have them both on my dash. <3

@hatsuuharu : Me reading Iz’s posts and wondering if it’s actually Haru behind the screen because I can clearly hear his voice and his actions/behaviors are so fucking IC. It’s like I’m watching an episode of Furuba or reading the manga whenever Iz is on my dash writing for Haru. Iz has nailed his characteristics so fucking well. Also, it’s not only Iz’s Haru that I love with my whole heart... Lemme shed a bit of light on their Kyoya ( @selfshadows ). I’m sitting here so surprised that Iz writes with me and ships with me. It blows my little mind. I am always in awe when I read their responses and I am always smiling/laughing when I see a message from their Haru and/or Kyoya. I’m convinced it’s actually Haru and Kyoya writing because the portrayals are so lovely. You can tell there’s a lot of love behind these muses. <3

@gentlebcnes : Jem has a collection of muses and they’re all written so beautifully. People with multi-muse blogs deserve so much love and recognition. Jem is someone who deserves so much fucking love and praise! You want muses from Broadway musicals, anime/manga, movies/shows, OCs, and more... Follow Jem because I can promise you some quality writing and phenomenal portrayals. I will read her responses for different muses and sit here captivated because how is she doing this?! How is she writing for these diverse characters and capturing their voices so perfectly? My brain struggles to switch from silly Kaoru to serious Kaoru and yet... Here’s Jem switching from one muse to another and doing it so flawlessly. A huge shout-out to her Furuba muses and her Ouran muses because I fucking love them. Oh! Another shout-out for her edits because holy shit! Everything she touches is beautiful, okay? Her writing and her edits. I love so much! <3

     Though they weren’t ​far apart in age, Rin always felt a sense of protectiveness over Kagura even if she had a rather strange way of showing it. In fact, no one would’ve ever guessed Kagura was actually older than Rin given the waves of cold condescension that screamed older sister vibes from her aloof direction. Maybe it was a sense of loyalty, a feeling of owing Kagura in return for opening her home and her family to her when she’d been discarded by her own parents but still; she remained one of the few Rin overtly showed she cared for even if it usually came with much less tact. Rin was perceptive and Kagura wasn’t exactly good at hiding anything. It’s how she knew something was different about her; something had changed drastically from her obsession with Kyo. “If you want my advice, you’re better off staying that way. Anything else only ends in heartbreak and despair.”

Kyosuke ran and ran, despite how his legs burned and his muscles protested. By the time he reached the place where Isuzu Shoma lived, he was about ready to collapse. Sweat caked his skin, and his chest was heaving. That bile from earlier felt fresher in his mouth, but Kyosuke ignored that disgusting slight metallic taste in favour of rapidly pounding his fist on Isuzu’s front door.

When she finally opened it, Kyosuke had to press a hand onto the wall next to the door in order to stop from collapsing,

“Kagura... needs.... your help.... I didn’t.... remember your phone number.... no time.... f-follow me....” even as Kyosuke said this, the second he tried to move away, his body swayed and he nearly did lose his balance and footing. Needed water, but, Kagura....!!

Tall or short? Well, honestly that question depends on who’s asking. Because for Trevor, he would consider Arin short... but for the girl’s sake, he would be tall. The Ram sits happily in a sort of... middle ground.

“Kicking a fire hydrant...”

The Bull repeats that sentence with an exhausted tone and just lets it linger in the air for a few moments. It leaves him questioning what’s pissed the Ram off now? He breathes a slight sigh, slouching even further.

“I suppose you could say ‘tall’... I’d hate to ask this of you, but could you lead me to where you saw this guy? If you’re not comfortable with that, I totally understand.. you could always point me in the direction instead-- Arin’s a hot-head--” Literally-- “And he’s prone to headbutting things.... and people... and I wouldn’t want you potentially getting hurt...”

“Kagura~,” Alex whined as she watched her friend move about her kitchen, “you don’t need to feed me.” And her face was completely red because Kagura insisted on feeding her. No one had done anything like this. Ethan had come close but he had preferred to pamper her with gifts. Mostly because he was still learning to cook and he didn’t want to make her sick. Still, this had to be just as thoughtful. Just something that she wasn’t at all used to. 

“Where did you even learn to cook that anyway?” It was just pierogi, something she remembered mentioning to Kagura was one of her favorite home cooked meals. Her mother always made some for her and her father every Sunday. Another thing that made her a little home sick. And definitely something she didn’t expect her friend to learn how to make it and actually it make for her. If it was at all possible, Alex blushed more at the thought. This was far too much for her.

