everybody’s always complaining about wot’s lengthy descriptions like speak for yourselves,,, I was personally on the edge of my seat everytime the characters travelled to a new city and sighed in relief when robert finally started describing the food and popular fashion, detailed the city’s unique architecture and the kinds of tiles used for roofing, described the weather, the various modes of transportation, gave a rundown on the governing system, and explored the endemic social tensions. then I would reread those descriptions all over again.

I hated every single romance on page although I think they worked beautifully #conceptually speaking. #if you got in because of the characters: okay. I hated every single one of them except moiraine for the first two books. I liked mat while #reading the third book. I finally grew fond of the characters in the fourth book. #<- girl who got into wot because of the worldbuilding and you can tell I guess #text #wheel of time
