Chapter 11: The Lamb-Headed Man
Verse 2
The trio of Tailor, Rachelle and Erzabet sat by the side of the road, surrounded by their camping gear. Despite the fatigue from pedaling all day, none of them could sleep. The silence was punctuated only by the sound of distant groaning zombies and the rustling of leaves in the wind.
Erzabet broke the silence, "I've been thinking about the music. Maybe we could follow it and find whoever is controlling these zombies. It could be our chance to get some answers."
Rachelle shook her head, "That's a dangerous idea. We don't know what we're up against."
Tailor sat up, "I've been having these dreams about a lamb-headed figure. It feels like a warning. Maybe we should be careful about blindly following anything."
Erzabet looked annoyed, "What, you think my idea is stupid?"
Tailor tried to backtrack, "No, I just think we need to be cautious. We don't know who or what is behind the music."
Rachelle interjected, "I agree with Tailor. We need to be careful. But I also understand Erzabet's frustration. We've been on the run for so long and we still don't have any answers."
Erzabet sighed, "I just want to do something. I feel useless just pedaling all day."
Rachelle reached over and patted her on the back, "You're not useless. We need you. And we'll find a way to take down whoever is behind all this. We just need to be patient."
Tailor nodded in agreement, "We'll figure it out. And in the meantime, let's focus on getting some rest."
