now for something a little different. i've been hard at work journaling all my precious memories of seeing everything everything (my favorite band) two times in the past week, and wanted to make somewhat of a visual diary to remember what i was wearing on the days i'd seen them.

i drew myself smiling extra hard in the one from august 2016 because that's when i showed up with my first ever tattoo, the cover of "get to heaven", on my body! it was so fun and meaningful showing it to them and seeing their reactions. jon posted a photo of me even, which was CRAZY! they have always been so kind to me, which is appreciated more than i can really say.

so much has happened since those shows in 2016, and as you can imagine, i've changed quite a bit. while i was out at the time, i've really come into myself. it was fun to see that visually, too. made me a bit emotional. however, i was kind of cursing myself towards the end for wearing such complicated patterns. but, i like these more than pretty much any photo of myself. i should really just draw myself in the future instead, huh?!

as an added tidbit, i wanted to share some of my favorite ee songs. anyone that knows me knows of them, since they've been a staple for so long. but if you don't know me and you don't know them, well, this is for you! my favorite song, probably of all time, is their b-side "wizard talk". i'm actually planning on writing something at length about it soon. other favorites include warm healer, schoolin', in birdsong, no reptiles, armourland, and software greatman. i could say so much more, but i'll stop myself there!
