Plot: Mildly Succession based in that my muse has recently taken over a large software / cybersecurity firm following the death of the owner. Yours is meeting her for dinner ( for whatever reason! ) and was expecting someone a little different.

"Oh, I'm sorry." Sylwia passed the second basket of bread of the night to the middle of the table, staring down at her plate a moment later, hand clenched in her napkin. She was still waiting for that magical moment wherein conversation would flow freely, silently putting that expectation on the other. She wasn't much good at this sort of thing- social situations. Hence the whole tech thing.

Besides, the bread was really good here. What was the harm in getting their money's worth in bread before getting a to-go box?

"So . . ." Silence stretched between them before she gave a small chuckle, shaking her head. "Do you care for small-talk? Should I even bother?" Surely it had its value, but Sylwia simply was not suited for it. She supposed she could try, if it was really that big of a deal.
