Q1 - First, please tell us your impression of the movie and the characters.

A - I felt like it was made to deny all logic. Two series that normally exist separately crossed over to meet each other. Hakuryuu’s different from when I last played him.

Q2 - Please tell us your favorite scene and dialogue.

A - When everyone said ‘We will never give up!’.

Q3 - How do you think the match against Inazuma Legend Japan would have went?

A - I think for sure there’s no way we can win against those adult legends yet (laughs).

Q4 - If you could meet the characters from the InaDan movie again, what would you like to see happen?

A - I want to win against Ban’s LBX.

Q1 - First, please tell us your impression of the movie and the characters.

A - I was first surprised when I saw Yukimura had made it in as a member of Shinsei Inazuma Japan. Since he was an opponent for Tenma and the others in the TV series, it was refreshing to see him be able to interact with them as a member of the same team.

Q2 - Please tell us your favorite scene and dialogue.

A - I’m glad he got to use his Pather Blizzard attack once again. The way you should the names of special moves in the movie is a little different to the TV series. And when Fran smiled in the last scene, I felt like I was gonna cry in the recording studio.

Q3 - How do you think the match against Inazuma Legend Japan would have went?

A - We probably can’t win against our senpais yet, but I think that it might end up being only a small difference in points. Personally I would like to see a battle between Yukimura and Fubuki as master and student. And since they’re all on the same team now, I’d like all the strikers - Taiyou, Hakuryuu etc… - to shoot a special attack move together.

Q4 - If you could meet the characters from the InaDan movie again, what would you like to see happen?

A - Since camping in the movie looked fun, I’d like everyone - the Danball Senki W characters - Inazuma Legend Japan, Fran - to all go camping together. Even when they’re camping I have a feeling Yukimura would be clingy around Fubuki… (laughs).

A short story of my apprentice, before they’ve become the Scilla we know and get annoyed at.

Sharp rays of the midday sun turned the air unbearably hot, making every breath feel like sandpaper. Across the dusty town square, a group of kids were playing Temse in the shade of the palm trees.  

“Which one is it?”

“On the left. The child of that fugitive jeweller, Ajju.”

He remembered the woman well. She was born in the Inadan cast, and eloped with a beggared agguta, leaving her family for a man's charm. "Nobles are like rice, smiths are like millet, slaves are like corn." Their society did not like people intermarrying, and no one really liked an agguta. Years ago, the amghar had his doubts about taking them in his tawshet. Now, his generosity seemed to bear its fruit. He turned to his vassal.

“Let's see if the kid's useful.”

Boisterous laughter erupted from the children, followed by some yelling. The kids were too wrapped up in their game to notice the group of men, until a painted tambour crumpled under the camel's hoof.  

“Kid!” shouted one of the warriors “Water!”

A big teethed girl at the edge of their group quickly nodded.

“There's a well a few corners away, I'll make it under a minute…”

The warrior's horse reared, the tip of his heavy allag pointed at a nearby boy's chest.

“Didn't you hear me?! The amghar's thirsty!”

The children screamed, and some started to sob. The warrior's lance tore a hole into the boy's takarbast.

“Stop!” rang a voice, that definitely did not belong to the amghar. The air was vibrating with something more than midday heat.

Ajju's child gathered some sand from the ground and offered it to him. The amghar held his breath, and urged his camel to kneel.

“What is it, child?”

The kid did not blink.

“Water.”

That was unexpected. His vassals haves told stories about the kid casually jumping over a donkey, and making little camels of sand. He tried to provoke the kid to see if their elemental magic could be used for attacks. For Kel Tagelmust, the veiled people, their wealth is in their herd. They drink their milk, eat their meat, use their skin, trade them and fight battles over them. Animals are prized in the desert. Water? Priceless.  

The amghar was an ambitious man. His own magician, a diviner, already proved himself very useful in the fight for the amenokal position. All he was looking for was some magical backup to his troops, but fate gifted him with a rare trump card. All schemes overwritten. The results of the upcoming election become decided. The celestial bodies are merciful indeed.  

He dipped his finger in the pooled water. It was cold.

