#ok so Pepper and Happy’s relationship is still in the wrong track as I suspected #because whatever Pepper ends up determining about Tony being Iron Man #that doesn’t change that Happy doesn’t want her to work and she does #before I was thinking that the way Pepper has such a negative view of Iron Man could be because #since they have a personal relationship and are in a lot of contact when she’s his secretary #that Tony purposely acts cold to her as Iron Man #so that she doesn’t make the connection between Iron Man and Tony who she has a positive relationship with #but it’s striking just how positive a view of Tony she has here #she says that he’s comforting cold close and open #which is very much not how a lot of people would describe Tony #so now I’m thinking that that she has such a positive view of Tony is specifically because she knows him in both roles #in that Tony keeps his more negative behaviors contained to his Iron Man persona around her #so that as Tony she only sees the positive stuff #marvel #pepper potts #happy hogan #my posts #comic panels
