“You promise?” Lena’s tone was hopeful, even through the static-y microphone that pipped the sound out to the cowboy. “Always wanted to ride a motorcycle – had a moped when I was a kid, but that wasn’t quite fast enough.”

Jesse sat on the other side of the thick Plexiglass wall, legs pulled up and spread wide, with his elbows resting casually on his knees. Their little check-ins had gone from a monthly affair to nearly every day, with Jesse stopping in between meetings or meals and chattering about whatever gossip there was on base that day. Lena was almost always free, beyond the daily medical check-ins and monitoring for any time-related discrepancies.

“Promise. Soon as you get outta here, we’ll head out. Long ride to wherever you want. Teach ya how to ride too.”

Lena dreamed about it, afterwards. The freedom of movement, the feeling of the wind in her hair played out in her subconscious. It was one of the few promises she could hold onto, when it felt like an iron band was crushing her ribs and her skin prickled with the feeling of phantom needles.

When the days grew long and dark and the walls pressed in, Lena turned to the fantasy of the open road, letting her mind wander beyond that which haunted her to the feeling of the engine roar beneath her. It became a crutch, something to carry her through the late nights, the surgeries, the recoveries and the restart of the whole process.

The first time she was able to taste that freedom, Lena cried. Propped carefully on the back of Jesse's bike, arms tight around his waist, Lena sobbed with the beat of the beast in her chest as the pavement disappeared beneath them and the world buzzed beneath her skin. If he noticed, he didn't say anything.

Her first bike was a cruiser, just like his, presented in an informal ceremony in one of the garages. An older Indian Scout Bobber Sixty, with a smokey blue finish. Lena's still not sure how they found the money in the budget, but Jesse encouraged her not to ask too many questions and to give it a shot.

Later came the sport bikes, two 1200cc bikes built on Triumph frames and heavily altered by the research and development team. Her work, skill and ability with the Indian had led them to recognize the opportunity of having another rider on the team and the importance of providing the necessary tools for her.

Today, she keeps all three bikes in a garage off site, taking them out to ride at least once a week. If needed, she still takes the sport bikes out for missions, but the cruiser is left untouched. It's her project, something she chooses to keep separate from the threat of war.

Indian motorcycle is a very well engineered bike the frames are much sturdier than highly no but they are stronger it's about 10 or 15% they go faster and they're designed to and they're lower and easier to ride and handle and they're a bit lighter this is a 1200 cc that's a 60 cubic inch motor and has tons of power 78 horsepower about 85 foot pounds of torque it's as much as most small cars they will propel you about 400 miles an hour from out of the shop and yeah he can't ride its way too fast but it is a bike for a real bikers they need a smaller one but it's actually a sport bike and it's faster than this one

She then acted alongside Sandhya Mridul, Tannishtha Chatterjee, Sarah-Jane Dias and Anushka Manchanda in the 2015 film Angry Indian Goddesses, a film which marked the debut of Pan Nalin in mainstream Hindi cinema. In October 2015, She joined the cast of the Channel 4 soap opera, Hollyoaks as Neeta Kaur. She departed the serial in November 2017 after her character was killed off. Her death scene was nominated for Best Show-Stopper at the 2018 Inside Soap Awards.

Indian Scout Rogue

Indian está añadiendo una nueva línea de entrada a la Scout con la Rogue, una variante de temática oscura con una postura baja y nuevas características de rendimiento.