@earthssprout : Gi, my number one bully, one of my besties, a national treasure. Gi works her fucking ass off to learn more about her muse by doing research and asking for thoughts/opinions from others. It’s clear that she wants to write an accurate portrayal of a child muse and I also fucking love how protective she is of tiny Ari. A lot of love went into making Ari and making sure she has such meaningful and beautiful familial/platonic bonds with the people she stumbles upon. I know it takes two to tangle but for our familial relationship, it’s always Gi coming at me with the fantastic plot ideas and thought-provoking questions. I love hearing about Ari and how she views the world. I look forward to hearing/reading Gi’s responses because I truly want to understand her muse even more. I fucking adore Ari and it’s because of the headcanons/thoughts that Gi has shared online and with me. She’s been working on this OC for years now and there’s so much love behind her. She’s so well-thought out and beautifully written but that’s because Gi is a talented writer and she holds so much creativity in that head of hers. Not only that but I wanna shed some light on the dedication to make her blog really fit her muse and the dedication to make it such a positive and loving space. The serotonin that I receive from this blog is crazy. And I know this isn’t to talk about writers specifically but Gi herself is such a fucking blessing. I honestly sit here and thank the universe for bringing Gi into my life. We may not know each other IRL but she still makes a huge positive difference in my life every single day and I adore her. I love Gi with my whole heart! <3

@cryptidiiots : Skippy, another bestie of mine, the first person to make me feel so safe to be my authentic self on Tumblr, and someone who is constantly making me laugh/smile! I have had the pleasure of writing with four of Skippy’s muses and I am always blessed with the funniest and cutest interactions! Skippy has put a lot of love into Momo, Naota, and Oda. I love the work she put into connecting them but also making sure they stand out as their own person. I love their similarities and differences. I love hearing her talk about them online and on Discord. I fucking love her little trio and I would die for them ( and I’m now representing Naota and Oda because they deserve the freedom to create chaos )! Okay, but being serious now, Skippy has worked hard to make believable and realistic muses and I truly love them. If we have chatted, you have heard me talk about Skippy and her OCs because they hold a special place in my heart and so does Skippy. Our friendship means a lot to me and our muses’ friendships means so much to me. I fucking love Skippy and can gush about her for ages. The first person on Tumblr that made me think, “Wow. I consider this person a best friend,” and it’s obvious that I feel that way because I have like a million threads with her and we chat quite a bit because I never get tired of her ( and I’m sure she gets tired of me and if so, I am so sorry ). The same applies for Ouran because I have roped her in and now she will suffer with me because the twins don’t get enough love! Oh! Quick mention... The love and time she puts into her OCs like... CHEF’S KISS. I love hearing about them and their stories. They’re all so unique and special. I don’t deserve Kanami because she is amazing and I would die for her. Wanting to return to the game to appreciate Satan a bit more. I was iffy about him, leaning more towards disliking him, but Dia really came around and said, “Nah. Here are the reasons you should love him and why I love him” and I went, “Yes. Yes. You’re right. I am a fool. With a squeak emitting from each step of his hooves, Chopper let out a small sigh. The pain of boredom dulled his physical exhaustion, letting him forget about how tired he was. His maroon colored shorts had a bit of dirt on them. It was likely from a brawl or some other type of outdoor activity. Given the location, perhaps Chopper was merely defending himself. Judging from the brief moment of sighing, his voice seemed to be soft, reminiscent of a child's. He didn't sound older than an eleven year old.

Finally, the boy spotted someone more approachable than most. A beautiful school girl with a certain aura about her that was different from most humans. Chopper couldn't exactly tell that what he was sensing from the girl, but it was definitely otherworldly. With an excited grin, he ran toward the adorable teenager.

Once the boy stopped in front of the student, he tilted his head upward in order to make proper eye contact with her. Two things were likely to catch her attention before he said anything. Chopper's bright blue nose, which often got him bullied in his childhood, and the brace wrapped around his left antler from a fight during his younger years. Despite the injury, his warm smile toward this girl seemed to show genuine excitement. Reaching his scrawny right arm forward, Chopper placed his small hoof atop her knee, hoping to get the student's attention. "Excuse me!" He excitedly cheered out, awaiting her reply.

WHAT HAS GOTTEN INTO HER? Kagura can only blink as she looks at Isuzu and listens to what she asked of her. That wasn’t like her at all -not really even like the horse to question and hold a conversation with her. The last time she even mentioned Kyo she had told Kagura to stop faking at love. (How could she even know that Kagura was ‘acting’ when it came to loving Kyo?)

… still, the idea of getting to bond with her younger cousin sure did make Kagura’s heart beat faster! “Oh, heaven? Uh! I guess… sometimes, Kyo-kun makes me feel really happy! Though…” she rubs the side of her face, “then he gets silly and he makes me mad so I don’t think he makes me feel like heaven then…”

“But, most of the time when I THINK about him! Yup!” Oh, Kagura, honey, that wasn’t the question. Yes, Kyo did make Kagura feel like heaven – but it was mostly when she was thinking about him or reading too into things. Not when he spoke or was involved… at all…

the question was asked on a whim, just an attempt to make sure that rin was right with her assumption that kagura’s love wasn’t real. a comparison to what she felt for haru, that love that was twisted, sure, but still all too real. every time haru spoke to her, rin knew that she was loved, that she was wanted. that she, the girl who was tossed aside so often, was still wanted.

“ i see... “  looking down at the tea sitting untouched before her, the horse frowned in thought. yeah, that sounded about right, based on what she had seen between the boar and the cat.  “ that’s what i thought. “  it was all in kagura’s head, not something reciprocated, not something real.
