i need jon to be absolutely ENAMORED by damian’s scars. jon can never get scarred but there are so many of those crisscrossing on damian’s skin. and jon likes to feel and trace the soft raised flesh under his fingertips and his palms.

jon gets breathless everytime he touches damian’s skin and he can’t stop touching it. his fingers keep caressing the uneven parts of damian, and he names the scars like how humankind named planets and constellations. some of the scars will itch and ache when the weather changes, and jon will pinch the itchy spots, call their names and tell them to “stop bothering my robin he needs to get up early to catch all the worms”, and damian will tell jon “you’re the worm.”

“would you still love me if i was a worm?”

“i’d eat you then fry myself on the electric wires.”

“awww, you want us to turn into ashes together? and they say romance is dead.”

“it was, but i threw it into the Pit a while ago.”