The setting sun painted the dunes dusty pink by the time the child got home. Their tent at the edge of the oasis was surrounded by the usual evening crowd, regulars and travelers mixed together. At any other part of the town, seeing so many people in stunned silence would raise suspicion. But those who have heard the voice of Aderfi Ag Hossad, know it's power. His rich baritone finds its way to the most skeptical hearts, his songs soothe crying infants, and his tales capture souls. The crowd hung on every word, silent exceptexpect some bewildered "ooh"s and "ah"s.  

Ajju's child, Amanar snaked their way around a bunch of Hesperian salt merchants hunched together, one translating the story in whispers to her companions. Aderfi sat his child on his knee, softly rocking. Amanar has heard the tale thousand times, but still couldn't help but be captivated. Their mother handed them a ladle and. Amanar gently lifted it to their lips, taking a slow sip of the thick eghajira. It's sweetness filled them with comfort. Aderfi was nearing the climax of his tale, his hands gesturing animatedly. Amanar gave back the empty ladle.

“The chief will come by tomorrow.”

Ajju patted the messy curls on their head.

“An inspection again? I must have missed the announcement.”

Amanar shook their head.

“No, he said he'll visit you.”

“The amghar spoke to you? When?”

“Today. After I gave him water.”

Ajju clicked her tongue in agreement.

“Oh. He must be thankful then.”

Amanar's upper lip twitched. The five year old's oddly cynical facial expressions never failed to make Ajju smile, much to her child's distaste.

“He was weird.”

“You shouldn't talk about our chief like that.”

“Then maybe he shouldn't try to stab my friends.”

Ajju's breath got stuck in her chest.

“He did... What have you done?”

Amanar blinked slowly, owlishly.

“He wanted water. Quick. His soldiers got rowdy. So I made him water.” They jumped off Aderfi's knee. Gathering some dust in their little hands, Amanar showed it in the vague direction of their mother. “Like this.”

Their father turned at the sound of the ladle hitting the ground. He jumped up like he was stung by a bee, picked up the child with a yelp, quickly making his way into their tent. Ajju closed its flap behind them, closing out the agitated outcry from his audience. She Ajju looked into his eyes, equally scared.

“I didn't know they could do this.”

Aderfi shook his head.

“Me neither. No one in my family had magic this strong. Your side has affinity to elementals, did they....?”

“A low affinity to metal, nothing like…” She vaguely gestured towards her child's tiny palms, still wet. “Nothing like this.”

Aderfi put the confused Amanar down, pacing up and down like a caged lion in the little place the tent provided.  

“We should have been more careful. You know his so- called palace magicians all end up like slaves!”

“What do you expect me to do about it now?” Ajju's voice gained a new dangerous edge. “Pack quickly, we need to leave.”

“Where? The election is in two months. He has mercenaries in every oasis in the tawshet. Soldiers along every route. A fly cannot pass, without him knowing. His men cannot be compared to those your family hired.”

Ajju’s lips twitched in annoyance.

“We barely got away from those. With no camels, no horse...”

“...we have no chance.”

Fat, salty tears started to gather around Amanar's big black eyes.

"Mama... Did I do something wrong? Are we in trouble?" They hiccupped. "I was polite, just like you told me to! Even when he was rude and scary!"

"Oh darling..." Aderfi squatted down to comfort the shaking childkid, arms open.  

"I behaved, I swear! I hold my tongue! He didn't look angry!"

They all winced when someone cleared their throat at the entrance. It was the tall Hesperian woman, who was translating Aderfi's tale to his friends earlier.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to barge in. It's just we have a pretty good doctor with us. So if anything happened to the little bean here, snake bites, scorpion stings..." she gestured with her chin towards Amanar, slightly shocked by the sight of Ajju's dagger, "she can take a look. Free of charge. Just sayin' since we depart at dusk. If we can do anything to help before we return..."

#PHnews: Caraga's top ‘underground’ youth leader arrested

BUTUAN CITY – The alleged secretary of the Kabataang Makabayan, an underground youth organization of the Communist Party of the Philippines - New People’s Army (CPP-NPA) wanted for murder was arrested in Cagayan de Oro City on Sunday.

