En el reciente Indie Highlights fueron presentados muchos nuevos titulos que llegaran a la Nintendo Switch, ademas de varias novedades que no pudieron entrar en el video.

En el mas reciente Indie Highlights, una suerte de Nintendo Direct enfocado pura y exclusivamente a videojuegos independientes, se presento muchas novedades, como juegos nuevos, revelaciones de fechas, entre otras cosas. Ademas se pudo ver generos para todos los gustos, acción por turnos, juegos de rol, plataformas, entre otros.

El video pregrabado reveló la fecha de lanzamiento del juego de estrategia por turnos Wargroove (Chucklefish) para el 1 de febrero, ademas del anuncio del próximo juego en el aclamado universo SteamWorld, SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech (Image & Form Games / Thunderful Publishing) y más noticias indies.

En Wargroove, los jugadores eligen a su Comandante y ejercen las unidades de su ejército en una guerra entre facciones de combate. Hasta cuatro jugadores pueden influir estratégicamente en la batalla a su favor a medida que avanzan en la campaña. Por otro lado SteamWorld Quest es un juego de rol basado en un juego de cartas que se basa en una historia épica sobre lo que significa ser un héroe, el juego es una adición única a la franquicia SteamWorld.