In a statement Monday, Brig. Gen. Romeo Caramat Jr., director of Police Regional Office in Caraga (PRO-13), the suspect, Renalyn Tejero, alias Tiray/Teray/Lyn, 25, resident of Barangay Diatagon, Lianga, Surigao del Sur, was arrested in New People’s Army (NPA) was arrested in Barangay Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro City by joint operatives of the Philippine National Police (PNP) and Philippine Army.

“She is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Regional United Front (RUF), Regional White Area Committee of the North Eastern Mindanao Regional Committee (NEMRC) of the NPA,” Caramat said.

Tejero, who is reportedly a full-time member of the Sub-Regional Sentro De Grabidad Southland of the NEMRC, is classified one of the most wanted NPA members in the Regional Priority Target (RPT) of PRO-13 with an arrest warrant against her issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 34 in Cabadbaran City, Agusan del Norte for murder and multiple attempted murder.

Tejero is said to be one of the primary suspects in the killing of former rebels, Zaldy Acidillo Ybañez and Datu Bernandino Astudillo, in Sitio Inadan, Barangay Magroyong, San Miguel, Surigao del Sur on March 19, 2020.

Caramat said the suspect is involved in the organizing and recruitment of the youths and students into the NPA and implicated in various NPA-initiated atrocities in Surigao del Sur and other parts of the Caraga Region.

“We affirm that her apprehension was based on the strength of warrants of arrest issued by the local court,” Caramat said.

Caramat credited the local residents and communities for the success of the operation leading to Tejero's arrest.

“With the support of communities, I believe that the days are numbered against those NPA members with warrants of arrest,” Caramat said.

The CPP-NPA is listed as a terrorist organization by the United States, European Union, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the Philippines. (PNA)

DanSen Novel 1

So I’ve just finished reading the novel version of the Inazuma GO vs Danball Senki crossover movie and I wanna talk about my favorite parts. And when I say ‘finished reading’ I mean ‘read all the Inazuma parts and skipped the DanSen parts because if Muraku’s not there I’m not interested’.

An Overview

The book is 198 pages long and covers up to the scene where Fran is ‘rescued’ by Tenma and the others.

The novel expands on the background of both the birth of Shinsei Inazuma Japan and the LBX.

There’s new scenes that aren’t in the movie.

It’s very slow-paced. The first 100 pages focus slowly on the lead up to the exhibition match between Shinsei Inazuma Japan and Inazuma Legend Japan.

So I won’t be translating it, buuut like I said above I wanna talk about my favorite parts. Note: I will use MY personal translations (which are very liberal because LOL) not the translations from the link above.

Araceli’s Personal Fav Parts

So the first scene that caught my attention is the opening of Chapter 1 Two Worlds, where Tenma is running late to after school practice

Matsukaze Tenma was only a first year, but he was the Captain of Raimon soccer club. While he still had a few more months of being part of the soccer club’s kouhai - junior - members, soon enough new members would join and in turn become Tenma’s kouhai. Tenma knew that meant at the same time the current third years would graduate, so Tenma felt a strong responsibility to take his role as Captain very seriously.

‘I’ve got to pull it together! From next year I’ll become a senpai!’

Two things here. 1 - the third years graduating is acknowledged. I don’t feel particularly strongly about Amagi, Sangoku and Kurumada but it’s still emotional for the soccer club... members leaving... The second thing is TENMA AS A SENPAI PLEASE I WANNA SEE. This is so cute. He’s already shown he’s becoming more mature and responsible in Chrono Stone and Galaxy. Tenma senpai... He’s just too tiny and cute to be a senpai...

Also: 

Gouenji, Kidou and Endou are described as Raimon’s Old Boys which is... funny to me... Since Minamisawa calls Kidou etc.. an ‘old man’ in the drama CD. Hah.

The scene is as follows: Hibiki has an important announcement for certain players he called to Raimon’s soccer building. It reminds me of the original series episode 69 - Birth of Inazuma Japan!

Tsurugi’s eyes are, once again, described as ‘long and sharp’. This reminds me of the scene from the games when Aoi says that ‘Tsurugi’s eyes have a really kind expression when he smiles’. Uhh... So Kyousuke has really pretty eyes I guess.

Tenma calls Yukimura Yukimura-san. Cute.

Tsurugi lets Tenma know Hakuryuu is there too.

Then GOOD PART:

Nowadays, Hakuryuu and Tsurugi were good friends who would sometimes meet up and practice together.

They meet up and practice together?? Hakuryuu and Tsurugi BROTP. Hakuryuu’s school is still not confirmed though, lame.

Then BEST PART IN THE WHOLE BOOK - a physical description of Kirino. I cannot... describe... my sheer joy... This is the canon physical description of Kirino...

His long hair was gathered on both sides and hung down low. While he had a gentle-looking attractive face, his eyes shone with resolute determination.

My baby is once again canon beautiful and I’m happy. Shut up.

Next Hibiki tells them they will be the new Inazuma Japan and play an exhibition match against the Inazuma Legend Japan. They’re nervous but all accept one by one, until it’s Hakuryuu’s turn. Hakuryuu’s been quiet the whole time, until Tsurugi teases him about being afraid. The smartass replies:

‘So the reason I’m here is basically because there’s no way these guys can win against the legendary players by themselves’?’

Show off. Last to accept is Kariya, who’s basically bullied into joining the team, even though he’s really reluctant. Kariya exists to be teased by everyone lol.

Then Hibiki tells them there will be a training camp for a week before the exhibition match. So they all have this training camp together at Raimon school and that means that they all spent all that time together THAT I DON’T GET TO SEE ;w; Don’t tease me like that... No wait - do tease me. I want Hakuryuu Tsurugi bromance.

Gouenji is described is wearing his hair in ‘pomade’ style for the first time in a while. According to my dictionary pomade comes from French, but I don’t know what it means. I guess spikes?? Anyway, to his teammates this feels ‘refreshing’, and Endou says it it feels like his ‘old friend has returned’. Gouenji feels the same about Endou wearing gloves.

Kazemaru fixes his hair in front of the mirror. Nice. My boy needs a mirror to make sure he looks pretty. No hastily tied ponytail for him - he’s gonna do it the neat way. Yes I know I read way too much into this.

Okay, we’re skipping the whole match to land on Fei’s description.

His light green hair looked like two long rabbit ears...

RABBIT BOY CONFIRMED.

Next the super super cute part that talks about how the Ina girls and the Danball girls bond.

The girls gathered together and talked about the differences in fashion between the two worlds. They talked about the stylishness and cuteness of the outfits they were wearing, and got a feel for the atmosphere of each of the world based on what celebrities were popular over there.

THE WORLD IS ABOUT TO BE ERASED and they’re talking about cute boys and clothes. My kind of girls. I’m not even kidding. I wanna hear this conversation so bad. What idol does Aoi-chan like??

And before anyone worries ‘this is so sexist, having the girls talk about clothes and shit’ nahhh man this is pretty much exactly how I expect Japanese girls to act with each other lmao.

Last scene of interest: Yukimura, Kirino, Hakuryuu and Tsurugi are on water-gathering duty and have a short scene that’s not in the movie.

-Yukimura asks Kirino a question and calls him Kirino-kun. Why’s this matter? Means Yukimura’s more polite than I thought. 

‘Kirino-kun, what do you think of Yamano Ban and the others?’

-Kirino takes a while to answer the question, as if he’s choosing his words carefully. Kirino personality UP! He’s careful about what he says. I love this boy.

-Hakuryuu calls Yukimura by Yukimura-san. So Hakuryuu IS a first year. I didn’t know that but it explains a lot.

‘Thank you, Yukimura-san! To be honest, I’ve been wanting to talk about this for a while.’

-Hakuryuu is super suspicious of the LBX crew, as is Yukimura. Kirino and Tsurugi are more willing to trust them, even if they’re also suspicious. Great foreshadowing - oh wait, this scene is not in the movie.

-Yukimura says the LBX gang might just be pretending to be their friends to get close to them so they can erase them too, but Kirino says he’s overthinking it.

Hakuryuu, however, sides with Yukimura.

‘I can buy Yukimura’s theory.’

Tsurugi tells him to cut it out, but Hakuryuu ignores him. LOL. I need more of these two, PLEASE.

And that’s it. For now. The book was fun. Read the translation if you like. And if you’ve anything you wanna add/ say please do!
